It's not currently possible to gift a single song from an iOS device, you can only gift albums.

We use Apple TV on a daily basis and buy movies regularly. I have filled up my hard drive on my laptop. I would like to be able to delete the movies off my laptop but still have them on my AppleTV. The itunes account is tied to both Apple TV and my laptop. Anyone been able to do this?

you need to increase the storage on your laptop (be that internal or external storage).
if you remove something from itunes, it will also be removed from the appletv.
the appletv should only ever have copies of the content, and not the only copy.
the itunes library is the master location for all your media.

I could not find an option to "report a problem".
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Use View > View Options, and set 'Sort By" to "Manual Order."
Then you will be able to drag-n-drop songs up and down the list.

Take a look at the iTunes Help webpage below, it provides more information about grouping compilations and editing CD information, which should help you change the way compilations are displayed in the new version of iTunes.

For an album with songs by multiple artists, such as a movie soundtrack. To group such albums together (rather than list each song with its particular artist), choose iTunes > Preferences, click Advanced, and select “Group compilations when browsing.”

What version of iPhoto are you using? For iPhoto 9 click on the Share button at the bottom right of the iPhoto window and select Order Prints from the options presented:
Note: I recommend that you crop the photos to the print size you want before ordering so that you can determine what part of the photos gets cropped out rather than let the photofinisher's software do the cropping.

I can import some songs from another computer but not others. All the songs were purchased with the same apple id. Message says "...check connection to network..." Any ideas as to what could be causing this problem?

Using home share, I can import some songs from my son's computer but not others. All the songs were purchased with the same apple id. Err msg:"There was a problem downloading ... You do not have enouggh access privileges for this operation. Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again." The network appears to be fine . I can import other songs from his library. The same songs cause me a problem each time I try. My husband had no trouble importing the same songs I have trouble with. I get the same error message if I try to import the same songs from my husbands computer as well. "Command I" appears to show the same protections on both the songs I can import & the ones I cannot. My husband and son are both running OS 10.6, while I am running 10.7. I think I had this problem even before I upgraded, but I am not certain.

My first suggestion is to Repair Disk. Here's how:
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need to use a utility like Tech Tool Pro or Disk Warrior

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPad and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

Copied over all music to computer and installed latest Itunes. No, I'm not using the icloud email address. I am using my email address [email protected] Let me try to explain what I'm trying to do. I'd like the emails that I send from and that are sent to my pacbell.net email address to also show up on icloud so if something happens to my imac which is the primary computer my emails are preserved on Icloud and I can access them there.
Is that possible?
Note: I have been able to move my pacbell.net emails to the icloud account manually.
