Can you post a link to your page?

    i tryed chown to root:root and http:http, and chmod rwx for group user and other, i dont think it is a permission problem.

    ; By default the status page output is formatted as text/plain. Passing either
    ; 'html', 'xml' or 'json' in the query string will return the corresponding

    ; http://www.foo.bar/status
    ; http://www.foo.bar/status?json
    ; http://www.foo.bar/status?html
    ; http://www.foo.bar/status?xml

    ; request URI - the request URI with the query string;
    ; content length - the content length of the request (only with POST);
    ; user - the user (PHP_AUTH_USER) (or '-' if not set);
    ; script - the main script called (or '-' if not set);
    ; last request cpu - the %cpu the last request consumed
    ; it's always 0 if the process is not in Idle state
    ; because CPU calculation is done when the request
    ; processing has terminated;
    ; last request memory - the max amount of memory the last request consumed
    ; it's always 0 if the process is not in Idle state
    ; because memory calculation is done when the request

    php.ini
    [PHP]
    ; About php.ini ;
    ; PHP's initialization file, generally called php.ini, is responsible for
    ; configuring many of the aspects of PHP's behavior.
    ; PHP attempts to find and load this configuration from a number of locations.
    ; The following is a summary of its search order:
    ; 1. SAPI module specific location.
    ; 2. The PHPRC environment variable. (As of PHP 5.2.0)
    ; 3. A number of predefined registry keys on Windows (As of PHP 5.2.0)
    ; 4. Current working directory (except CLI)
    ; 5. The web server's directory (for SAPI modules), or directory of PHP
    ; (otherwise in Windows)
    ; 6. The directory from the --with-config-file-path compile time option, or the
    ; Windows directory (C:\windows or C:\winnt)
    ; See the PHP docs for more specific information.
    ; http://php.net/configuration.file
    ; The syntax of the file is extremely simple. Whitespace and lines
    ; beginning with a semicolon are silently ignored (as you probably guessed).
    ; Section headers (e.g. [Foo]) are also silently ignored, even though
    ; they might mean something in the future.
    ; Directives following the section heading [PATH=/www/mysite] only
    ; apply to PHP files in the /www/mysite directory. Directives
    ; following the section heading [HOST=www.example.com] only apply to
    ; PHP files served from www.example.com. Directives set in these
    ; special sections cannot be overridden by user-defined INI files or
    ; at runtime. Currently, [PATH=] and [HOST=] sections only work under
    ; CGI/FastCGI.
    ; http://php.net/ini.sections
    ; Directives are specified using the following syntax:
    ; directive = value
    ; Directive names are *case sensitive* - foo=bar is different from FOO=bar.
    ; Directives are variables used to configure PHP or PHP extensions.
    ; There is no name validation. If PHP can't find an expected
    ; directive because it is not set or is mistyped, a default value will be used.
    ; The value can be a string, a number, a PHP constant (e.g. E_ALL or M_PI), one
    ; of the INI constants (On, Off, True, False, Yes, No and None) or an expression
    ; (e.g. E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE), a quoted string ("bar"), or a reference to a
    ; previously set variable or directive (e.g. ${foo})
    ; Expressions in the INI file are limited to bitwise operators and parentheses:
    ; | bitwise OR
    ; ^ bitwise XOR
    ; & bitwise AND
    ; ~ bitwise NOT
    ; ! boolean NOT
    ; Boolean flags can be turned on using the values 1, On, True or Yes.
    ; They can be turned off using the values 0, Off, False or No.
    ; An empty string can be denoted by simply not writing anything after the equal
    ; sign, or by using the None keyword:
    ; foo = ; sets foo to an empty string
    ; foo = None ; sets foo to an empty string
    ; foo = "None" ; sets foo to the string 'None'
    ; If you use constants in your value, and these constants belong to a
    ; dynamically loaded extension (either a PHP extension or a Zend extension),
    ; you may only use these constants *after* the line that loads the extension.
    ; About this file ;
    ; PHP comes packaged with two INI files. One that is recommended to be used
    ; in production environments and one that is recommended to be used in
    ; development environments.
    ; php.ini-production contains settings which hold security, performance and
    ; best practices at its core. But please be aware, these settings may break
    ; compatibility with older or less security conscience applications. We
    ; recommending using the production ini in production and testing environments.
    ; php.ini-development is very similar to its production variant, except it's
    ; much more verbose when it comes to errors. We recommending using the
    ; development version only in development environments as errors shown to
    ; application users can inadvertently leak otherwise secure information.
    ; Quick Reference ;
    ; The following are all the settings which are different in either the production
    ; or development versions of the INIs with respect to PHP's default behavior.
    ; Please see the actual settings later in the document for more details as to why
    ; we recommend these changes in PHP's behavior.

