Huawei e170 dongle, where do I find out what firmware it has on it?

Does anybody know how to find it? I have problems running it and thought the firmware is not up to date to run under SL? Also how to update the FW if needed?

usually, the firmware version can be seen in a support/help software section of the setup application, tho' doubtless there's a way to see it w/o using that, since they can be operated w/o specific software or extensions, so far as I know.
Yeah I agree. I have no software appellation, and the dashboard that is available from Huawei shows nothing of the kind. So anybody know how to?

  • Where can I find out what the rules are for extracting Purchase Orders?

    Hi all,
Relating to BI 7.0, ECC 4.6
From a business perspective we are looking to be able to identify ALL the rules/criteria for Purchase Orders when they are extracted in ECC to BI.
    The datasource is 2LIS_02_ITM
For example deleted PO items are not extracted to BI, nor where LOEKZ (Memory flag =X).
In brief there is criteria that identifies which PO items are extracted.
Where can I find out what ALL of these conditions for extraction are?
I have looked in the extractor program MCEX_BW_LO_API and there is a class for filling the a table but I cant see any criteria here to how it decides WHAT to extract i.e where in the code the criteria is set.
Also this of course could be set in customizing somewhere?
    Anybody know where?
    Thanks in advance.
    Steve Jones

you can also check the start routines in BI for 2LIS ITM, there are a few exclusions and PO deletions there.
you can find more information in SAP Notes.

  • How to find out what text encoding has been used in mp3 tag

    Hello
I have some foreign songs that I am importing into itunes. When a song called "04.公路 塵埃 北合起." gets imported, it comes up in itunes as "04.§Ω∏Ù π–ÆJ •¶X∞"
Now I don't know a lot about different text encodings, but from what I've read on the forums is that the problem is that the tags that are encoded on the srcfiles are not unicode. I have tried the java application "UnicodeRewriter" recommended elsewhere in the forums, but both the commone Chinese ecodings, viz Big5 GBK etc.
Is there a way to cut a world from (eg a chinese glyph) and somehow find out what text encouding has been used?

Sorry, that question wasn't very well phrased. I'll try it again.

Is there a way I could take the original glyph in the file name (which shows up correctly on my desktop) and paste it into some sort of table. That table will then show me how that glyph will look in all different encodings without the correct conversion. So if I can match my "公" to my "§" I'll be able to see what the src encoding is.
I know this is a longshot, but any help appreciated.
Sorry for the rather rubbish explanation earlier.

  • When syncing my iPhone with iTunes, I get the error, "some items did not sync, see itunes for help", but can't find any helps for this in iTunes. Where can I find out what is not syncing?

When syncing my iPhone with my iPhone, I get a message that 2 items did not sync - use iTunes for help.
But I can't find any help information in iTunes at all, let alone when items are not syncing.
How do I figure out what is not syncing?

Since it seems App related, I'm not sure what to offer you.  I guess the only suggestion I have is for you to reboot your iPad and then try again.  To reboot, hold the power and home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds (keep holding past the swipe to shut down bar if it appears) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart.  You won't lose any settings or data, so it's worth a shot.

  • Where can I find out what had apple reported about me to NSA?

I have been reading that Apple has agreed to feed NSA data in 2011(2012) I have an icloud account and want to find out if any of my personal data or any of the data which was send to me has been given at any time to the NSA.
Is there a contact address? I am sure (maybe not so much) that I have this right.

My guess is you'll not find out.  There have been no references to this issue in this or any of the other forums I read.  I did read in the NYT that Apple claims they have not given the gov't access.

  • Need to replace HDD in Dad's HP 2000 Laptop - Where can I find out what is compatible?

Prod B5F64UA#ABA is the product code
It is a 500 in there now (that failed just out of warranty)
We have recovery disks so we can rebuild from them once we get at drive (found those instructions)

    Hi,
You can buy new same capacity or larger (ie 750Gb or even 1Tb) because the recovery set may not fit to smaller HDD. My suggestion buy a 7200RPM HDD which has bigger cache such as one of the following HDD's:
      http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/internal-hard-drives/laptop-hard-drives/laptop-solid-state-hybrid-drive...
    other vendors have similar products.

  • Where do I find out what applications are available?

I can't seem to find any FAQ that explains what RIM and/or third party applications might be available and just how I'd go about installing them.  For example I would like to have an application that would:
Export my contacts from my Palm desktop (not the handheld which I've not used for years) to the handheld. I can export the Palm contacts to a .csv file so importing from .csv and/or .xls would be fine.
I take it that the Decktop Manager which comes with the handheld can't be used to manage the contact lists so I'd also like an application which mirrors the Palm Desktop functionality i.e. allows me to add, delete, modify contacts on my computer rather than the handheld.
BTW, I noticed a weather application (BBweather) but upon following links to sourceforge, found that it applies only to 7000 series devices?  So applications are dependant on the series of handheld?  Seems like third party developers would be loath the develop new apps if RIM keeps changing the groundrules.

Every day there's an update but no info on what's been updated exactly. Occasionally I'll find a forum post somewhere in Russian or some other language with a few details but I can't find an updated one _every_ day and I'd rather find something in English.

  • HT6195 Where can I find out what the size of update files are, before I download them?

My provider charges based on data usage (which is very costly here!), so I need to be able to locate file sizes prior to downloading them in order to stay within my budget.   The last (single file) update cost me $54.00, so yes, it matters!

only option is to use a download manage and stop the download if the size is unwanted

  • HT204291 Where will I find out what my airplay password is please?

I am trying to run Reflector on my Dell Vostro laptop (windows 7) but it is asking me for an AirPlay Password.  I am a teacher and this is my school's laptop, however I have not set a password for AirPlay and any passwords I would have set for this laptop do not work.  I am comletely stumped.  I will be eternally grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!
    Regards,
    Sara Wilson

Your computer should have a program called AirPort Utility on it that is used to govern the password of whatever device is used to facilitate the AirPlay (e.g., an AirPort Express Station).
I suggest using the AirPort Utility to change the device's password.  Open AirPort Utility, click the "AirPlay" tab on top, and change the password there.
