I accidently bocked a URL in acrobat. How do I find Edit-preferences in adobe to remove block?

Preferences > Trust Manager
Click the big "Change Settings" button in the middle of the dialog, then remove the blocked URL from the list by clicking it and pressing the Delete button.

You don't see Edit because you do not have an IMAP email account which is needed in order to create folders on the iPad. If you launch the mail app and tap on your email account under the Accounts heading, there will be an Edit button at the top of the next window - only if you have an IMAP account. You cannot create folders in a POP account.

Click on the Finder and use the Go menu and select Go To Folder
now paste this and press Go
~/Library/Preferences
The folder (hidden in 10.7) will open and you can drag it to the sidebar if you need to access it again.
Just a note, in 10.7 Apple has hidden this folder for a reason, so you better know what your doing mucking around in there.

When I "upgraded" to Adobe Reader 9 I immediately noticed a severe drop in performance. A lot of pretty features have been added, but I can't take the hit to my machines' performance and I want to go back.
I tried to configure the software so that it would load less of the bloated features, and I attempted to change the performance in several ways. But I've had it by now and I need to go back to 8.
Any thoughts on where I might find an installer/exe for version 8/8.1.3?

I like to trash it because I have to click my mouse pointer sometimes 3 to 4 times before the pointer gives my any reaction.

and
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist
but other settings are in
~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist
and
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost.GlobalPreferences.-your ethernet id-.plist
If you restart or logout right after trashing the files, you'll normally avoid the caching. You can also use 'defaults delete' on the files in Terminal, or use Activity Monitor or Terminal to quit (or killall) cfprefsd
Test in a Guest or new user account first, to confirm that it's a per-user problem.

Where can i find edited adobe photoshop files in time machine after update?

i was having issues with my computer, brought it in to apple store. they suggested i back everything up on external using time machine before doing a erase/re-write. i did so. HOWEVER, my edited photos in photoshop & bridge are gone. after the re-write, i updated from CS3 to CS5.5. all of my metadata is gone from the pictures, my keywords and all of the edited photos.
i don't know if it is related and it's not really my question, but i cannot access any of my itunes music now as it says that it cannot find original files. super frustrating as no one seems to know how to help with this. these two issues arose after my time machine backup that the apple genius told me would certainly back up all of my files. it seems i did something wrong prior to the backup or prior to the software updates that i did after the rewrite. any suggestions that could point me in the right direction are appreciated.

That path is still correct - at least it is on my system - but unless you had Library brought out into a place where it could be found, in the Sidebar for instance, I don't know how you'd get into it in Time Machine. Try this, though: access the user's Library folder via the Go To Folder command, then drag the Library folder into the sidebar. Then run Time Machine and see if the Library folder persists in the TM interface. If it does, you should then be able to navigate into Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ and find and restore the backup folder.

Launch Activity Monitor and "Force Quit" all the process related to Adobe like Creative Cloud, CoreSync, AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier,, PDAPP, Setup* (root) , Adobe Crash demon from Activity monitor.
