I am in the market for a carry-case for my 1 Dx. The large body is too big for most cases.

I would like to use a case for everyday usage.  I thought some manufacturer made a larger case, but I haven't found one yet.  Any help?

This is what I ue for my 1 series bodies.

My CS3/PS has started to change the cursor into a line of three VERY small icons when dragged over a picture or menu. Thus it is VERY difficult for instance to drag a layer in the layer list to the wastebasket - the cursor simply is too big for the waistebasket icon. Even all other exact work is impossible.  Of course I have checked all the cursor presets but nothing seems to help. My OS is Windows7.

    Have you tried resetting Preferences?
A logical next step would be to reset your Preferences.
    To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created.

  • Could not complete your request because the result would be too big - cs3

I exported 1.32 minute of quicktime movie file from FCP into photoshop CS3 about five weeks ago.  Since then I've been diligently working on each individual frame.   I've about 10 seconds left to the end of file.  Unfortunately, I turned off my mac two nights ago and I can no longer open the file. The message says "could not complete your request because the result would be too big".  The file size is 1.16 GB and saved as .psd.  I'm working on Mac OS X 10.5.8.  Any suggestion or solution would be appreciated.

Thanks c.pfaffenbichler!  I did the command-alt-shift and I also increased the RAM in Performance-Preferences from 1963 (69%)  to 1782 (90%).  I got the same message.  I've to admit that I'm not very technique about Photoshop.  I'll have to search for the answers to your other questions.  Such as the set up for the Scratch Discs, optimizing and System Maintenance?  Your assistant would still be appreciated.

How are You set for RAM and Scratch Discs?
Have You tried optimizing Your Performance-Preferences yet?
As with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems You might try trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized settings like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences You’ve changed) by pressing command-alt-shift on starting the program and/or starting as a new User.
Other than that System Maintenance (repairing permissions, purging PRAM, running cron-scripts, etc.) should not do any damage either.

  • Could not complete the Move command because the result would be too big

trying to move a picture and I get "could not complete the Move command because the result would be too big".  It is the only layer.

    This is for version 13.1
I am getting this error as well.  I am trying to combine an ~19,000x3600pixel photo with an ~10,000x3600 pixel photo.  I created a blank file 30,000x4000pixel to put the 2 photos together.  I paste the larger photo into the blank file and position it to the vert center and horiz left of the blank file.  I then paste the smaller picture into the new file.  It goes in at the center in its own layer as expected.  As soon as I try to move it left or right I get the above error message. I can move it ALL the way left and it will stay.
Also if I just create the blank file and paste the larger file in it and move to the right or left by just a little (say with the cursor controls or mouse but move slightly) I get the error.  If I move all the way left it stays. If I move all the way right it gives an error BUT if I select undo move and redo move it goes to the right and stays.  I tried that with the small file but could not get it to stay right.
    all 3 are 72px/in

  • Scanning: The image size is too big. Please reduce the image height, width, resolution, scaling or output type.

    Good Day.
I have recently discovered an issue with scanning.  I have tried scanning straight from the printer, through image capture, and through preview.  All yeilding the same results since they are essentailly kicking off the same scanning applet.  I can scan a jpeg formatted file as long as I applet is in the "Hide Details" mode.  If I click on the "Show Details" button, which I need to do to scan to PDF, I immediately receive an error stating: The image size is too big. Please reduce the image height, width, resolution, scaling or output type.
I'm currently using an HP C5180 printer.   The most recently installed software was Adobe Digital Editions (I installed this to read an on-line e-book).  Not sure if there is any correlation.    Thanks for any help.

    Hello Sig
The scanner works with a Windows computer, which proves the device is functional at a cursory level. The drivers are now distributed by Apple and this is an Apple computer. There is no scanning software provided by HP. HP's answer is that Mountain Lion takes care of all of this.  I anticipate that some setting or driver was somehow tweaked since the scanner had been working with Mountain Lion until a few days ago.  The device in question is an Apple product. So, I'm pretty confident that I'm in the right place.

After identifying the exact connectors you need, check the Apple Store online and/or eBay...you should be able to buy a cable with the correct connector on each end, rather than fooling with an adapter.

Command (right) - click on the photo and select Fit to Frame in the contextual menu:
Not all frames in a theme offer that feature but most do.  The spread layout doesn't.

  • One hot mail e mail account the screen/font is too big

I have multiple e mail accounts that are linked. One of the accounts now has a font size too big for the screen. I cannot view anything without moving the bars up and down or left and right. Very annoying. When I go that e mail account with internet explorer the font size, screen is normal for that e mail account just like all the others. What do I do to get firefox to display the screen in default or normal size?

hi bee, thankyou for your trying to help, but unfortunately you missed a key word in my question. I am asking "mailbox" pane.
your answer is for the 3rd pane, the email message itself. i have no issue with that. properties has not changed in teh upgrade to maverick OS.
the 2nd pane (message listing) and 1st pane (listing of mailbox) HAS CHANGED in upgrade to maverick OSX.
what i learnt from apple support is:
pane 2: listing of what is in mailbox. -- was possible to change font in classic style. can continue to do this in maverick osx ONLY if you choose the option retain "classic style" under properties/view. else changing the setting in your screenshot has NO IMPACT in the new user interface.  so that in my book is bad coding. defect.
pane 1: listing of mailbox -- not possible.  and got uglier in maverick OS as now the font is even bigger. plain ugly and needs to be retified. i have about 10 mailboxes so all my screenspace is gone with just the mailboxes and requires scrolling to folders. boring....

