I have setup icloud in my Iphone 6 running 8.1.2. and it is logged in by enabling Contacts in icloud settings. My contact list contains 1718 Contacts. I manually backed up my data into icloud including my contacts without Passbook & Documents data. But when i logged into iCloud.com to see the contacts it is not there.
I also find when i checked only the Icloud contacts "there are no contacts showing in my contact list". I think this is the reason why there is no contacts in icloud web too. Then how can i move contacts from other accounts (eg: gmail,hotmail etc) to icloud.

I assume you're using GMail as your primary e-mail account? Try this. This is how I am setup. Not only will it move all your contacts to your phone but any changes made in GMail or on the iPhone will be sync'd with the server.

Note... I think this will delete your existing contacts from your device. You will want to use iTunes to back them up and get them imported into GMail before you sync your device wtih GMail.

Can I revert my contacts back a month? The cloud is suppose to merge contacts, why does it look like my verizon contacts were replaced by my gmail contacts?

It looks like my phone contacts were updated to my gmail contacts? I lost phone numbers I know I had and now I have all these stupid email addresses in my contacts. Will I be able to get my numbers back from my verizon backup? can they reload from a previous backup?

Great question Cheech446. If you previously used backup assistance with your last phone yes you can use it with your new phone http://vz.to/1mF0GIx. The information will also transfer if you did a back up recently on previous phone.

On your iOS device tap Settings > iCloud. Turn Contacts off.
Reset the device. Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Now tap Settings > iCloud. Turn Contacts back on.

Click Exceptions...
Type mail.google.com in address of website area
Click Allow
Try to open attachment window now.
Restart FireFox and try adding attachment again.

Outlook contact not added Email do not show all information i Lync 2013 Client

I have seen if no Email address is added into contact personen I only get emty Card of user i Lync 2013.
When I add Email adr. into contact person and wait a littel then user get all information right i Lync 2013 user Card.
IS this right or should it also showing user and all information from Outlook contact Card into lync 2013 client Card?

Lync aggregates contact data from Microsoft Exchange GAL, Outlook and Microsoft Lync Server.
So you can see information from outlook in Lync user card.

Collect signatures workflow - Signatures can't be added or removed because this document was opened read-only

Hi, I have configured a "Collect Signatures" workflow for test Word document(.docx), then uploaded it to sample SP 2010 doc library (content type "Document"). This Word document has 2 empty Signature Lines in it.
After that i'm starting the Collect Signatures workflow on it , which is assigned to me and other user from my Active Directory.
Workflow is started and after that i'm receiving mail about assigned task which also contains link to document.
When i click on link it opens IE which contains SP library file path, after a while doc is opened in Word client in Read-only mode. When i want to sign the document info window pops up : "Signatures can't be added or removed because this document was opened
read-only" and i'm not able to compete task/sign doc from Word.
It is possible to sign the document when i go to SP library and opens this file directly from there (file drop-down menu-> open in MS Word).
I saw that this behaviour is similar to this article:

I could not reproduce this issue.
When you open this file directly by clicking the document Name link from SharePoint library, is there a
yellow message bar in Word document?
Did this happen to all users on all PCs?
Have you checked if it is a client side issue, test with different IE 8/9/10 versions for this issue (and IE compatibility mode, add-ons, trusted site zone etc)?

iCloud only "syncs" data in the iCloud account, not data in other external accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc. If your email, contacts and calendars are hosted by another external account, such as Gmail/Google, you may want to not sync this data using iCloud as you would have import it all to the iCloud account in order to do so. Instead, add your external account to your iOS devices and in Settings>Mail,Conacts,Calendars>Add Account and turn on contacts and calendar syncing with your external account.

New iPad - contacts already added that I didn't add?

I just purchased a new iPad three days ago. I had only added one contact to my contact list. When I looked at the list today, there were three additional people on the list, that I didn't add. I don't currently use iCloud and have not synched the iPad to my computer yet (PowerBook G4, OSX 10.5.4). The three people that were added, one I would want on my list, the other two, probably not. How did this happen? Am I being auto-added to their lists as well? I really don't want "everyone" to have access to me via Facetime, iMessages, etc. Is there a way to restrict how contacts are added/who is added? I looked all over Settings and couldn't find anything. One last thought, of the three contacts that were added, two of them have never been contacted via the iPad and are people I've contacted maybe once, but several years ago. Not sure if this matters - I am not using Facebook on the iPad.

Relax, it was nothing you did. These are music libraries that other users on your network have decided to share over the network. These libraries are not on your computer and if you decide to, you can play the music from their computer.
But if you do not want to see these shared libraries, then go to the iTunes menu, Preferences and the Sharing tab. Uncheck the box that says "Look for shared libraries."

Not the same.
On your iPad go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select the Gmail account.
Select Delete Account.
Under the Info tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, do you have Sync Mail accounts selected?
If so, deselect this followed by selecting Apply.