    ; Output buffering is a mechanism for controlling how much output data
    ; (excluding headers and cookies) PHP should keep internally before pushing that
    ; data to the client. If your application's output exceeds this setting, PHP
    ; will send that data in chunks of roughly the size you specify.
    ; Turning on this setting and managing its maximum buffer size can yield some
    ; interesting side-effects depending on your application and web server.
    ; You may be able to send headers and cookies after you've already sent output
    ; through print or echo. You also may see performance benefits if your server is
    ; emitting less packets due to buffered output versus PHP streaming the output

    ; some common settings and their meanings.
    ; By default, PHP is set to take action on all errors, notices and warnings EXCEPT
    ; those related to E_NOTICE and E_STRICT, which together cover best practices and
    ; recommended coding standards in PHP. For performance reasons, this is the

    ; Note: The php.ini-development file has this setting as E_ALL. This
    ; means it pretty much reports everything which is exactly what you want during
    ; development and early testing.
    ; Error Level Constants:
    ; E_ALL - All errors and warnings (includes E_STRICT as of PHP 5.4.0)
    ; E_ERROR - fatal run-time errors
    ; E_RECOVERABLE_ERROR - almost fatal run-time errors
    ; E_WARNING - run-time warnings (non-fatal errors)
    ; E_PARSE - compile-time parse errors
    ; E_NOTICE - run-time notices (these are warnings which often result
    ; from a bug in your code, but it's possible that it was
    ; intentional (e.g., using an uninitialized variable and
    ; relying on the fact it's automatically initialized to an
    ; empty string)
    ; E_STRICT - run-time notices, enable to have PHP suggest changes
    ; to your code which will ensure the best interoperability
    ; and forward compatibility of your code
    ; E_CORE_ERROR - fatal errors that occur during PHP's initial startup
    ; E_CORE_WARNING - warnings (non-fatal errors) that occur during PHP's
    ; initial startup
    ; E_COMPILE_ERROR - fatal compile-time errors
    ; E_COMPILE_WARNING - compile-time warnings (non-fatal errors)
    ; E_USER_ERROR - user-generated error message
    ; E_USER_WARNING - user-generated warning message
    ; E_USER_NOTICE - user-generated notice message
    ; E_DEPRECATED - warn about code that will not work in future versions
    ; of PHP
    ; E_USER_DEPRECATED - user-generated deprecation warnings
    ; Common Values:

  • Contact form-checkbox PHP coding doesnt work

    I am a beginner to web page design so i would be grateful if you can explain to me what PHP coding i would need for 'Checkbox' and where to place it in the PHP coding below. I can submit the form to my email with all the headings and the filled in forms with checkbox Yes or No.
    Only problem i have is that part of the check box info appear right at the top of the email message rather than the 'Name', 'Tel', 'Email' etc..Another half of the checkbox appear where it suppose to be wih double heading as shown below. I would also like to remove the <br> from the email message. Can you also tell me how to change the colour for heading so its clear.
    I have marked the checkbox code in BLUE for both HTML and PHP coding below. Sorry for the long coding. Look forward to hearing from someone. Much appreciated.

    Dear David
    Thank you so much for the clear explanation. I have been using Lynda.com Dreamweaver CS5 tutorial. I found the coding for checkbox through search and added to the coding from Lynda.com tutorial.
    I made few changes to the coding by removing:
    $msg = "$rearExt<br>\r\n$sideExt<br>\r\n$twoStoreyRear<br>\r\n
              $twoStoreySide<br>\r\n$loft<br>\r\n$newBuild<br>\r\n$flat<br>\r\n$other\r\n";
    as the email message shows the results from the checkbox twice.
    I also removed the <br> from:
    $body = "Name: $name<br>\r\n
              Email: $email<br>\r\n
              Contact No: $contact_number<br>\r\n
             Other: $other\r\n

  • Create complex site with no HTML/PHP knowledge {subject edited by moderator}

    I have zero knowledge about web design, i want to create a website that would feature thousands of users creating accounts and writing articles, and for that i think i need to create it using php language, my question is how can i learn it, both the basics,language and how to do it step by step on DW?

    Contact Facebook and ask their team of web developers how they do it.   Seriously, this is no project for a rank beginner.  Without advanced coding skills and a very good grasp of web server security, you are in over your head.  DW is a tool.  It's only as good as the person using it.

