HT4060 Bought a new ipad and now its down to 28% so I am trying to charge it by the plug in but instead of going up its going down in %
Trying to figure out how to charge my new ipad wi-fi cellar. I plugged it in but instead of going up in % is still going down and its now showing me that its charging like a cell phone does. When I started to charge it, it was 28% now its 27%. Its plugged into a wall.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. Try rebooting the device by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo again. It should take about 10-15seconds to reboot.

Screen sharing setup in 10.5, 10.6 are described by the links by operating system. 10.7 is fairly similar to 10.6.
And if both Macs have Firewire, you can setup a Firewire over IP network for fast communication between machines. Note if you have two different Firewire ports a 6 pin to 9 pin Firewire cable does exist. There are no Firewire to USB cables. -

Thank you, but after an hour with apple support on the phone we came to the conclusion that the documents are lost... So the lesson is, don't trust icloud as a back up solution! A month worth of work down the drain...

I just bought a new PC and now have ample space on my C drive to house my music Library which is currenlty installed on a external drive. What is the best way to install and move the itunes library to my C Drive?
If the entire library is on the external drive then simply copy the iTunes folder into <User's Music> on the new computer, then install iTunes. If you've already installed iTunes you will want to remove the empty iTunes folder in <User's Music> first.

I never had a problem synching before I updated the OS on my new ipad and now I can't even start a sync. I have a win7 PC and use the ipad every day. How can I fix this so it syncs again?
I don't have my computer in front of me to check, but when you connect your iPad to your computer and open iTunes, there are options on what to sync. To manually manage music and other options.
If you can sync movies but not music then it suggests that the connection is good, so that part works. Which means it just may be a setting in iTUnes (and I mean iTunes on the computer, not the iPad) -

You should be able to re-download past ibook purchases (as long as they are still available in the store) by tapping the Store button at the top left of the iBooks app and then going into the Purchased tab at the bottom of the store page : re-downloading.
