HT4623 hello. how do I put the songs from my computer to my IPOD/NANO

Can anybody help me please? I have a IPOD/NANO but I have no idea on how to put my songs that I bought from tunes to my Nano. There is a place you can click for more info on what or how to download but the buttons they want me to push are not even in my Nano. Idk how to do this. Please just  give me a hint or point me in the right direction. Thank you
Oh and also if anybody knows how to bluetooth the nano as well, I would appreciate it.
Thank you
Sincerely
Kris

Bluetooth in the iPod nano is for connecting to Bluetooth-enabled headphones only. Is that what you wish to do?

Individual songs? Via a shared folder, external drive or a memory stick.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

We have more than one computer at home. How do we get the songs from each computer onto one I-Pod?

Copy the songs to a computer that is running iTunes, add those new tracks to the current library, and then synch those tracts to the iPod.
You might take a look at iTunes Help....

I have already tried following those steps. I went back and tried to follow them again but they did not work. Some of my songs have synced, some have not. And I am still not seeing the Autofill icon on the bottom of the menu or anywhere else. I fear something has been corrupted here and I need to start afresh.

  • How do I put the songs from CDs on my iPad?

I put a bunch of songs from my CDs on the library part of iTunes.  IMO logged in and everything, I just can't see it on my iPad.  What do I need to do to get my songs on my iPad?

Import them to an iTunes library on a computer and then sync the iPad with that iTunes library.

  • How do i resynk the music from my computer onto my iPod touch?

I did an update a couple of months ago. Recently I went into my music and it was COMPLEETLY empty; even the songs I bought from the itunes store. My iTunes thingy on my computer is saying that those songs are still in my music, but their not. Please help me, I'm lost without my music when I'm away from wifi (with wifi i listen to pandora). Any sugestions? I'll take any.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

i have just got a laptop and rather than putting all my cds on2 my itunes is it possible 2 just transfer the existing music from the actual ipod into my itunes?

Have you got your original PC with the iTunes folder on it? If so you can use your iPod to move the folder to your laptop: "How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300173-en
Alternatively there are a few third party programs you could look at for accessing your iPod, here are links to a couple.

Open iTunes and plug in your iPod. On the left sidebar there should be your iPod name (If you can't find the sidebar, go to iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar), go to your iTunes playlist and drag the songs you want to your iPod. For all of the songs, go to your iPod music library, even if you don't have songs, and on the bottom there should be a blue-ish bar. There might be a box saying "Autofill from iTunes library" click that ONLY if you want ALL songs from your iTunes to your iPod.

how can i put my songs from my iphone to itunes on my laptop without replacing it with the content of the music on my laptop?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good, then you may be able to purchase third party software to extract the music from your iphone.  This is not supported by Apple.

  • HT1766 I want to put the songs from my MP3 onto my new phone but it just shows all my songs with an exclamation point. How do I convert my songs to work with my iTunes?

I want to put the songs from my mp3 onto my iPhone but everytime I go to do it it shows exclamation points next to my songs. How do I convert them to work with my iTunes and phone?

The "missing file" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then say no when asked to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions. I can provide a step by step guide if you give me the two paths.
In some cases iTunes may be able to repair itself if you go through the same steps and locate the lost track. It may then offer to attempt to automatically fix other broken links. Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use myFindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes.
