HTTP Communnication Channel : XML part is missing

Hello,
We are setting up an interface starting from a file towards a HTTP post.
I'm new to the HTTP communication channel.
Technically everything is working.
The interface is triggered fine, and we see that a HTTP post is carried out.
However: we are using 'prolog' and epilog' in our communication channel.
When we look in the log of the server were the HTTP post was done, we see that the XML part ( so let's say the MT of the interface) is missing.
We only see the prolog and epilog.
The XML should be part of the URL that is send to the server
Do we have to use special kind of placeholders in de epilog part of the communication channel ?
Any ideas ?

Prolog and Epilog is used to form the HTTP Body as what is seen in the link given by the poster above.
The XML should be part of the URL that is send to the server
If you will do this, make sure that the URL formed is less than or equal to the 200 character limit that SAP has. It is better just to have the XML Payload in the HTTP Body.

Well, your service is handled by an Authorized Apple Service Center. If they refuse to handle the claim, that is well within their rights. Apple as well could void a claim under the same circumstances. I'm not saying that you did or did not modify the device, but you could try and talk to a supervisor there and make another request. You can also try and contact Apple by obtaining a number with this support document and describe your problem. http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

Org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Missing whitespace before SYSTEM literal URI

I've written a Java web service using WLW7.0.1. I now want to test it using SOAP
RPC from a Java client. Having written the client, I get a "org.xml.sax.SAXParseException:
Missing whitespace before SYSTEM literal URI" exception when I run it.
Has anyone else come across this exception, or am I missing something glaringly
obvious?!!!

Pages Error "The required index.xml file is missing."

When I try to open an existing Pages File by double clicking on the name in Finder (default application is Pages), I get the error message "The required index.xml file is missing."
If I select the pages file, then use Open With / Pages App (default), the file opens fine with no errors.
Is there some reason this is happening and is there a fix available. This error started after I upgraded to Mavericks, then upgraded to the latest version of Pages (5.1).

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5.1 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Anyone having a problem with the latest number software. Docs do not open Invalid. The index .xml file is missing?

I have been having problems since updating to the latest version of Numbers.
When I try to open files I am getting an error.
"The document “'13 Tax Prep .numbers” is invalid.
The index.xml file is missing."
Anyone else getting this message? Anyone know how to fix the issue?

Agreed on that part. But take it a step further. If Numbers 3.1 is asked to open an old document that is still in the old Numbers 2 format that relies on an index.xml file but Numbers 3.1 can't find the index.xml file (perhaps the document is corrupted) then how can Numbers 3.1 open the document and interpret it in order to convert it to the new format? My guess is that this a possible trigger for the 'index.xml missing' error message.

Using URL Parameters with HTTP Comms Channel

Hi,
I need to build a new interface (HTTP - RFC) which will use several URL parameters. I've created a HTTP communications channel and Sender Service and this works. I'm able to define several URL Parameters by checking 'Adapter-Sepcific Message Attributes' and then 'Apply URL Parameters' then specifying the individual parameters.
This is straight forward so far but in usual SAP fashion the documentation on HTTP Comms Channels and URL Parameters is non existent. My question is how do I use these parameters once they are passed. I need to use the values as input parameters for the RFC which means I'll need to map these in the Integration Repository I can't find anything on SDN or SAP help that answers the question.
I know I could include these values in the XML payload but that would mean my 'customer' would need to amend their application and I'd rather keep things as they are.

For each process template, you can define interactive or composite form reference objects that can optionally be executed at runtime.
To be able to see and execute the reference object at runtime, you must add an appropriate runtime view.
Prerequisites
You can only attach standalone interactive forms to a process. For more information, see Interactive Form Types.
Activities
To attach an interactive form to a process:
       1.      Open the gallery and select a process template. To open its design time, choose Open
       2.      To switch to edit mode, choose (Edit).
       3.      Open the Forms tab page.
       4.      Choose Add and select the type of reference object you want to add. You can choose between Callable Object and Development Object.
Browse and select the reference object, and choose Add once again.
       5.      Repeat step 4 to add more objects.
       6.      To define parameter mapping, select an entry and choose Map Parameters. Select a parameter from the left-hand table, and then select the parameter you want to map from the right-hand table. This groups the input parameters of the form reference object to the relevant input parameters of the process.
If the process does not define input parameters, you can set default values.
       7.      When you have defined the required mappings, choose Done.
       8.      Whenever a newer version of the form reference object is available, its status on the Forms tab page changes to (Deprecated). To update the object, select it from the list and choose Update. The status changes to (Active).
Parameter mapping is preserved unless the parameters of the new object version are different. In this case, you need to define mappings again.
       9.      Finally, choose (Save).

