HTMLB: Colspan in formLayoutCell is not working
Hi,
I'm having a huge problem: it seems like the attribute "Colspan" of the tag formLayoutCell is not working properly.
I want to build a very simple page which has 2 rows. 1st row has 9 cells, 2nd row has 3 cells, each with colspan=3. It should look like this:

I used the following code which is not working. In the second row it only shows the first cell, it looks like this:

I need to group some logicaly related elements in the BSP page, i tried using the BSP HTMLB element GROUP , but for some reason it does not make any difference in the BSP page.I have seen the HTMLB_SAMPLES and SBSPEXT_HTMLB applications and tried using the same logic......but not working.

if I understand, you´re trying to group rows in your grid control and NOT related elements (like radiobuttons), as stated. That´s why it does not work with <htmlb:group>.
I assume you have a code like this:

If statement within a view is not working correctly ?

maybe i am wrong but i think the if statement within a view is not working correctly. See code down below.
I would like to use the Hallo World depending on the page attribute isFrame with or without all the neccessary html tags. Therefore i have embedded the htmlb tags in an if statement. But for any reason if isframe is initial it isn't working. It would be great if anybody could help me.

The short answer: your example is <b>NOT</b> going to work. The long answer will probably 5 pages to describe. So first let me rewrite the example so that it could work, and then give a short version of the long answer. Do not be disappointed if it is not totally clear. It is rather complicated. (See the nice form of IF statements that are possible since 620.)

So why does your example not work? Let us start with a simple tag:

Now, for each tag, we have effectively the opening part (<htmlb:page>), an optional body, and then the closing part (</htmlb:page>). We are now at the level of the BSP runtime processing one tag. What the runtime does not know, is whether the tag wants to process its body or not. Each tag can decide dynamically at runtime whether the body should be processed. So the BSP compiler generates the following code:
DATA: tag TYPE REF TO cl_htmlb_page.
CREATE OBJECT tag.
tag->title = 'Top Level Navigation view'.
IF tag->DO_AT_BEGINNING( ) = CONTINUE.
ENDIF.
tag->DO_AT_END( ).
You should actually just debug your BSP code at ABAP level, and then you will immediately see all of this. Now, let us mix in your example with our code generation. First you simplified example:

You can see that your ENDIF statements are closing IF blocks generated by the BSP compiler. Such a nesting will not work. This is a very short form of the problem, there are a number of variations, and different types of the same problem.
The only way to solve this problem, is probably to put the body into a page fragment and include it like I did above with the duplicate HelloWorld strings. But this duplicates source code. Better is to put body onto a view, that can be processed as required.

This content editor webpart not working in sharepoint page. Once I checked out to the page then chart is working. When i checkedin function not get called. How to fix this?
THanks in advance!In SharePoint 2013, sp.js and sp.runtime.js does not load on the page in published mode. You need to explicitly load these files. You can check using IE developer tools in the Script section that in published mode these files are missing.
In order to fix this issue explictly refer these two js files on your page.

JNLP - Swing application compiled in jdk1.5 not working in jdk1.6
I have one swing application, compiled in jdk 1.5 and deployed in JNLP with jdk 1.5. When client machine try to access the application and having jre 1.5 then it works fine. but if client machine having jre 1.6 or version greater than 1.5 then application does not work properly.
Please help me, i got stuck and not able to solve the problem.

we have deployed application in tomcat and changed the home page of tomcat to our application home page(html page). and url is http://10.1.1.145:8080/
Application home page contain link to jnlp. so whenever user click on link (in home page) then jnlp will execute and launch the swing application.

I am trying to add lightbox widget to my site but its not working NEED HELP
i can create the light box widget as a new page but when i paste the codes into the actual site it will not work and the images will not enlarge
what or where did i go wrong. This is all the codes for the site including the lightbox widget. i can use all the help i can get even if some one or anyone

In AJAX4JSF, reRender is not working properly.
Hi,
I am using JSF with ajax4jsf version 1.0.2.
I am having the following jsf page and the corresponding bean class. If bean throws any error message, the javascript method "showErrorMsg" is getting called, but, "userProfoileErrMsg" is always empty. The same logic worked in one page, but not working here. Can somebody tell why this is not working.
What I wanted to do is once an exception is thrown by the backend, I will catch that error in the bean class and take the error message from that exception and display that to the user using AJAX.
I have a doubt here. How does reRender or targetid work in this case?

Spry Menu not working correctly
Hopefully this is the right part of the forum to post this question, if not, I apologize.
I have created a site in dreamweaver and am using a single Spry Menu Bar. I have read tons of forum postings about Drop down menus not working in IE, however, mine don't work in any browser or in the Live View either. I have a feeling it has something to do with either the div containing the menu bar or the sizing, but I can't tell. Please help.

HTML multipart form is not working in jsp page

i have jsp page, has a HTML from with file upload field , when i click the send button , nothing happened as if the button did not submit the form. ie the message at line 12 is not printed out.

Text in Spry Slideshow, not working in Explorer.
Hi,
I have attempted to search for a similar topic, but am not able to find anything.
I have input the spry slideshow into my page, and it is fully functional for safari, chrome, firefox, but seems like it is only not working in IE.
The text that is supposed to be showing up to the right of the images is not showing with IE.
I had read a couple things on opacity, or such but am not sure if it applies to the text as well.

SubmitonEnter is not working in safari
Hi,
I have a BSP application which follows MVC pattern and in view I have Htmlb input field code which has submitonEnter="X". If user enters the value and hit Enter button it should go to DO Handle Event. This perfectly works in IE. But in Safari and Chrome its not working.
Can anyone help how to achieve hit Enter function for an HTMLB Inputfield for Chrome anf Safari browser.

There are some limitations coming from BSP Design:
- Press Enter on inputfield is not working in Design2008, Design2008 is based on U(nified)R(endering). UR does not support this functionality.
- With Design 2008 with is part of NW 7.02 and higher, Safari 4.05 and higher is supported on Apple MacOS 10.5 and higher.

Submit buttons not working....:o( - ANY IDEAS??
okay i got a form - ApplicantForm.jsp and that has two buttons on it...
'ACCEPT' and 'REJECT'
the next page - CurrentStatus.jsp - should be brought up but its just not working!
whenever a button is pressed a blank screen with just the buttons is being brought up and no changes are being made to the database.
what needs to happen is that it performs the little calculation - and the updates the value in the database...here's the code

Ajax4jsf rerender not working properly.
Hi,
I am using ajax4jsf, version 1.0.2 in my project.
I am having the following jsf page and the corresponding bean class. If bean throws any error message, the javascript method "showErrorMsg" is getting called, but, "userProfoileErrMsg" is always empty. The same logic worked in other page, but not working here. Can somebody tell why this is not working.
