Hyperlinks in email sig on 9300

Hi, is there a way to include hyperlinks
(I mean, have say "LinkedIn" visable but when clicked goes to www.linkedin.com) in email signature? Also in the body of the mail when needed. Thanks in advance.

Email sent FROM the device is in text format, not HTML encoded.
So, no, not a hyper-link, clickable, but you can certainly include the url in your signature or email.

  • I can't open pdf particularly from hyperlinks in emails and webpages

    I have downloaded the latest version of reader several times now and this has not fixed the problem.  I can open some pdf documents but not all and it only started when I upgraded to the latest version. I small "x" appears in the top left corner of the page when I try to open some documents particularly from webpages or hyperlinks in emails.  I can sometimes get around the issue by right clicking and saving to the desktop but this is not always possible.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Assuming that you are on Windows with IE10 / IE11: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2716529

  • Windows 7 and Microsoft Office installed a series of updates and now I cannot open hyperlinks in emails.

    After my system rebooted and I opened my emails in outlook, when I clicked on a hyperlink, it brought me no where. I did not get an error message. I went back in and set Firefox to my default program with all extensions and protocols for Firefox. However, when I click a hyperlink in an email, it still does not open in Firefox. What little trick has IE and Microsoft done now to change my system. Until I updated some files today, hyperlinks in emails opened in Firefox. Please Help. I hate IE!

    Windows does not know that it should start Firefox to open those links.
    Try this first. Start IE (yes I know) and set it as the default browser. After
    close IE. Wait a few moments, then start Firefox. Then set FF as your default.

  • How do I attach an image to my email sig?

    I have images in my email sigs on both my iMac and my MacBook Pro.  How do I do that with the iPad?  I see how to construct a sig there, but how do I include an image?  Or can I?
    Thanks,
    Tom

  • I can't insert hyperlink to email me button,can you help me.

    When I try to insert hyperlink to email me button it won't bold up so i can click on it. How do i add the email address I want the button to link to?

    The email button is predefined.
    If you still want to use it for another email address, publish the page and grab the image.
    Also note there's a whole universe beyond iWeb. Explore and discover it :

  • Hyperlinks from email, pdf and word no longer work to connect to that webpage, though they work in IE.

    I think I recently updated firefox, in any case, I do when requested. Just in the last few days, I can no longer make hyperlinks work from email, word or pdf documents. I have to cut and paste the url. I tried doing the reset under troubleshooting, but it did not work. I tried setting the network connection to auto detect, but that did not fix it either. As I can get hyperlinks to work with internet explorer, I assume it is something with firefox. I am not a particularly savy computer user, so clear instructions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Try to redo the default browser (i.e make IE the default and then let Firefox do it again).

  • I have Yahoo mail. I want to add a hyperlink to emails. Your File tool in top bar has Send Link, but nothing happens. Yahoo says to use Format, but not there.

    As in someone's previous question, I used to be able to add a hyperlink from a website. On Yahoo help, they say to click the hyperlink button on the formatting toolbar. There is no formatting toolbar. On your top toolbar, under File, there is a Send Link. When I click on this, nothing happens. On the top toolbar, under Edit, the Copy, Cut and Paste are grayed out. Please let me know how I can add a hyperlink to my email. I tried to add one from an Amazon page, but did not see anything on the page to make it possible. Thanks in advance.

    First thing...you made a mistake
    import javax.swing.JScrollPane;
    import javax.swing.JScrollBar;
    import javax.swing.*;When you import javax.swing.*; You automatically
    import JScrollPane & JScrollBar class, there's no
    need for you to re import again...
    That is not always a mistake. There are cases where it makes sense to do both (i.e., to import both '*' and a specific class name from that package at the same time). I believe the common example is:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.util.List;Now you can use "List" as a short name for "java.util.List", but must use "java.awt.List" in full for "java.awt.List" objects. If you just did:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.*;Then you couldn't use List as a short name for anything--because it is ambiguous. You'd have to use both "java.awt.List" and "java.util.List" spelled out in full.
    Or, if you did:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.awt.List; // NOTE CHANGEThen "List" is short for "java.awt.List", and you must use "java.util.List" in full for "java.awt.List" objects.

