HTML code for playing swf on the web

Hello All,
Relative newbie to Flash CS3, although I have been using
flash video files for a while with opensource software.
I have upgraded to CS3 and one main reason I wanted to go
with the Adobe software was for the purpose of providing
progressive downloads on my website with a classy adobe skin.
When I publish my movie I get 2 swf files, one flv file, one
html file and my fla file.
I uploaded them to my server:

Now I can watch a movie on line BUT I have a website that I
want to embed this video into.
So I need to generate the code to paste into an "html
snippet" box in my website creator (iweb 08)
Previously I was using the Wimpy Wasp flv player and they
provide a generator to get the code to put your movie together with
the player. (an flv with a swf)
But in Flash CS3 there are different files and I am
confused...
HOW CAN I DO THIS???
the furthest I have been able to get gave me the video with
an error regarding the skin and then there was no player!
Any help would be very very appreciated!

Normally Flash generates an HTML, 2xSWF, FLV for your needs,
where one of the swf's is your compiled flash movie and the other
is the playerSkin.
You just need to grab both swf's and the flv, place them on
your webserver, copy and paste the code from the generated html
file and place it on your site.
Job done.

As a regular vistor of all sports websites especially, as well as your funnyvideoclips site etc, I am horrified that my N95 won't play any videos. Why can't the video player used for watching movies I've actually taken be used. Even on BBC's site I cannot view interviews or actual sports footage.

Hi i am new to J2ME. Does any body have the source code for playing video?

The WTK includes a video player example. I would start by looking there. In addtion SE and Nokia (if I remember correctly) both have video examples on their developer web sites.

Where is the HTML-Code for the Dashboard-Links defined? How to edit it?

I'd like to know where HTML-Code for the Dashboard-Links (My Dashboard, insert random Dashboardname here, ...) is defined.
Inspecting HTML-Code via the browser, i'll got the following HTML-Tag:
an <a'' href="...url"... class="CurrentPortal" name="DashboardBannerLink" title="...">Dashboard-name</a''>
What i know is, that i can modify portalbanner.css and edit the style of those links.
But thats not what i want, though. I want to modify the html-code itself, for example change the layout of the table etc, to meet our company's corporate design requirements.
Thats why i tried to find the terms PortalLink and CurrentPortal within the Message-Database (/msgdb).
Unfortunately, i got no results.
As a consequence, I believe HTML for those Links is generated by saw.dll internally and therefore can not be edited.
Now i need someone to prove me wrong ;)

-had to edit the html tag, as the code was turned into a clickable link when i posted the thread

I still didn't find a solution until now, although i checked almost every xml file, that i was able to find.
At the moment I am sure, that it would be necessary to edit sawm-Parameter "bannerHtml" to meet my requirements. Now, i dont know whether its possible to edit it or not, since those saw-parameters do not seem to be documented on the web.

1) download one of the Buffy fonts @ font space, just as Hans-Günter wrote.
2) go to FontSquirrel, and use the web font generator: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator
3) load up your buffy font, and generate the web font.
4) download the zip package, and check out the included demo file
Copy all the font files (all four of them) to your web folder. Then copy the code that looks like this to the top of your css:

Can I customise the HTML code in an eCommerce online purchase web form?

The Adora template lets me customise the html code but then after saving the form it reverts back to the default. Can anybody tell me if I can customise this form or find where the form placeholder/HTML is located so that I can try and insert the html directly.

Hi Brendon. Although the form is a custom web form the actual form you view is under the Registration Buy layout of eCommerce layouts.
You need to copy the html you edit from the customise web form part of the form and paste it into that Registration Buy Layout too.

How to get the embed html code for my webpage so I can use it on eBay listings?

Hi, I already created a Muse webpage, but when i export it as html I get a code that is not compatible with eBay because eBay won't allow "cookies" nor "iFrame" on a listing.. is there a way around so I can get a working html code for eBay? Html code for quicktime audio stream

I am looking for the html code to play mp3-audio files on a website. I used to write it with the <embed>-tag, but this does not work in modern browsers like firefox 8 or opera 11.5. Perhaps someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Your page code is telling my browser to look for the "wrong" plug-in.
The page uses the wrong class ID and code for the QT plug-in.
Your page uses a .mov file but uses a class ID of:

And a plug in download for Macromedia.
A .mov file would use a class ID of:

Html-code for showing cover of current issue?

Has anyone an example of a simple html-code for showing the latest issue?
All I need is the adress to the image-file.

There was a problem like that in the WYSIWYG before 7.0.2 as
described in Using RH7 on my site. However, that was local and the
patch fixed it.
I had a completely different problem a while back but wonder
if the solution might work. Speak to your web guys and suggest
this.
Add the AddDefaultCharset utf-8 directive to either the
Apache config or the site .htaccess file
It's a long shot. I don't know what other effects it might
have on your server but the web guys should.

HT201177 I can't play videos on the web - they just stall - stop and start.

when I am playing videos on the web, Vimeo for example, they play for about one or two seconds and stall. Then they play another one or two seconds and so on for the entire video. I have no means of changing the download size in safari preferences. I am at a loss what to do. i know of no-one else with this difficulty and the Microsoft laptop on the same broadband router dos not have this problem.

Empty the Cache, and you can also try the RE-SET Safari option from the menu-bar.
Let us know if anything changes.
