Hyperlinks in slideshow

I'm using a Flash slideshow on a Dreamweaver site (CS3) with six slide images (see code below). The first three images have a link to Adobe - not intended.
I have not been able to remove the links. Is it possible that somehow the jpeg images themselves contain the links? And, if so, how do I remove them?

If the links are in a flash slideshow, you need to change that within the Flash program.
You can't edit Flash files in DW.
A much better solution would be to ditch Flash all together since the most popular handheld devices (iphone, ipad, andriod, etc) can't see it. Moving to something more compatible, like jQuery, which is viewable on all devices, would be a better route in my opinion.
jQuery Cycle 2 is a very nice slider, and is very easy to implement: http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle2/

I have a 152 page book I want to insert into my slideshows. Created in InDesign CS6, with hyperlinks to websites and email addresses on each page. Tried to work it in as an interactive .pdf, but no joy. Used .swf in past, but want it viewable on IOS. Easiest way for me would be to use linearized .pdf, no doubt... (with a customizable player??) Also external links so that this can be opened on a page of my choosing. I rent a hosting service so no cloud servers, please.

Well I dont see any possibility exporting pdf from inDesign which will support all these features in muse.

You can select the Hero Image and from Hyperlink drop down you can link the image, so that when users click on image will be redirected to link that you setup in Muse.

Hyperlink within slideshow

I want to add a hyperlink to a file download for every picture in a slideshow. Every picture needs to link to a different file. I have tried enabling the caption as a hyperlink, but all that does is put the name of the file as the caption. I suspect part of my problem is that it only lets me choose a file on my local hard drive. I have placed the files on my hard drive in the same relative location to the webpages as they are on the webserver, but it simply doesn't work.
I have tried inserting an html snippet, too. But if I do that, the same snippet appears for every picture in the slideshow, meaning I can't specify a different file for each picture.
Does anybody know a way to do this? I'd rather not have to use Joomla or Coppermine.

If you don't want a page to appear in the navbar at top then go to the Inspector/Page/Page pane and uncheck the "Include page in navigation menu" checkbox.

You'll need to create a text based navbar to link to those pages from their parent page.

Quicktime slides show movies not working in iweb

made keynote (hyperlinks only) slideshows, then exported to quicktime. slideshows work on desk top but not online in iweb o8 ( movie pages). Largest show is 4.4mb. they sometimes work, but mostly run on arbitrary loop. if i cant figure this out I might have to leave iweb. have I missed somthing simple?

I solved the problem by simply removing Safari and using an other browser. I'll have to remove the sentence on my webpages that advises people to use Safari.

I see how slideshows can be made in muse, but haven't seen where you can assign a hyperlink to each image.

Is it possible in Muse to create hyperlinks to individual slideshow images?

Right now I've got a web-comic going (check it out at www.joshuawright.net). In order to maintain an archive page for each new comic I put up, I'm having to create a new html page every time. This is the only way I know to create a clean hyperlink on my archive page to each comic. I would like to use a simple slideshow widget, but there doesn't seem to be a way to link to specific images within the slideshow from another page.
For example, if I have slideshow of 30 images, and I want to create a separate html archive page with a text link to each individual one (so say, if I have 30 different luxury car pictures and I want readers to be able to click straight to the Ferrari picture without having to scroll through the entire slideshow) is this possible through Muse???? If so how???

Thanks for the reply. I looked into your suggestion but as far as I can tell, that still doesn't allow for a separate hyperlink to individual images within the tooltip gallery. I'm happy to be proven wrong though if anyone knows where I'm screwing up.
To be clearer, check out my archive page for my web-comics: The Archive | An index of joshuawright.net See how each link takes you to each page (i.e. image). It would be great if I could just have one slideshow gallery on one page filled with all the necessary jpgs that I could then archive in the same way.

Can I create iWeb hyperlinks from individual slides in slideshow?

I have made a slideshow in iPhoto and dragged it onto my iWeb homepage. I now want to make links between each individual slide and one of my pages. Is this possible. When I click the link icon in the inspector the slides on the slideshow will not highlight to allow links to be made. Is there another way to do this?Thanks.

I don't know about the iWeb slideshow as I don't use it but there are lots of choices for a banner/slideshow that will do what you want...

Unfortunately, those slideshows aren't all that flexible. I

Flash export of slideshow keeps looping, hyperlinks not working.

I have made an intro page for a website using Keynote 3 <http://web.mac.com/archstanton1862/iWeb/Tricktrial/Welcome.html> I can't figure out why the page keeps looping. It should go through it's transitions and then stop. Right? Also, the ENTER hyperlink is supposed to go to <http://web.mac.com/archstanton1862/iWeb/Trickracing1/Menu.html> but it instead goes to www.apple.com/startpage What's the deal? I have loop slideshow "unchecked" in the playback options. I used iWeb Enhancer 1.0.1 to embed the flash animation html, and it worked awesome. It just keeps looping and the hyperlink is wrong. Is what I'm wanting to do even possible? HELP!!

Looks like everything's working to me. I was having this same problem, but never got around to uploading the flash to the site because it keeps looping for me, too. But your's seems to be fine--did you do anything to correct this, or did it seem to fix itself?!

Old hyperlinks are retained (inappropriately) in thumbnail slideshows

I assign hyperlinks to the hero images of a thumbnail slideshow. Later, I replace all of the images with new ones: new hero images are created. But the new heroes have the old hyperlinks still there. There should be NO hyperlinks with the new heroes.

Thank you for reproting the issue.
I would like to inform you that we were able to reproduce the issue. Whenever you add a hyperlink to an image thumbnail or hero image, the images that are added after that by default gets the hyperlink copied.
It is being filed as a Bug now and we assure you that it will get fixed in future releases.

Simple Photo slideshow hyperlink firefox

I have a very short slideshow with only 4 images and I've exported it to quicktime for the web. Everything works great in the Safari beta browser, but in the latest Firefox, the last slide's hyperlink to go back to the first slide does not work. Also in Firefox 2.0.0.6, if you click around the video trying to make the hyperlink work, the whole thing ends up disappearing all together. Is the a quicktime/mozilla issue?
To begin with, I've wanted to simply have the last slide go back to the first on click without the hyperlink anyway, however I can't seem to find a way to do this in Keynote. Am I missing something simple?
(I just got iwork today so I'm a bit of a newbie and would appreciate any help getting me going.)

Is it possible to convert one or more texts in a slideshow by photographs that exchange so a photo during playback and di with hyperlinck have to click by the user so that they are directed to the relevant page. I'm already trying been and can not find a movie in which it is explained.

Do you wan to convert "Hero Image" or "Caption Text" in to hyperlink ?
Yes you can do this.
Select the specific Hero Image and go to the hyperlink dropdown at the top and insert the URL or select the page from dropdown.
Do the same for Caption text box. please take a look at the screenshot.

i don't think so, but why would you need to be that spesific? and why not have the trigger beneath the text itself?
