I wish I could have told my sister about this as she could not open my homepage back before my new iWeb site. She now can open my site without the yet in case denial window does appear = I thank you.
I think my iWeb site works as Noone has said otherwise from any platform etc...

I do agree that should not have to be a consideration for any users so i agree that it would be great if Apple could allow simplicity to run seemlessly.
I have had this problem since Homepage, and here is
what has worked for me. I send out the link, and
then for PC users I send the link with "<" after the address (without quotation
marks. e.g., <http://site.com>).
I also put a note that if that doesn't work, to just
copy and paste the link into a browser. With that I
have only had 1 person say they still can't open.
Everyone else gets it to work.
It's a lot to do and seems like a hassle, but you get
used to it.

How can you retrieve photo's from the time capsule(airport)

I recently had a problem with my mac and had to archive my stuff and put the operating system back on my computer.
I 'lost' everything however I have been able to get some things back from the time capsule (airport) from previous backups. I can not find my photo's and they are the most important things I want back on my computer.
Can anyone help? I have tried various things but still can't find them.

If you did an Archive and Install, look for your "Previous System" folder and check for iPhoto in it.

Masters is where you want to be. They'll be in there in folders based on the date and time they were imported.

How do you retrieve child tags from a parent tag in a tree structure and build an array from it?

Is there a property node somewhere that can retrieve the tags of all the children of an "active" parent tag in a tree structure? If I click on the parent tag, I want to be able to show what child tags are under that parent tag.

There is not a property or method that I have been able to find, however I wrote this VI that given a parent tag returns all the children.

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

Since he has spent more money on apps, music, etc, I'd like to switch my devices to use his account, even if it means losing the few apps or songs that I bought on my account. No need to switch. You can use both his apps, music, etc. and yours.

The photos could have gone a couple of different places ...but it is unlikely that they are lost forever. It kind of depends how your Backup was done. With many Computer-based iTunes connections, your Computer Photo App will actually open first when you connect your iPhone and the photo transfer will happen between the iPhone and the App. Assuming that isn't what happened in your case, but you did Backup on iTunes, you could reconnect to iTunes and then click on your iPhone button on the Computer screen ...typically the iTunes Summary screen will show up ...but you can tab-through the various iTunes Screens and find the Photo page. You could check your options and see if you have a Manual Sync setting regarding iTunes to iPhoone ...this would mean you have to select the Photos you want to download to the iPhone during the Sync.

It is a bit hard to follow what you are attempting..
Is the new hard drive going to be a boot drive.. if so it needs wiping.. if not then you should be able to restore info to it.. as long as it already has the right format.

Hard disks are cheap btw.. buy more.. do not mess with files you want to keep.. as you are just as likely to wipe them in the process of doing what you want. Just get another drive. And another.. it is like there is a never ending requirement for hard disks.
If there is any info you ever think is important.. NEVER NEVER have it on only one hard disk.. you are one second from complete disaster.

You can do this a couple ways. If you are using MobileMe, notes is one of the options for synchronization and that would be automatic. Another way is to backup your iphone to iTunes, this backs up essentially all the information on your phone (except for music) and if you restore the other iphone to the image of the original your notes will be transfered.

Did you restore your iCloud backup? That should recover camera roll photos.

Restore from the iCloud backup - assuming that you were backing up to iCloud in the first place. If you weren't using iCloud for backup - then you are out of luck.
If you were backing up to iCloud - you have to erase all contents on the iPad in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings - before you can restore from the iCloud backup.

Well, you didn't give any information on your Mac, your OS version, transfer pics from where to where, or anything else, so guessing is the best anyone can do at this point: you should be able to simply using drag and drop.

Yes, there are websites that can do what you want. You just have to do a Google search for what you want.