  • Coding problem with my website

    On my website, rockycapellaprods.com, I have a coding problem with the labeling of the videos as well as the videos playing on the website. Everything works great on the IWEB site, but as I loaded the information on the GoDaddy hosting site, several pages have a problem with the playing the videos and having several of the images moving onto the written areas. Do you have any solutions so the videos and the images stay on the website where I set them up?

    this would be a problem with style sheets or CSS and common with iFrames. If you have a fixed width for the body on your page template, you will have varying results of layout when you view the page.
    If you have your editor stretched to a certain width across your screen, you will likely be able to layout all your text blocks and objects into the places you want which may or may not ignore the "width" restrictions of the body. when you upload the site and open it in a browser, the layout could change because of the width restrictions in the HTML or CSS code and thus "wrap" to the next line.
    THe solution is to be familiar with static and fixed positioning of text and objects within your page. Be familiar with text that wraps around images, or images placed within a text box, etc. How your images and text react in relation to each other is all part of the code for the objects, text, and body parameters combined.
    I'm sorry there isnt a fast fix for this, and it would literally be an extended lesson posted here online to take you thru understanding the code, how it works, what its affects are, style sheets, template restrictions and so on. One thing you can do is stretch the browser window open more to see if your objects align themselves similar to what you saw in iWeb editor. if it does, your template is set to "percentage of page width" for the body of the page.

  • Coding Problem 6 Now Defined in Scripting Languages/Bioinformatics WIKI

    In the "Scripting Languages and Bioinformatics" WIKI, I have completed a new page here:
    https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EmTech/Bio-InformaticBasicsPartII-AlignmentToolsforRelatingProteinGenestoProteinPrimaryStructures
    and also defined Coding Problem 6 at the end of this page.
    This problem involves scripting an interactive session with a web site and parsing what the web site returns at various points duing the session.
    Am looking foward to a script that solves this problem, if anyone feels like spending the time to do it.

  • HTML PHP editor

    What's a good html php text editor? TextEdit has trouble opening files with those extensions.

    Joseph,
    If you're just looking to make a few quick changes to a couple files and don't want to buy software, TextEdit can work. Open the TextEdit application, go to the preferences, select the "Open and Save" pane, and then check the item "Ignore rich text commands in HTML files". Close the preferencs dialog.
    This will basically tell TextEdit to diplay the source code/markup in HTML files, but for some reason I can't seem to get this preference to stick from one session to the next. So without closing the TextEdit application, open the HTML or PHP file you wish to edit by right-clicking or control-clicking on the file and choosing "Open With > TextEdit".
    If you're looking for features, the previous poster is correct that BBEdit is the industry standard for hand-coding websites on Macs.

  • Web files (html, php, css ...) slow to update

    I am web developer.
    I have always worked in mac, but when I upgraded to Mavericks began to have a serious problem.
    When I edit a web archive (such as html, php or css) and I open it in the browser, I visualize an old version. For the latest updates, you must spend a period of time (2 to 3 minutes).
    It happens with web server (MAMP) or HTML files. Any browser.
    I'm desperate because my work is very slow.
    thank you very much

    Here is how I access my local wordpress site using mamp
    http://localhost:8888/ub-new/
    And here is how I access it on ampps:
    http://localhost/ub-new/
    They are both very slow.
    Here is what I have inside /etc/hosts
    # Host Database
    # localhost is used to configure the loopback interface
    # when the system is booting.  Do not change this entry.
    127.0.0.1 localhost

  • Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.

    Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.
    I have created the html, JavaScript, css file using the output function in Bridge CS6, which nicely generates the coding, pages, folders and files. I can edit the html files such as gallery title, name, etc., in Dreamweaver CS6 just fine and preview them in a selected browser (both chrome and IE) and everything works fine.
    When I ftp upload the files and directories into my hosting account (Go Daddy), the images do not show up. The file table appears but the thumbs images does not appear and when selected to preview the larger image, it does not appear either. I have not altered the file structure at all. Go Daddy says it is a coding issue, but I cannot fine any errors.
    Have you seen this issue before? All Adobe help research have failed. Any suggestions??

    Have you asked on Go Daddy site for help in uploading Adobe Bridge script?  Just to say it is coding is not helpful.

