How to enable this tags in java. What kind of API's i need to use for it.
Hope my question is clear to all of you.
Any pointers in this regard will be very helpful.
Thanks,

I am trying to send an email through my java code.No problem. As long as you construct the message correctly it should work.
I have set the content type of email to html. It is working fine for the html tags like <tm>,<head>,<table>,<td> etc but it is not working for the tabs whic set color ,border etc. <font color=#fffd"dd> ,<table border ="10"> etcSo you haven't constructed them correctly.
How to enable this tags in java.Java neither knows nor cares what is in a message body that it is sending. It is up to you.
What kind of API's i need to use for it.I doubt that you need any APIs. Just construct the HTML correctly.
Hope my question is clear to all of you.It's not, because the problem has nothing to do with Java and everything to do with your programming.

  • How to get the source code of an HTML page in Text file Through java?

    How to get the source code of an HTML page in Text file Through java?
    I am coding an application.one module of that application is given below:
    The first part of the application is to connect our application to the existing HTML form.
    This module would make a connection with the HTML page. The HTML page contains the coding for the Form with various elements. The form may be a simple form with one or two fields or a complex one like the form for registering for a new Bank Account or new email account.
    The module will first connect through the HTML page and will fetch the HTML code into a Text File so that the code can be further processed.
    Could any body provide coding hint for that

    You're welcome. How about awarding them duke stars?

  • Problems with compressed words in emails sent through Outlook in Office for Mac 2011

    I have had problems with sending emails through Outlook both when:
    1) I copied text from a Word document and pasted into an email.
    2) I shared as HTML and sent an email.
    The problem I experience is that emails are received with random spaces dropped, such that words get merged together.
    I have spoken with Microsoft and have been told that problems with the copy and paste from Word into Outlook is a known issue.
    However, I have been told that I should be able to "Share as an HTML" in an email without issue. However, the very same problem exists.
    Now I am told that this may be a problem with my documents. However, I have had a colleague use my docs in the same way in Outlook on his PC without a problem. The other possibility I am told is that possibly I have a problem with my OS.
    Have others expererienced the same problem?

    Is your Outlook window formatted as HTML or text only? A word file has formatted text. If you want to copy only the text from your Word file, you should make a detour over a TextEdit window, or if you have BBEdit like follows:
    Copy your Word text, paste it into a TextEdit window - in this window you have to make a command first SHIFT + COMMAND + T if you have a window allowing formatting ("rich text"). Copy it once again - all the Meta formatting from Word are eliminated now! - and paste the text into your Outlook Window.
    If you want to send an HMTL Email, I am not sure, whether a copy and paste between Word and Outlook will work. This would mean, that the copy and paste should transform the Word-formatting into HTML-formatting fit for Outlook. Perhaps some others could answer this question.

  • Emails sent through Mail 7.0 on Mac won't appear in the Sent folder in the Yahoo web browser or the Mail app for iPad.

    It seems that emails I send via Mail on my mac are stored only in Mail's Sent folder. These emails don't appear in the sent folder of Yahoo web browser, iPad Mail app, or the Y! Mail android app..
    I've tested to see whether my emails are actually sending properly, and they are. I just want to know why the Sent messages on my mac aren't appearing anywhere else. I've read similar issues to this but haven't yet found a reason or solution.
    Thanks in advance

    [edit] I dragged the email I sent through the MBP Mail app (under MAILBOXES > Sent > Yahoo!) to the highlighted Sent folder (YAHOO! > Sent), and now it shows up on all Yahoo Sent folders (iPad app, web browser, phone app). Not entirely solved the issue but will use web browser to sent future emails to keep everything in sync.

  • How to turn of HTML tags in Email Messages?

    My BB8830 World Edition on Verizon continues to show full html tags - e.g. <http://www.oracle.com/dm/global/opn.gif> - instead of just the link, which makes any email with links extremely difficult to read as the full html tags display in the middle of a sentence or para.
    Any idea how to turn this off?

    You'll have to wait for Verizon to release OS 4.5 for your device.  Once you upgrade your device, you will be able to view HTML email.
    There are also third party packages (that you'd have to pay for) available to read HTML email, but the OS should be available within the next few months.  Then again it is Verizon, and they tend to drag their heels on updates, so....

  • Tracking emails sent through SAP using Outlook Integration

    Hello experts,
    I have a question regarding Outlook Integration.
    Can emails through SAP be tracked using SAP?
    The customer is using Outlook Integration. When an email (containing an invoice for example) is sent through, the email is stored in the users sent folder in Outlook.
    Is there a way that SAP can track all sent emails through SAP through an activity or some other feature?
    Thank you,
    Andy

    Hi Guest 47,
    Have you found any solution to your problem ? If yes, please let me know. I would be really thankful.