HTTP Comms Channel and UTL Parameters

I need to build a new interface (HTTP - RFC) which will use several URL parameters and I have a few questions
1) In my limited experience I know that HTTP scenarios don't usually require a comms channel. Like RFC it's built into the ABAP stack. If I create a HTTP comms channel for a particular service does that mean that any interface that is part of that specific service will use my HTTP comms channel? In other words all I need to do is create a comms channel for a particular service and it will be used.
and secondly....

OK, so once I create a sender agreement then my HTTP CC will be used? That makes sense.
In regards to the second question - As I said in my posting I want to use several URL parameters. For example sending the date as part of the URL rather than the payload. These parameters are specified as part of the comms channel but mapping the parameters to the RFC must be performed in the Integration Directory. So I'd like to understand how I do this.

i get this following error when i start the WL 7.0. The web application fails
to start but the ejbs are started properly. This is an example from the Monson
Haefel book, on the CMP: Entity bean relationships.
Can anybody tell me what is happening ??

For a local entity bean, i was using <ejb-ref> instead of <local-ejb-ref>
Once i changed that, it worlked.

I updated my OS a couple of weeks ago. Ever since then I receive the following message whenever I try to open a Pages document: The required index.xml file is missing. I first got this message when trying to open something sent from my iPad, that is why I updated. This morning I received the same message while trying to open a document created on this computer since it was updated. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Pages & Mavericks - "The required index.xml file is missing."

I upgraded to Mavericks a few days ago, and am using the same Pages '09 (4.0.3) I was using with Snow Leopard. I wrote a text document in Pages after I did the Mavericks upgrade, and now it won't open—I get the "required index.xml file is missing" message instead. I tried a workaround suggested in this forum of changing the ".pages" suffix to ".zip," then changing it back to ".pages," but that did no good. However, text documents saved before the upgrade to Mavericks seem to open OK.
How can I rescue my work?

Removed Records: PivotTable report from /xl/pivotTables/pivotTable1.xml part (PivotTable view)

I keep getting an error in Excel 2013 when using PowerPivot. Can someone please explain to me what this error means? I can't see that there is anything wrong with the underlying data, and the list of "removed data" is empty too...

Turns out it's a resource limitation in Excels chart rendering engine. If I filter the data model so that less rows are included in the PivotChart, the error goes away.

From where are you downloading these Premiere Elements 9 installation files....Adobe direct or from another web site?
Please start again. If you did not already, turn off the antivirus and firewall(s) before starting with File 1 and then File 2.
File 1 should be the Adobe Application Manager or its counterpart (.exe file), and File 2 should be the program (.7z file).
If you have not tried it already, consider the following link from which to obtain your installation files for 9.

These are tryout files into which you insert your purchased serial number during installation in order to make the files your copy.

Je souhaite générer des flux xml à partir du PDF digital de notre magazine (texte et images soit un flux par article) avec des balises simples (titre, sous titre, date auteur). Je sais que cela est possible avec Acrobat Pro mais je ne connais pas la procédure à suivre. Quelqu'un peut me renseigner ? Merci

Pourquoi ne pas plutôt faire ce balisage dans InDesign. Depuis Acrobat, vous pourrez certes exporter en XML votre contenu mais vous aurez sans doute des difficultés à relier les éléments entre eux d'un point de vue sémantique. Le balisage XML dans InDesign vous offrira de ce point de vue plus de contrôle. Attendu bien sûr que vous ayez produit vos documents sur InDesign.
