Welcome back to the HP Support forums. I understand that you would like to learn how to view your page count without having to print a Printer Status Report.
The information can be viewed online using the printer's embedded web server (EWS). Please follow the steps below:
1)       Press the wireless icon on the front panel of the printer to find the printer's ip address.
2)      Type the ip address of the printer into the address bar of your browser, this will bring up the EWS. I recommend that you bookmark this web page for future use. Then please click on 'Tools' tab.
3)      Click on 'Reports' along the left hand side menu
4)      This will print up a usage screen with the total page count shown across the top

Greetings , I would be more than happy to help you by explaining the lines on your printer status report.
Since every printer report is slightly different for each model, just so I can be exact, would it be possible for you to scan the page and send it to me in a private message? On most reports, most of the line numbers you have listed are related to the fax setup. Since I don't have your exact printout, I used this example report as reference from this document; Officejet 5740 - An 'Out of Paper' Message.
The lines on this report are showing: 25= Fax Forwarding ... Forwards your fax to another number (just like call forwarding) 26= Auto Answer ... Whether or not the printer automatically answers the incoming call 27= Rings to Answer ... The number of rings the fax machine waits to answer the incoming call 28= Distictive Ring ... A distinctive ring service allows your phone system to add another phone number to the same phone line. When a call comes in on the distinctive ring number, the telephone rings with a ring sequence that is different than the standard ring tone. (Note: This is a service setup through your phone provider) 29= (ECM) Error Correction Mode ... I recommend reading this Enabling or Disabling Error Correction Mode (ECM) 30= Fax to PC ... Settings related to receiving you faxes digitally on your computer 31= Faxes Sent ... total faxes sent from your printer 32= Faxes Received ... total faxes received on your printer ** You can learn more about your fax setup here; HP Printers - Sending and Receiving Faxes, or from the HP Officejet 5740 e-All-in-One series User Guide. Lines 45,46,47 - I'm unsure because the example I have is not showing these lines. Printer Status Report

Printer: HP Photosmart 5515 on the label (but HP Photosmart 5510d B111h on the Printer Status Report).
Operating system: Win 7
Why does item 25 in my Printer Status Report show incorrect "Ink Install" dates? Depending on the colour, the date of installation of each ink cartridge is given as four or five days earlier than the actual date of replacement. I would have thought that the date would be exactly as per my desktop computer to which the printer is connected via a USB cable.
The printer is less than one year old and has given the incorrect dates from the moment the original set-up cartridges were replaced.

You are correct that the dates should in fact change and show the exact dates. This will not affect your ability to print or print quality at all. It may have something to do with you needing a product update. You can click here to find out how to check for a product update on your printer.
When it's time to change a cartridge next time print the Status report before you replace it and then again right after you replace it. If the same thing happens please scan the sheets and attach them to this thread for me to look at.

Incorrect date in Printer Status Report

I just changed a print cartridge today for an Officejet 6500 wireless. The printer system date is today 8-19-11. The Printer Status Report ink install date [#53 on the report] shows 8-13-11. Why? Thanks, Apuleius

I beleive the printer only stores the date to the nearest week.

What is the USE for a TEST PAGE/Printer Status REPORT

Have you read post or forums and a tech wants you to see if you can print a test page or Printer status report?
This is a test to make sure the printer's function is working correctly. Sometimes you can't print from your printer and everything is stuck and you may think it's the printer. If you can print this test page, then most likely it will be a software issue or connection issue.
The information contained in a test page can help diagnose a printer problem or to review information particular to the printer. Test pages can be printed by using the print control panel or the computer.
The print test page function prints a page with several cartridge print patterns and a numbered list containing printer specific information.

You need to stop the recording. Is it reading Recording Paused? If so, instead of tapping the red button to stop it, tap the word DONE. That is what actually stops the recording. Tapping the red button just pauses it.

How to configure a new status report in cProjects?

