HTTPS with Oracle XE ?

is it possible to use HTTPS (SSL encryption) with the webserver shipped with Oracle XE `?

I'm running Apache 2.2 on a SuSE 10 system. Instead of using the proxy commands directly I chose to do it through mod_rewrite. I placed the following commands in a file called httpd-rewrite.conf that is included by both httpd.conf and extra/httpd-ssl.conf:

Connections to /htmldb are redirected to always use ssl but /i, /public, and /sys are available from both ssl and non-ssl connections. Although this solution appears more complicated than using the proxy commands directly, it has the advantage of reducing repeated information. For example, changing the port or address for the XE service is as simple editing the last line. This method also preserves the URL supplied by the user. My server is behind a firewall with a dynamic IP address. The above configuration works regardless of the publicly visible IP.