  • HTML tag strip (email parsing use case)

    Have you guys come across the requirements of parsing a HTML message, lets say an email, and convert into text?
    The most common use case would be email parsing, remove all the HTML tags and use as string.
    It has to remove the entire tags, with attributes, for example tables, with TRs and TDs with properties, must be removed. The BR converted into carriage return, etc?
    Cheers,
    Renato Fichmann

    Derek,
    In my situation, I'm triggering a process from an email. I need to extract information out of this email but it's not formatted as XHTML. I don't know there's an easy way to preprocess the email first before trying to disect it.
    I'm working on an alternative solution but that relys on the people sending me the email to grant direct access to their systems.
    Hopefully there'll be some funky string functions like this in upcoming releases??

  • Email sent through Exchange account is garbled in sent items folder

    Hi,
    I sent several test messages from my iPhone, using the Exchange account at work (I have Active Sync enabled through AT&T) to my personal Gmail account. The mail received on my Gmail account appears jut fine. The copy delivered to my Sent Items folder is fine when viewed from the iPhone, but screwed up when viewed in Entourage. I think the problem is a illegal blank line. To wit, this is what showed up in my Sent Items folder when I sent a short test message:

    In a legally formatted message, the body starts after the first blank line which, in this example, means that all the rest of the normative headers appear as the message. This also means that any MIME attachments show up simply as Base64 encoded text.
    Has anyone else seen this problem and discovered how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Rob

    This is an Entourage specific issue -- curse you Microsoft

  • HTML Toolbar in Email Compose with Java WebDynPro

    Hi Friends,
    We are working on a email functionality requirement and we are having a requirement to add a toolbar in the Email Compose Box. For ex. that toolbar contains Bold, Italic, Underline, and other HTML stuff. i.e. to decorate the text in compose box with HTML features.
    but we dont have any standard UI element in Java webdynpro to use.
    Can anyone suggest me the solution or if any one come across with such scenarios.
    Thank you very much in advance.

    Hello Srikanth
    Please refer to this featured <a href="/people/anilkumar.vippagunta2/blog/2007/02/01/office-control-in-webdynpro--i. Though this is not the direct solution to your problem, but I think you can take the hint to develop your compose box with toolbar containing different menus. Please have a look at the final application showcased in the weblog which u can embed in your compose- box. I hope you are getting me.

    does anyone know how to embed it?

  • HTML tags in email

    Hello,
    I am trying to send html in email but instead of html I just get plain text.
    I am trying to send this string <html><body><p>Hello</p></body></html>I have tried to set content of the email to "text/html" as well as to "text/html; charset=\"ISO-8859-1\"".
    I am viewing this email in Outlook 2007
    Here is the method which sends the email.
    public void sendMail(String fromEmail, String toEmail, String subject, String messageBody)
    throws MessagingException {
    Properties props = System.getProperties();
    props.put("mail.smtp.host", host);
    Session session = Session.getDefaultInstance(props, null);
    MimeMessage message = new MimeMessage(session);
    message.setContent(messageBody.toString(), "text/html");
    //    message.setContent(messageBody, "text/html; charset=\"ISO-8859-1\"");
    message.setFrom(new InternetAddress(fromEmail));
    message.addRecipient(Message.RecipientType.TO,
    new InternetAddress(toEmail));
    message.setSubject(subject);
    message.setText(messageBody);
    Transport.send(message);
    }

    bshannon wrote:Your setText call is overriding your setContent call.
    Get rid of the setContent call and use
    message.setText(messageBody, "iso-8859-1", "html");You were right my setContent call was overriden by setText. As soon as I moved it just before send call. It worked. The only question I have now why did you suggest to get rid off setContent and to use setText instead ? What's the difference ?
    Thanks

  • Change subject line of Email sent through "spool recipient functionality".

    A batch job creates a spool, which is send through Email using spool recipient functionality. The subject line of the Email is as follows
    "Job<job name>, Step <step no.>".
    Is it possible to change the subject line of the Email?
    Any pointers on this would be highly appreciated.

    check the program name for job.
    If the program is Custom program(starting with Z or Y)  then you can easily change subject line of email.
    If it is standard program then we have to look for alter path.

  • Email sending through java callout in osb

    In osb -- proxy service -- service callout -- i am getting a value using dbadapter select
    Then i am using if then condition to perform some operations
    After this step i need to notify this value to a user saying ... the account balance is this much
    In our project already there is a java callout program to send emails to the concerned people ... it is used to notify some other thing like reprocessing activity etc., which was previously developed.
    If i want to use that java callout option to send emails ... do i need to write a new java method and use that class file in this email sending java program and route my program to this service
    Will this work ?
    Thanks,
    Rahul

    do i need to write a new java method and use that class file in this email sending java program and route my program to this serviceYou may directly re-use that existing Java callout if it exposes a static method for starting execution. If it does not expose a static method, then you may write your own class which exposes a static method to be called by OSB, and from that method you may invoke your existing Java callout.

  • How do I fix Multiple emails sent through camera

    i have the 3G iphone. when i take a picture with my phone and then email it, the recipient receives it multiple times. i just tried sending myself a picture and i received it twice. i am not connected to the 3G network when sending. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, did you fix it and how?

    What type of email account are you using? Have you contacted your provider to find out if there are any size limitations to sending attachments? Usually this behavior is on the server side.
