Use something such as OmniDiskSweeper (my favorite) or Grand Perspective to find out where large files may be. iCloud isn't going to help much if you've so much data that it won't fit on a 1TB drive. Sounds as if it's time to either buy another drive or at least an external with more space.

How to synchronize contacts from microsoft outlook 2003

I went to edit-preferences-ipod-contacts tab and selected synchcronize from microsoft outlook and synchronize all contacts then I select ipod and update and doesn't syncronize my contacts, outlook was open by the way.
Any ideas.
same for calendar.
it doesnot work itunes 6.0.5.20 the lattest.
Please help.
the only way that it works if I do it manually where I have to same my contacts 1 by 1 becuase I can't export them as .vcf files so I had to same every contact as a .vcf file in a private folder and then moved to my ipod as a hard drive use. Which takes to many steps for a normal user. It should be 1 step synchonize.
I need ipod engineers to give a hand with this.

There it's only two options microsoft outlook and outlook express on the ipod contacts tab. So I chose microsoft outlook, and the answer for what I have in my computer it's Microsoft Outlook 2003.

Problem with Contact download from Microsoft Outlook 2003 SP2

For some strange reason that I cannot, for the life of me, figure out; my contact list ( address book ) downloads, but, even though I specified " sort by last name "; some contacts show up sorted by last name and some show up sorted by first name ! Also, some have commas in the name, even though there are no commas in the record in Outlook !
Anybody else have this experience ??

Hey, hope you guys can help me out. I somehow managed to delete all of my contacts recently. Here is the scenario:
I recently changed jobs and have been continuing to get emails on my work email address from my old job. This was a Microsoft outlook account. I went and deleted my old work account thinking that it would only delete the email account, and it ended up deleting all of my contacts.
The other accounts I have set up on my phone are my personal email and my iCloud account (although I have never used my iCloud email account whatsoever).
My numbers are still in my phone (I.e. old texts and phone records with the numbers), but all of the contacts are gone.
It looks like my last backup was on August 26. I could not even begin to tell you the last times physically hooked my iPhone up to iTunes on the computer.
Can anyone help me out? Fair warning, I am not well versed with a lot of the iPhone jargon or processes, but hopefully someone can help.

Thanks Linc. I just tried it. Turned of Safari sync on all devices, but when I turn on Safari sync on my computer to start things off, it's still getting the old data from somewhere. Maybe it's storing it in the cloud and I need to delete that data somehow? I definitely turned off sync on all possible devices.

So I needed to get a new iphone because my old one had a broken lock button and it was in my warranty that i could get a new one for free so i did. You need to put the folder of pictures somewhere on the computer that contains iTunes. After connecting the phone to the computer, selecting the phone and looking in iTunes, go to the Photos tab and select these photos and sync.