  • HyperLink in Email Task for Workflow

    Hi experts,
    I need to place a Hyperlink in an email task in my work flow(e.g. <A HREF="URL">Name</A>).  When I do this it looks and acts correctly in SOST but when it is sent to outlook it is not a Hyperlink but the actual text.
    Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

    Yes,
    The message gets to Outlook fine but the hyperlink is sipmle raw text...
    I am trying to send a Hyperlink in an email from my SAP workflow to Outlook in a WF email task.  When I try to send the Hyperlink from a workflow(email task) I lose the Hyperlink from "SOST" to Outlook.  The link looks and acts correctly in "SOST"(e.g. some text Name some text - were Name is the Hyperlink).  But when the email is received in Outlook it looks like "some text <A href="URL" mce_href="URL">Name</A> some text".  The Hyper link is gone and simple raw text is left.
    Putting the actual link in the email will work just fine.  Also, when I write a custom method to send the email with the SAP email function the Hyperlink works correctly.  However, I'm curious if there is a setting in "SCOT" or somewhere which would allow me to place the Hyperlink in the email task itself.  This would allow me to use the SAP WF email task avoiding the writing of custom code(BO method) whenever a customer wants a Hyperlink and not a straight URL.
    Thanks,
    Scott

  • Cannot click hyperlinks in emails

    When trying to click on a hyperlink within a received email, I get the error:
    Mail was unable to open the URL “https://XXXXXXXXXXXXXX”.
    where XXXXXXX represents the address.
    This was working before, but I have no idea when it stopped (probably as a result of an update).
    Any ideas to get it working again?
    Thanks if you can help.

    Thanks for your quick responses. I confirm that resetting Safari as the default browser worked. For some reason, it had changed to "Safari (Mobile)".

  • How to create hyperlink in email to send out

    I received email with web address (appear in blue words) in it, I can just click on the address and will direct to that page. But I couldnot do this in my email send out. Is there any setting in firefox to do this. Thank you.

    There is usually a toolbar button in the editor to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).
    You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink
    If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each.

  • Firefox no longer creates hyperlinks from email addresses in my emails

    It used to be that when I created an email that contained an email address, the address would be displayed as a hyperlink. NOW the email address seems to be just text.
    I checked the same thing in IE and it still displays the email address as a hyperlink, so I assume the issue is with Firefox.

    Well I would assume the email you received from Apple explains why you can't.

    Hi Brandon,

    But is simple in what I prefer Eudora & Thunderbird...

  • Help! hyperlink to email

    Hi, I'm trying to write a resume on Appleworks 6. I've been really frustrated with it, I cannot get my contact info right because I can't make my email address into an email hyperlink. Is this possible with AW? All I see are options for internet or document links, and they don't quite fit the bill. Do they? Where have I gone wrong???
    Also, I am assuming that when I am done, I can back it up, and then go to print, save as pdf, and then send this resume out to both mac and pc users and that everyone will be able to open it with acrobat reader.
    Am I assuming correctly? I'm paranoid because it's a resume, i only get one chance to send it.
    Any help gratefully accepted, thanks in advance!

    Hi and Welcome to Apple Discussions and the AppleWorks forum.
    You can make links to other points within the same AppleWorks document, to separate AppleWorks documents, or to web pages on the internet, but AppleWorks does not support links to an email address.
    The links within AppleWorks work only in AppleWorks documents. Once you Print the document (to paper or to a PDF file) those links are no longer functional.
    So yes, you can create a PDF document that can be opened and read by any Mac or Windows user, provided that user has the free Adobe Reader application (or other PDF reader, such as Apple's Preview) installed on her machine. You can include your email address in the document, but it will not function as an active link.
    Regards,
    Barry

  • Hyperlinks in emails fail to work

    When I receive an email in my mail client (Outlook or Windows Live Mail) if I click a hyperlink in the message it shows an error "There was a problem sending the command to the program" all previous versions of Firefox have worked fine with hyperlinks.

    .. Basically all I did was say type www.abcdfg.com, then went to window-->interactive-->hyperlink and that was it.
    If you literally did that, well, it takes just a bit more.