First of all, the standard status report PDF is not rendering at all when we generate the status report - we CAN send it with the appropriate data, though, so we know that the program is gathering the data. All of our other custom interactive PDFs are working fine.
Our issue is that we'd like to create a new custom status report but can't figure out how to do it.
We've done the following:
1) create a read only form (zstat_rpt)
2) in SPRO, for our capital and expense project types, we've entered
ZSTAT_RPT in the PDF Print Form sub-folder. Marked it as ACTIVE and
checked the Status Rpt checkbox.
3) Unchecked the DPR_STATUS_REPORT_AIF Status Rpt and Active checkboxes
4) Under Badi: PDF-Based Forms in SPRO, we created a new Enhancement
Implementation (zrp_eimp_stat). It uses BAdi Implementation DPR_STATUSREPORT_AIF
and the description shows as Izrp_eimp_statmplementation: BAdI: PDF-Based Forms
5) In SE19, I go to the badi implementation, into method GET_FORM_NAME and changed
the Returning parameter RV_FORM_NAME to ZSTAT_RPT (my pdf form).
Now, when i go to generate the status report, I get a message "No templates for status reports have been entered for the project type" - I know my project type is capital.
any help on this? any steps I'm missing?

I dont think that we can insert new records in WE47, but we can develop the logic in the idoc population program to add status to the idoc.

How can I disable printer access on a managed account (guest/kids)?

Is there a way to disable printer use on a managed user account? I have created a limited user account for my kids to use. The problem is, sometimes they visit these websites that allow them to print their "works of art" and by doing so they use up a lot of my printer toner and paper. I don't want to have to turn off the printer and create a giant printer queue as the printer is a network printer shared among other computers. I rather just disable their printing capabilities. Deleting the printer from their user account also deleted it from my main (admin) account. I'm posting this in hopes someone out there knows how to do what I'm asking for. Thank you.

Scotch_Brawth has the basic steps outlined. A few additions I would make is that CUPS is already running on your system in the background. It is the underlying printing system for OS X. The easiest way to control the users of printers is through the web interface to CUPS. This is what is disabled by default in Mountain Lion. You can enable it by using the Terminal (/Applications/Terminal). Copy and paste the following command into a Terminal wndow and then hit Enter or Return:
cupsctl WebInterface=yes
Now you can use any web browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:631/printers/. Click on the link to the printer you want to control. There will be two drop down menus near the top of the page -- Maintenance and Administaration. Use the Administration menu to select Set Allowed Users. The page that will appear lets you enter a list of users to either allow to use the printer or prevent from using the printer. Make the appropriate choices and click the Set Allowed Users button. You will be prompted to enter your administrator's user name and password.
You only need to enable the web interface once. It will then be available unless you use the Terminal to disable it or until an Apple update turns it off again.

How do I disable printer color management so I can get clear photos using adobe?

My printer is an Office Jet Pro 8500A Plus. My operating system is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I get excellent photos if I print from Windows Media. When I print from Photoshop Elements 10 all images are blurred and dark. Photoshop says to disable printer color management in printer preferences but there is no link.

I have researched the matter a lot and I,
along with many others, still have problems with this complicated
subject.
Color management is as simple in theory as Honoring a Source Profile and CONVERTING it to a Target Profile (monitor or printer) for Proofing.
But yes, we work at the mercy of the rocket scientists who try to dumb an extremely complicated process down so regular folks (like me) can make it work — trouble is I think their approach needs a bit more distilling and common sense sometimes...but it is very doable once you put in the time to figure it out, just follow the CHAIN in your workflow if you're still having problems.
If you want a "simple button" try staying in sRGB and printing out of Apple Preview app using OEM standard papers matched to your printer and OEM ink set.

How to get the print status

Hi all
After the output is displayed with ALV ,I have the following requirement
A status field will be found at the end of the row and will reflect the current status of the print documents. After printing occurs, the screen should refresh and processing status reflected to show post-print status. The user will then be able to see what documents printed immediately. Any documents that did not successfully print will need to be reprinted through the .PDF files stored in the shared directory.
I am unable to proceed further

Try going through this table TSP02L.It may give you some lead.
As well as go to DD02T table and give as spool in DDTEXT field so that you will be able to see all the spool related tables.

Reprot type : group Above.
If I am not using group above, serial no like 1,2,3 is printing correctly. But if i use group above, serial no are not printing on order. it is printing like 5,4,3, 8.. li
How to print serially with group above.

Summary function :count
summary column : ename
reset at : <group name>Your serial problem solved.

How to generate Process chain status reports

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement to capture process chains runtime on a daily basis.
I know we can get this in RSPCM, however my requirement is to automate this as a report. This report should be automatically generated daily and e-mail has to be sent to certain members of the project.
Can someone please suggest how to go about this?.
