You can download music previously purchased from the iTiunes store as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519.
Even easier would be to authorize your computer for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase the music (in iTunes Store>Authorize This Computer), the connect one of your devices to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Note: if you have other music on your device that was not purchased from the iTunes store, this will remove it and replace it with the music that is in your iTunes library now.

Yes, that is exactly what it means.
The right way to do it is to first rebuild your library on the new computer, and then sync the iPod.
You can rebuild your library by copying the library from the old computer or from your backup.
If neither of those options is available, you can extract the songs from the iPod, although the process is a bit hairy. See this guide for the procedure, written by Forum member Steve/turingtest2.

You can migrate a copy of the data to a new account, then delete the other person's data from each account. To do this, on the phone that will be changing accounts, if you have any photos in photo stream that you want to keep on the phone, save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll. If you have any synced notes that you want to keep on the phone, email these to yourself so you can create new notes in the new account.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account. You will create a new icloud email address with you turn Mail to On.
Finally, to un-merge the data you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want (such as deleting your wife's data from your account, and vice versa).

You have to download the iPhone version of the app - if there are two different versions and if you do not want to pay for the iPad version.

How do I download an MP3 from the web to iTunes

I received an email with a link to an MP3 I'd like to load onto iTunes so I can listen to it on my iPod. But when I click on the link, it opens Safari, and the only thing on the screen is a progress bar with a start/stop and a volume control. I can't find anything to click on to drag it to iTunes.
I've tried 'File->save as' and put it on my downloads folder or on the desktop. But it won't save as an MP3, it tells me it has to put '.webarchive' as an extension. If I try to drag the file to iTunes, nothing happens. If I double click on it, I get the same Safari window.

I have satellite Internet with low bandwidth limits meaning that updating software is nearly impossible without packing up my iMac and bringing it to a library or some other open WiFi spot. I tried this with a few other applications and it worked, BUT not for iPhoto. Interestingly enough my version of iPhoto on my Air is 9.2.2 and is reporting only being 256MB in the Applications directory. My iMac version is 9.2 and is taking up 1.09GB of space in the Applications directory. I only have 1 photo on my Air and use my iMac for my photos and editing. I can't and don't use Photo Stream because of my bandwidth limitations.

All apple devices are recognised by the PC in itunes but cannot get the music to load onto any of the devices from my itunes library. there is an error message with 100+ errors as songs are not found.
