I am getting following error while doing stream setup

Error - java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20411: Incorrectly specified parameter oracle_home ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.MGMT_JOBS", line 242 ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.MGMT_JOBS", line 78 ORA-06512: at line 1
its urgent
Help in advance

I too am getting the same error using Oracle EM to set up Streams Replication. It cannot be a TNSNAMES issue because I have setup a public database link between the two databases (on separate Windows 2003 server machines) using the TNSNAMES entries and I can select data from the remote database via this link in both databases.
Can any one assist me? Where can I find the scripts referred to above to set up Oracle Streams Replication?
To recap: The error is
Error - java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20411: Incorrectly specified parameter oracle_home ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.MGMT_JOBS", line 242 ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.MGMT_JOBS", line 78 ORA-06512: at line 1
on Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - both databases running Windows 2003 Server SP2 on a domain of which I am the administrator.

    Help in advance

    hi,
thanks for reply but DB user exists. It seems to be problem of WIN environment with Streams. I could solve it. But after whole setup and starting Apply and capture capture process goes for hours, not replicated at destination database. Normally how fast is replcation when done for small db like scott on table emp.
    thanks

Same issue is not happening when I am taking one material in Stock transfer order in & same material in depot delivery. Please see the screen shots below attachment. I have already maintained no range for the object J_1IDEPINV for year 2014.

    Hi Rajesh,
er, what kind of answer do you expect here?
    "Some files have been edited/changed.
    Look over your open activities.
com.sap.tc.devconf.SyncException: Cannot unsync component. There are files checked out."
Do you have file checked out? If yes, you should probably check in your changes or revert them and remove the configuration afterwards.
If you don't have files checked out maybe there are some files that were made writable without DTRs knowledge.

    Marc

    Hi,
This was a problem in earlier releases of Coherence and you can try to configure the <thread-pool> for your Distributed Cache and see if the problem goes away. Here is a note from Oracle support that talks more about this problem: https://support.oracle.com/CSP/main/article?cmd=show&type=NOT&id=845363.1

  • Can anyone tell me why im getting this error while doing expdp?

    Hi,
    My question is
I have a script scheduled in cronjob which is having stmts for taking export backup for many schemas.
Before doing that it will remove all the dmp files in the directory to create new dmp files everyday.
But yesterday, it took backup for only one schema, it failed for remaining schemas.
So currently one dmp file is there in dmp destination.
and previous day log files are there in log destinaton.
So, after checking this i have taken logical backup for a single schema in background.
then i checked in another terminal whether any backup is going on or not.
It was showing nothing even though i have given the backup manually.
So, i tried to take the backup again normally (not in background)
then it was giving the following errors.
    ORA-31634: job already exists
ORA-31664: unable to construct unique job name when defaulted
Can any one tell why this happens?
    Thanks in advance.

    Error:     ORA-31664 (ORA-31664)
Text:     unable to construct unique job name when defaulted
Cause:     The job name was defaulted, and the name creation algorithm was
unable to find a unique job name for this schema where the table
name (for the master table) didn't already exist.
Action:     Specify a job name to use or delete some of the existing tables

I have to import a form from server and run it on my Jdev9i.
The form consists of many tabs i.e pages. At first in the home page it should ask for the organization name which is a kind of login id.
But when i m trying to run any of the pages , only the home page is run with the following error. Moreover it is not asking for the organization name which is a must to navigate through the application.
No method with signature - No method with signature - getRespId()
    Please help me out,
    Thanks
Edited by: Rahul Minocha on Nov 2, 2008 10:04 PM

I am not sure whether you are checking the Work Request, Work Order or some other form. But I would not suggest running the forms independently in Jdeveloper. In EAM you need to select the Organization before you navigate to the forms and I think your Error might need to do with that.
Kindly let us know what is your intention after running the project in Jdeveloper and we can concenterate on the same.

  • ANT error while doing a setup-bpm from the OBPM documentation - antlib err

    Hi,
Have anyone see this particular error and found a solution for the following problem:
I've tried using the samples in OBPM Enterprise version for weblogic. It has samples under OBPMWlHome directory samples/interop.
Setup my environment settings so that the ANT command works for regular java compilations and jar builds.
But, when i try to run the ANT with samples/interop/AntTasks build.xml and setting the properties, getting the following error:
build.xml:58: Problem: failed to create task or type antlib:fuego.tools.ant.enterprise:passport
and when i add the ANT_ARGS=-lib c:/oraHome/lib;c:/oraHome/ext a different error msg is displayed.
org/apache/tools/ant/antlib.xml:37: Could not create task or type of type: componentdef
Would you please give any insight into what can be done to resolve this issue.
Thank you and appreciate any help you can provide.
    -Arjen

    thank you.. it works..
not sure if this is something, that we need to configure differently in ANT1.81.
Apache site and ANT help messages in ant1.8.1 execute command mentions that this is not a bug..
in any case, appreciate your help on this to use ant 1.6.5
    regards