  • Basic .php coding question

    Please have mercy on this utter noob with .php coding.
    Situation:
    People submit their data forms, which I receive like this:
    These include a results file, here called 'Output.txt' which is required and optionally include 'Output-MPE.txt'.
    When I receive both files, the last five fields are extracted from both these files. To achieve that I use the following code:
    function makeupFiveFieldValues( $recordID ){
        if( !isset($_FILES) )
            return ;
        $resultFile = $_FILES[ "field_27" ][ "tmp_name" ] ;
        $mpeFile    = $_FILES[ "field_28" ][ "tmp_name" ] ;
        if( is_uploaded_file( $resultFile ) && is_uploaded_file( $mpeFile )  ) {
            $line = join("",file($resultFile));
            list( $io, $dvd, $h264, $mpeOn ) = split(',',str_replace('"','', $line));
            $line = join("",file($mpeFile));
            list( $io, $dvd, $h264, $mpeOff ) = split(',',str_replace('"','', $line));
            $_POST['field_29'] = $io;
            $_POST['field_30'] = $dvd;
            $_POST['field_31'] = $h264;
            $_POST['field_32'] = $mpeOn;
            $_POST['field_33'] = $mpeOff;
    However:
    When I only receive 'Output.txt' and not 'Output-MPE.txt', this code does not extract the correct data from the first file and shows up like this:
    Being an utter noob with .php coding, I can only assume this is caused by the statement:
        if( is_uploaded_file( $resultFile ) && is_uploaded_file( $mpeFile )  )
    which apparently assumes both files need to be submitted. But if only 'Output.txt' has been submitted, it still needs to extract the first 4 values from the submitted file. How do I need to change the code?

    If your assumption is correct, try changing the && to ||, this changes it from "and" to "or"

  • Aus einer HTML/PHP Datei eine PDF erstellen

    Hallo Zusammen,

  • Three new bioinformatic coding problems now in WIKI (all require regex)

    At the bottom of this page:
    https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EmTech/Bio-InformaticBasicsInRelationtoScriptingLanguages
    I've defined three new bioinformatic coding problems (Problems 3a-c).
    These all involve regex parsing in one way or another and are therefore a lot more interesting than the first two problems I've presented.
    I'm hoping that Anton will continue to knock out solutions, and that others will feel challenged enough to join him.

    Anton -
    I am way impressed - not just by your code and how fast you produced it, but also by the speed with which you grasped the STRIDE documentation and put it to very good use.
    Regarding the question you ask at the very end - this question goes to the heart of why protein tertiary structure (the actual 3-dimensional shape of one chain of a protein) is so hard to predict, and why governments, universities, and pharma are throwing so much money at it.
    If protein primary and secondary structure were many-to-one, prediction of protein tertiary strructure would be a lot lot simpler.  (For example, if "VVAY" and all "similar" primary structure subsequences mapped to the same secondary structure.)
    But the mapping is, unfortunately, many-to-many because the amino acids (AAs) in a primary structure chain always bond the same way - the COOH (carboxy) of one  AA bonds to the HN (amino) of the next one to produce C-N with the OH and H going away to make a water moleculre ... COOH - HN ---> C-N + H20.
    And as pointed out by Linus Pauling (the discoverer of protein secondary structure), the C-N bond can take two forms:
    a) one that is llkely to force the two amino acids to become HH (part of a helix)
    b) one that is likely to force the two amino acids to become EE (part of a "stand")
    You may be surprised to find out that even primary structure subsequences of six amino acids can wind up as different secondary structures - not always "H" vs "E", the variants might be
    E TT H
    H TT E
    EEE HH
    HH EEE
    etc.
    Anyway, thanks a lot for what you've done here.
    If you decide to stay involved a little longer, you will very soon be able to understand why there may be real promise in the approach to protein structure that is being taken here:
    http://strucclue.ornl.gov
    (This is why I want to get SAP interested in the vertical bioinformatic sector - you can see why an integrated IDE with a robust DB is so important.)
    BTW, the site mentions Dr. Arthur Lesk as a team member.  Arthur is considered one of the fathers of what is called "structural alignment" (as opposed to pure sequence alignment.)
    If you Google him, you'll see that he has written many many books on bioinformatics - all worth purchasing if you're going to become involved in this area.  Arthur was at Cambridge (MRC) until recently, when he reached mandatory EU retirement age and took a position at Penn State here in the US.

  • How create pdf using HTML+PHP+FDF

    Hi! Some time ago I wanted to prevent my pdf file of distribution (copy) to other computers. It turned out that this is impossible (without DRM). Thus I came up with the idea - to generate pdf using HTML+PHP+FDF. I created a PDF template using Acrobat Pro. Access to the site with a generator forms will be payable.
    I want to do this:
    1. the customer fills out a form on the page
    2. Customer clicks the "Generate" and then opens a pdf file in the browser ready for printing
    3. Can I in this situation protect the file that a client could not change the form data?
    If the file after generating the client will be able to download the file to your hard disk and write data to a form - this is no security. Is it possible (after generating) automatically protect a file against modification?
    Sincerely
    Matthew from Poland
    PS. I'm sorry for my english:)

    This is not possible with FDF and PDF template.
