I rarely if ever turn my iPad off. I charge it when the battery is low or at night while I'm sleeping. Even then I close the Smart Cover and let it sleep but I do not turn it off. It doesn't matter when you charge the iPad.
The most efficient way to charge the iPad is to use the charger that came with it and plug that into a known good wall outlet.

I am connecting the IPC1100 set top boxes using ethernet. When I connect the box to the back of the verizon supplied router everything works great. I then coneect the verizon router to a 24 port Meraki L2 switch and the IPC1100 boxes to the meraki switch, everything works great. Ok this is what has me dumb founded. If I connect the router to a Cisco 2960X switch running Lan Base and the latest code rev I get no video, but I do get Guide menus and show information. If I run a show int g1/0/1, (the interface the box is connected to) I can see multicast, boradcast, and data counters going up. I am gettting zero errors. I made an access list to allow all multicasts in the range verizon uses and am loging the hits and I see it going up. I have tried every possible configuration on the port and no video. I have tried every IGMP and command I know and still nothing. How is an enterprise switch not able to support video over ethernet for these boxes?

Does the Cisco switch create a new subnet that the IPCs then are on?For sure all of the IPCs and VMS have to be on the same subnet.

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). There are some apps that perform fairly basic editing functions that are available in the store, but nothing as sophisticated as, for example, Lightroom.

Look at this technical specs document, your system should be fine with the possible exception of Color.

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
Restart your mobile device.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

If you bought a notebook with Windows 8, there are no product key stickers anymore.
The key is now digitally encoded in the BIOS.

I am installing E-Sourcing on Solaris SPARC. I installed and configured E-Sourcing successfully ( I got the message that they finished successfully). But now I can't find script install_root.xml anywhere to run the db import.
Any help ?

I did that but when looking for file install_root.xml, it is not on anywhere. The guide says to look for it at fciinstall.jar/scripts/product/install_root.xml (below).
On the Setup tab of the DB importer, use the file picker to browse to and choose
fciinstall.jar/scripts/product/install_root.xml.
I tried to find it (find . -name install_root.xml -print) under the esourcing51 dir and also on the install dir but didn't find it.
Ideas ?
