It is not really necessary to close apps from there. It is more like a recently used apps list. You can close them from there if a problem occurs with the app, and there are only a few apps that will remain running when you close them with the Home button. If you can't restore from your backup you could try 3rd party software such as iPhone Backup Extractor to see if you could extract your notes from the backup.

Yes - well you have to make the file in a word processing Application.
You could use TextEdit (it's free) Pages (words only), or Numbers (data base) (they are part of iWorks - and may or may not be free (included) on your machine. You could use MS Office (it is not free) You could use any Open source word processor that plays well with Office (NeoOffice, StarOffice) they are free.
That's how you create content and copy/paste URLS. Then you save the file to the desktop. If you are going to make more than one file... you make a folder on the desktop and save, or drag the file(s) into it.
You attach it to your e-mail client which will compress it and e-mail it. An excellent reference is to use Help, from the menu bar, also from inside any application. From your library or book store the OS X for Dummies has a lot of useful information (you don't read it cover to cover but look up chapters about what you'd like to do)
You can also make appointments at your local Apple store for individualized help (if a store is nearby) -

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

You will need to update the address and country that you have on your account, and if using a credit card then that will need to be registered to that new address - you should be able to update them logging into your account via Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes

You can't use an external hard drive like you would with a computer.
You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)
When you first connect the USB flash drive, you will only see thumbnails of the pics on the iPad; you have to import the pic file to see the full size. With your large library of pics, you will have to do this repeateably and then delete pics so you don't exceed your memory capacity.

Hi guys.Got a problem with my iPhone 5. I bought it in a shop 4 month ago. After I got a visitor with iOS 7 on his phone he would like to charge his phone with my Laptop and cable.But when he plugged it in it showed a message wich says: " This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this phone".
How is this possible? I then phoned the shop and told them my problem. When I gave them the details I also found out that the imei No. in the iPhone is the same as on the original box. But the the Serial numbers are different. I already try the support centre but I’m over the 90 days.And there is no Apple Store in Namibia. I hope someone can help me here. Caches, to us lesser mortals, are one of the first culprits that come to mind when all the cookies (including smart cookies) and browser cache have been erased, yet the ads on Web pages still want to know if I'd like to find a date tonight in my specific area code. So, I turn to sites like the Apple discussion pages to find out what other pieces of memory I have to flush to feel less stalked. According to you, I shouldn't bother my poor head learning about this machine I bought, I should just trust manufacturers and programmers to manage everything.

I would like to buy a developer license to use on a mac at a public library from a flash drive any issue with this? Very new to this
The license is for the Developer not the machine it is run on However there could be soma issues with trying to develop on a public machine.
The biggest is does the library machine have or will they let you install and run Xcode and if you are developing for IOS will they let you plug in your devices?
In addition will they allow you the hours needed on the machine? Most public machines have a time limit especially if there are others waiting to use it.
All-in-all in can be done but it won;t be an easy situation.
