I have been attempting to get the ITunes Store to open so that I can update my purchased Apps and backup to ICloud for severAuthorize this Toshiba Laptop PC running Microsoft 32 bit Vista.

The applications that were downloaded are licensed to this old Apple ID. Any updates that need to be processed for these apps will need to be processed using this Apple ID password. You cant attempt to reset that password for the Apple ID via the steps in the first article below. If you need assistance with this, see the second attached article. You can also delete the applications in question and download them again with your new Apple ID. However, this will cause any application data in those applications to be deleted and you may be charged if these are paid for applications.

How do I get Itunes Store to open on my new computer?

Our Itunes store will not open on our brand new computer and is doing the same thing as our old computer did. The bar looks like it's loading underneath "Itunes Store" but then it stops. My husband is knowledgeable about computer stuff and couldn't get it figured out after working through enabling Itunes through Norton. HELP!

You must disable Norton in order to connect to the iTunes store.

And try turning off the Firewall.

Help! Can't get iTunes store to open

Recently switched from an iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5. To switch all of my music and apps over, I had to update my Mac to the OS X 10.6.8. I also updated my iTunes to 11.0.5. When I did this, I was able to transfer all my music, and can still access my iTunes library. Here's the problem, I can't get the iTunes library to open. It shows it loading, but only get's halfway and stops. It has my account along the top, and even the home, music, movies, and podcasts buttons, but they only load halfway as well. It's just a white screen. There is no "unable to access iTunes store" or any sort of pop-up to explain why it won't open... Just a blank screen. My WiFi is working and I've tried multiple networks to make sure that was not the problem. I can also still get onto the store from my phone using my account. I tried to see if logging in with my sister's account would make a difference, but it still did not work. I've tried all of the suggested ways through the iTunes support and haven't found the problem. I'm not sure what the best way would be to fix it. Any suggestions?!

Using iTunes 11.0.4.4 and when I try to open the iTunes store, it starts to load and after the indicator goes about half way to loading. So far as I know, nothing has changed on my computer. It has worked up until today.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.

From your post I see that you're unable to change the country of the iTunes Store due to having a gift balance. In this situation your options are to either add a credit card to your account if one doesn't exist already and then purchase something, or you can contact iTunes Store support.
Store credit balance
You must spend your balance before you can change stores.
If your store credit is less than the cost of a single item on the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, or Mac App Store, you can add a credit card to your account. When you buy an item, you will use the remaining store credit and charge the remainder of the purchase to your credit card.
If you don't have a credit card, contact iTunes Store support.
