HTTP:RMI EJB Unable to create InterfaceType: com.evermind...SubordinateXA..
Hi,
I have deployed some ADF BC as EJB to oc4j1013 and want to access them
using the HTTP tunnel. It works perfectly within JDEV
1) Calling EJB withing JDEV with RMI
2) Calling EJB within JDEV through HTTP:ORMI
3) Calling EJB with RMI as JClient Web Start
But does not work as JClient Web Start and HTTP Tunneling with the stck below:
oracle.oc4j.rmi.OracleRemoteException: Unable to create InterfaceType: com.evermind.server.SubordinateXAResource

Please advise
Thanks

I did what Manu suggested with no success. Alternatively, I registered the driver jar with embedded OC4J preferences > global > libraries. Still does not work. Please, note, that when I run JUnit tests against my BC4J application modules with JDBC URL as connection type, everything works just fine. The problem comes while running the JSF application when the application module is using JDBC DataSource as connection type.

Com.evermind.server.rmi.OrionRemoteException
Hi I have a simple AXIS2 webservice and BPEL process deployed on the same box but on two seperate OC4J's.
I then have a remote junit test which I invoke from a remote client and it works fine.
I then take this test case into JunitPerf and create a simple load test.
Bearing in mind the services are simple and only return a boolean.
The load test works fine for five users, but when I try any more than 5, say 10 for instance I get this exception,

return suite;
public static Test testUnderLoad(){
Test factory = new TestFactory(TestFileCreateFromTemplate.class);
Test loadTest = new LoadTest(factory, users, iterations);
return loadTest;
Any ideas why this would be happening. I was thinking is there a maximum of concurrent users somewhere to be set in the enterprise manager.
I also checked my BPEL Console instances for this specific bpel process and they have been created for all 10 processes.Kumar,
From the stack trace you have posted, it appears that in line 87 of file "ResourceMgrEJB.java" (in package "com.dsr.sov02.resourcemgr.sf"), you are invoking a non-existent method. Have you looked at that line of the code?

I have a UserManager subclass which has to call session beans running in the application server.
I successfully got my BeanRemoteHome object, but when I call "home.create()", I get the following exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException

My code doesn't abort anything when this fails, it just goes on. Except for not being able to get this Remote interface in the UserManager class, my application starts up fine, and I'm able to perform operations.As an update, I just spent the last two hours writing a MDB to take the place of the session bean, in case that was the problem. I got past the obstacles that OC4J docs presented to me (specifying "jms-destination-type" instead of "destination-type", and neglecting to mention that you need to change the DOCTYPE to specify EJB 2.0 instead of 1.1) and successfully deployed an MDB, then I put some code into my UserManager to send a queue message instead of calling a session bean. When it finally got to the point of sending the message, I got the exception in the exact same place (this is from standalone OC4J, which is why the line number is 139 instead of 135):

ManjuHi!
I posted a TAR on metalink for this "read timed out" problem. This is the answer I got:
apparently the messages that you listed seem refer to a problem in reading request data from the client - so the HttpIOException is triggered.
I have made a little research on HttpIOException in request-reading context. There are only
two situations in which HttpIOException can be raised without an causing IOExce
ption, and I think none of them applies. So we'd have some kind of IOException t
hat causes the HttpIOException. It might well be a SocketException, because the
text "Read timed out" is as far as I know the standard text for SocketException
if the socket's SoTimeout has been reached.
In fact there is a configuration parameter for OC4J (though undocumented), which allows you to set the Socket's SoT
imeout -- and the default is 15000 (measured in milliseconds). The name is "orac
le.j2ee.http.socket.timeout", and it should be available in OC4J 9.0.3.1 and hig
her (I am definitely sure that it exists in OC4J 9.0.4.1).
So can you please add something like "-Doracle.j2ee.http.socket.timeout=120000" to the startup comma
nd for your standalone OC4J container to increase the timeout from 15 seconds to
2 minutes?
It helped us, although some requests time out "normally" instead.

Embedded OC4J startup time: 29125 ms.I did what Manu suggested with no success.

Receiver SOAP channel error: Communication over HTTPS. Unable to create a socket
Hi,
I am getting following error while sending message from PI (7.1) to SalesForce system:
'SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: Communication over HTTPS. Unable to create a socket'
Scenario: Sending Customer data from SAP via Async proxy to PI which is sent further to SalesForce system via SOAP webservice call.
When I am trying to Post data to the same webservice via SOAP UI it is working fine and data is getting updated in SalesForce system.
XPI inspector logs for the channel suggest the following:
client [103965] RequestImpl.initSslAttributes(): Initially sslAttributes = null
client [103965] RequestImpl.initSslAttributes(): Cannot find SSL headers in the request.
client [103965] RequestImpl.initSslAttributes(): No SSL attributes: not found in headers and not searched in FCA, because connection.isSecure() = false; sslAttributes = null
I have checked the following SAP Note and requested for updation of SSL icm parameters

Did you do telnet in pi server with target system ip and port?
If you use https then you need to install certificates.

Unable to create application module. JNID/RMI problem?
Hi forum,
I've got an ADF/OC4J application deployed and running successfully but sometimes the following error comes up:
JBO-30003: The application pool (com.miempresa.AppModuleLocal) failed to checkout an application module due to the following exception:
oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught:
oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-25222: Unable to create application module. at
oracle.jbo.common.ampool.ApplicationPoolImpl.doCheckout(ApplicationPoolImpl.java:2002)
In stack trace details we can found:
java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)## Detail 0 ##javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: com.miempresa.AppModule not found
at com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIServerContext.lookup(RMIServerContext.java:207) at
com.evermind.server.ApplicationContext.unprivileged_lookup(ApplicationContext.java:255) at

javax.naming.InitialContext.lookup(InitialContext.java:351) at
oracle.jbo.common.ampool.DefaultConnectionStrategy.createApplicationModule(DefaultConnectionStrategy.java:136)
Due to "NameNotFoundException", it seems to be reasonable to say that it's a JNDI problem. When application module is looked up through JNDI it's not found, so exeception is thrown. However, this doesn't happen frequently but occasionally. Why? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Luis Serrano.Any ideas?

Hi,
We have a scenario where XI receives a Idoc and based on the contents of Idoc, It will generate 5 different files and send it to the external FTP server.We configured 5 receiver channels for these 5 files.
When this interface runs, most of the files will be delivered but some of the messages will be errored out.
The receiver channel has shown the following error-
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx
I tried to resend them by temperorily stopping other channels to reduce connections to this FTP server.But these messages again resulted with same error.
Can someone suggest what might be the cause for this error.
Thanks in advance.Hi ,
As I am not sure about the problem so U just try all of the option I am writing below. It may help u as these are the probable solutions for this problem.
1.perform Full CPA cache refresh using PIDIRUSER
2.The problem seems to be in establishing the connection with the File server . This could be due to
a. Wrong user name or password in receiver adapter .
b. Firewall connection are not open
actually you are saying that some files are being delivered so all the file has to be deliverd on same server on diffrent directory or all files are going on diffrent server at present I am assuming that all files are going on diffrent server so please check UID & PWD properly.if they are on same server but diff. directory it can be easily done using one Communication channel only.
3. Finally please check the errorneous communication channel .
to check your communication channels are working fine or not you can check in channel monitoring in PI7.0, adapter monitoring in Xi3.0.
if you are on PI7.0, goto RWBCache monitoring select AE and cilck disply-select the date todays--check everything is greent here
4.Please check your maximal connection pool .

Saurabh
