i need your help
i want to count number of records entered in each day, but CREATED_DATE is datetime, so i used the convert to extract the date but i am gettig error in testing query Error in executing Query : [ORA-00936: missing expression ]
this is the sql code:

I'm not too sure what syntax you're using, and Oracle doesnt have a "datetime" datatype. Is that SQLServer datatype and syntax?

I've successfully created a Linked Server that connects a local DB Engine with another DB Engine through an ip over an extranet. I am able to run simple Select statement queries on the Local DB

I just got word from a user that the query ran successfully this morning but took 15 mins to complete.. does it ring a bell to you in terms of issues that may be causing this?
This kind of behaviour would suggest something makes the query "time out" or stop abruptly.. How can I further investigate it pls? Getting error arrayindexoutofbound : 0 in extended VO

Hi,
I have extended view object ApInvPoShipmentsVO(added new columns), initially I was getting error 'each row in the query result columns must be mapped to a unique query attribute in the mapped entity columns' somehow I was able to resolve it.
But now while running the page I am getting Arrayindex.. 0 when trying to use/print a particular view attribute.
Also other custom added columns are fetching bad values, whereas when I run the same in sql dev. it is fetching correct value
I am badly stuck with this, any help will be very great full.

For this.. Please create transient attributes first(say column1,cloumn2 etc). Then modify your sql query to add your columns with names as exactly the same transient attribute name and then modify the transient attribute by checking the 'mapped to sql' check box.
looks like the attribute mapping is distorted. Try the above step and check.

When I try to upgrade ACR, I get error message "Application Manager Damaged", so download new Application Manager with the same result. CS6 came with ACR 7.0.0.308 which seems like it should process the D800 raw files. How do I proceed?

You really need to increase the amount of RAM your computer has in order to increase its speed and performance. Now, when a task requires more RAM than your system has available then the OS will use some harddrive space temporarily instead. This is called "Virtual Memory." Is it possible that at this time that your harddrive is very full relative to its stated capacity, so that even "virtual memory" is not really available? If that is the case, you really need to cleanup your harddrive by deleting a fair number of less used files.

I am doing a small application where I need to read an image from a shared path and send the base64code of that image in response. For that I am using File Adapter and Read
operation. I have just hard coded the image name didnt give any wild card or expressions. I generated a service which is a proxy using the jca of that File Adapter. I added a stage
replacing the response body with the opaque element of the request body. When I run the proxy I am getting something like *"The invocation resulted in an error: "* in response
and in the stack trace I am getting *"Failed to set the value of context variable "body". Value must be an instance of {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Body."* as the fault
reason I am unable to detect where exactly I am going wrong. Kindly help me in resolving this.

Not sure why you want to replace. Since the response of the proxy would remain to hold the request body by default.
If you have stored the opaque element in a variable ($var_opaque), then you can do the following.
XPath : .
In variable : body
Expression : $var_opaque
Check - "Replace node content"

Hi Manoj,
Go to the controls tab in parameters in universe designer and there increase the "Limit size of result set to" and "limit execution time to".
Also in webi go to the edit query and increase the "maximum rows retrived" and "maximu retrievel time".
I think this should avoid partial results.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Also, you mentioned that you have been successful burning a CD with the Windows OS. Make sure that you have closed all software programs that can access the CD burner so that there isn't a conflict for the drive. Sometimes chaning the burn speed from "maximum" to 8x can also help in this situation.

What is the type declaration of num_tab and how is record_num defined?
ORA-24381: error(s) in array DML
Cause: One or more rows failed in the DML.indicates that you fail on the insert itself. Are the table definitions the same? Same primary/unique keys?

Try the following in the ERP backend system:
Standard Hierarchy Inconsistencies
Issue: one Cost Center is repeating in more than one node in Cost Center Standard Hierarchy.
Update from SAP Global support, the following was the email received:
in transaction KSH3 please run both the ambiguity and completeness check(Menu -> Extras -> Check and Help functions).
If you think that your standard hierarchy is inconsistent you can check that as following:
Run transaction Extras -> Hierarchy - Master data -> Test. The result shows you if there are in consistencies. If that is the case run also Extras -> Hierarchy - Master data -> Comparison.
Alternatively, you can run the report 'RKCORRH1' (TN SE38).
Run both the Hierarchy->Master data->test and the
Hierarchy->Master data->comparison.
As stated above inconsistency message showed after Test. Run the comparison and you get a similar message.
Once the above two are run, again when you go to test, the inconsistency disappears.

Message "Error in connection:No result set, result attempts = 100" on VC

Hi,
I am using a JDBC datasource to retrieve, update, insert and delete information from a SQL Server database using executing store procedures from VC.
The selection of the data is perfect but for the deletion, insert or update of any data using store procedures I always get the following message:
"Error in connection:No result set, result attempts = 100"
At the end the information is modified in the database but I get error.
Here is an example of one of my store procedure:

Hi,
when you SELECT data, you get a result. So your connection gets a result set. When you DELETE, INSERT,... you have no result, because you didn't select data. So your connection can't get any result sets.
