I Have a hierarchy on GL Account in SAP R/3 , which i want to refresh it BW 7.0 .
I am able to refresh the hieriarchy, but i want add the character "U" in the starting of GL Account .
For examlple GL Account "0000456848" should get "U" added as "U000456848".
Where should i write this codind in the transfer rule ???

You have to write a ABAP program to replace the values with 'U'. Filed to be modified "Nodaname".

Is it able to refresh the table view automaticlly after trigger an event?

I have one table view and a "Delete" button, each time when the user click the del button, it will delete the row which is selected via a RFC module in the backend, afterwards, I want this table view to be refreshed and read the real data from backend via another function module, is it possible? how could I do it?

Let me do some summarize if my understanding is correct
1. Use a timer as "start" point of a table view, set the "interval" to be 0.05 minute
2. use the condition in the timer with a formula (BOOL(STORE@RETURN_CODE==0)).
3. If I trigger one event in the "table view", for example, a "Delete" event and it will return the result RETURN_CODE = 0 to datastore
4. Afterwards, if the time interval of the timer has been reached, 1st it will evaluate the value of the datastore and decide whether to refresh the table view.
Am I right?
Just as you mentioned before, it is not a perfect solution, as we may still wait for the timer to be triggered after a few seconds.

Not able to refresh the data in a table

Hi In my application i fill data in a table on clikc of a button ..
Following are the line of code i have user
RichColumn richcol = (RichColumn)userTableData.getChildren().get(0); (fetch the first column of my table)
richcol.getChildren().add(reportedByLabel); (reportedByLabel is a object of RichInputText)
AdfFacesContext adfContext1 = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
adfContext1.addPartialTarget(richcol);
adfContext1.addPartialTarget(userTableData);
But on submit of that button table data is not refreshed after adding partial trigger on that table as well as that column also .... any idea??

The Code that you have shown adds an additional inputText component to the first column of a table.
Is that your intention?

Problem in refreshing the data in Xcelsius

Hi,
I have added a refresh button in my dashboard to refresh the data from the BOE , but ones i click that button it ask for user authentication and ones i enter that and click ok nothing happens , the data is not getting refreshed.
In second case i made my data connection as refresh on load so as soon i launch my dashboard it ask for user authentication and after entering that details nothing happens and i am not able to see the data and even if i enter wrong details in the pop up window it does not gives any error message for wrong credentials.
Earlier i was getting the error like #2032 , #2017 so i maintained the crossdomail.xml file in web server it was resolved.
But i am not able to refresh the data nor i am getting any error message kindly suggest !!

Thanks for replying.
Step 1 : I have used a excel sheet using the live office connection and using the existing CR report from the BOE.
Step 2 : Then i have published that excel sheet in BOE
Step 3 : I have imported that spreadsheet in the Xcelsius and created a dashboard on top of that.
Step 4 : I have added a refresh button on the dashboard which is used to refresh the live office connection and the session URL that i have maintained is http://XXXC043A:8080/dswsbobje/services/session . i am not using the refresh on load option.
Step 4 : When i preview the dashboard with the preview button available in the Xcelsius i can see the dashboard with the existing data but ones i click the Connection refresh button a user authentication window pop up which ask for the system name user id and pwd and Authentication type . I used the Enterprise authentication for that but ones i submit the credential nothing happens even if i enter the wrong information no error message is prompted.

Error while refreshing the BO WebI report

Dear Friends,
I have created BO report on top of BICS Query in BO 4.0(have used aroung 15 BICS queries in to the report) and able to see the correct data.
I have used hierarchies and also selected levels in to webI report. Last week I am able to refresh the report but since two days I am getting some strange errors.
Errors:
1) Unable to run the empty Query.
2) When trying to invoke the method com.sap.ip.bi.bics.dataacess.consumer.queryview.results.et.IRsAxisTupleelement.Getcharateristicmember() of an object loaded from Local Variable 'element'(WIS00000)
Can you please help me on this isse.

According to your description, you can refresh the cube. But the users from a domain can't do this and get the above error. Right?
In this scenario, since you are the only user which can refresh the cube and the other user can't, it might be permission issue. Please re-grant the cube permission (Read/Write) for the domain users. See:
Grant cube or model permissions (Analysis Services).
If the issue persists, please re-install the ASOLEDB10 from Feature Pack, please refer to links below:

Refresh the content of a page

I' am developing a web monitoring console. Therefore I must be able to refresh the content of a page(table) and requery the underlying sql. Must I use a timer or are the other methods and alternatives.

I am creating a project in Java Studio Creator 2. It starts out with a login screen and depending on the user rights, it lists(in a listbox) the possible pages the user has access to. From here the user selects the page they want to go to and takes them there. Now the problem that I am having is that this final page they are taken too needs to be refreshed every 5 seconds.
I tried to add <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5"/> in my <ui:head, but it just returned an error. After a little tweaking, I came up with <ui:meta httpEquiv="refresh" content="5"/>.
The problem that I'm now having is that the page will wait 5 sec, and then reloads the previous page with the listbox. What am I doing wrong?
The JSP head code that I have is as follows:

Refresh the screen after a long calculation

          After I click a submit button, I want start a long process(running a stored procedure

          database for about 20 mins) and after it is finished, screen will refresh automatically

          changes. I was using a thread to do the calculation but not able to refresh the

          It was just pseudo-code to hand you an idea of using Refresh.
          As for the piece you provided, it has some problems:
          1. It looks like you start marginServer() Every time there is a refresh
          2. It looks like you have marginServer as a field in the servlet, which
          is not correct as it's not guaranteed that the same instance will serve
          the next request. You'd better keep in HttpSession.

You need to install Java for your Mac OS version, and/or make sure it's enabled in the Java Preferences application and your browser's preferences.

The problem I have is that when the report is run (I know it is refreshing) the P4_SELECTED_VALUE bind variable is set to NULL.
The alert pop contains the correct value and when I make the P4_SELECTED_VALUE visible it also contains the value?

You need to insert P4_SELECTED_VALUE value into APEX session before refreshing the report.

Url used to show in the url box when opening from a shortcut or email, but now it's not there. If I refresh the page it is. How do I get this back the way I like it?

The url of the website that I'm visiting used to show in the url box when I opened from a shortcut or email. But not it's not there unless I refresh the page. I've looked and haven't found a way to set this so that it works like it used to. I liked being able to click in the address bar and copy the link, or even to look there and see where I am.

I'm unable to check it in safe mode because the only time it happens is when I click a link and have not firefox open. For example if I would click a link in my email right now, it would open in another tab and show the address of the link I clicked. But if I didn't not have this window open and clicked alink, it would open a new window and I wouldn't be able to see the url.

I am able to click Refresh now on my datasets and it refreshes fine. But I cannot schedule a refresh for any of my datasets. I get the following error: "You can't schedule refresh because this dataset contains data sources that do not yet support refresh.

When I create the datasets, I create the power query in Excel 2013, upload it to OneDrive, and then upload it to Power Bi Preview. I don't understand why it works for the refresh now but not the scheduled refresh. Is there a fix for this?