  • The virtual keyboard is too big

I am an engineer working in the Chicago area. Sometime, I have to do inspection work on some structures and to make sure that the projects adhere to the rules and regulations of local, state, federal, etc.   Traditionally, we would be going through
several books, each one having several thousand pages long. I would have to look through tens of thousands of different values to plug into my calculations.
So, I started writing my own app to make my life easier.  Metro doesn't have an autocompletebox, so I had to write my own.  There are actually a lot of things that metro makes my life hard, but I've been overcoming them with codes.
The one thing that I cannot change is the keyboard.  The keyboard takes over almost 2/3 of the screen, covering up everything important.  This is an annoyance that I've been feeling and when other inspectors try out my app they also complain about
the same thing. It seems like you used braindead users for your research or something. People who do real work need to see more of the screen when we input values out in the field.
To solve this, I've had to disable the textboxes when there is no physical keyboard present and created my own keyboard that doesn't get in the way of the fields.
Why won't MS allow the option for us to resize or move the keyboard?  Why do we have to follow what bloggers and brain dead users do?
    Added by edit.
And no, changing the "size" of the split keyboard doesn't help.  The black area of the keyboard still takes over most of the screen.

Ok, let me explain a little more.
I am an engineer.  Sometimes, I have to go out to actual work sites and do inspection work.  I also do construction management on and off.  Traditionally, other engineers would be out there carrying large 3000+ reference books to look
through hundreds of thousands of possible values for the right values for the specific instance for their calculations.  They then would be fumbling around with their graph papers on clipboards and try to crank out calculations.  I used to do this
exact same thing.  The work is doubled when we would get back to the office and type everything out for a nice looking report.
A few months ago, I began working on an app using the surface so that when I'm out and about the winrt tablet would be doing all the calculations and graphings for me after I input in the appropriate values.  With the app, I can save the data to continue
the work later, save the results into nicely formatted pdf files, and print when I get back to the office.  When my boss started noticing my reports and then saw me using the MS surface in the field, he asked me about it.  After showing him what
I had, he said if my LOB app works out he will buy everyone in the company an MS surface.  It will definitely save us a lot of time.
Not all professions involve sitting comfortably in our office all the time reading blogs and facebook.  When MS did a study on input, did they even consider people who want to use the tablet for actual work?  Have you tried doing inspections and
inputting data using a laptop out in the field?

  • SQL1139n The total size of the table space is too big.

    Hi
Our R3 QA system runs on Solaris 10, using DB6 822.
We have now run into a problem, where we cannot extend a table. It is 66GB in size. Because the page file size is 8 kb, the limit is apparently 64 GB (we got it to 66GB).
It seems we will have to increase the page file size to get past the problem, say 16k or 32k. The question is how?
So far we have a framework in mind:
    Create new table
Copy old table into new table
    Drop old table
Recreate old table with bigger page file size
Copy new table into old table (now this new /old is getting confusing..)
Bob's you aunty, or something of that effect...
Is the thinking correct? If it is I will need much more detail, as I am not too familiar with DB2.
    Thanks in advance!

    hi derik,
the db6-specific limits for max tablespace/table size are
    64/128/256/512GB for 4/8/16/32KB pagesize.
for problems like "tablespace/table reaches its pagesize dependent max. size",
we (DB6 porting team of SAP) have developed a special tool/ABAP report called 'DB6CONV'.
DB6CONV takes care of everything concerning a table conversion.
it is in depth described in OSS note 362325. the report itself it delivered by means of a transport, which is attached to note 362325 and/or can be downloaded via sapmats.
in your case you have to
    a) get the latest DB6CONV transport and import it into your system
    b) create a new tablespace with a pagesize >8k
    c) assign a new data class for this tbsp in tables TADB6 (for data tbsp) and/or IADB6 (for index/tbsp)
    d) run DB6CONV from transaction SE38 as described in note 362325
to convert(transfer) the table that is at/near the size limit
by specifying either target tablespaces or target data class
    e) DB6CONV will duplicate the table first into the new tablespace, then copy the data into the newly created table. this can be done either 'offline' (fastes way, but table is not accessible during the conversion) or 'online' (slow, but table is accessible the whole time - despite a short time period when the switch from original to target table is performed)
please make yourself familiar with the tool and the documentation.
and feel free to ask if you need more information or have additional questions/remarks.
    regards, frank

  • CFX_Image seems to resize ok but the file size is too big??

    my host uses CFX_IMAGE v1.6.6.11 (
    http://80.79.138.227/cfximage/index.cfm
which does a perfectly good job of resizing images except for
the fact that the resultant file size is too large. i found that
compared to resizing images locally, resizing using this tag
resulted in file sizes of double the size.
i have tried tweaking the "quality" paramater but without
success, i could get the file size down but then the quality was
    poor.
so i am forced to resize images locally using macromedia
fireworks or MS paint before uploading them.
ideally i need to be able to resize images server side but
    without inordinate file sizes.
does anyone else use a cfx_image tag that's more efficient?
or does anyone else know how to get this tag to perform better?
any help would be very gratefully received.
    thank you

  • Time machine says the backup file is too big but...

Hi. My time machine back up stopped working.  It tells me that the back up file is too large.  I have a WD external 500GB Mybook.  I am trying to back up my 500GB MacBook.  "Get Info" on the MacBook indicates that there is 153GB on disk.  "Get Info" on the Mybook indicates that there is 278.8 GB available.  However, when I attempt to run backup in Time Machine I get the following message: "This backup is too large for the backup volume.  The backup requires 378.4 GB but only 278.8 GB are avalable..."
Why is Time Machine telling me that the backup file is 378.4GB when my MacBook shows that I only have 153GB on disk?  If I only have 153GB on disk, 278.8GB of free space in the backup volume should be sufficient for me to back up right? What am I missing here?

Same problem here, found any solution yet guys?

  • All fonts in the toolbars are way too big after unplugging my laptop from a projector

When I plugged in a projector to my laptop (2010 MacBook Pro) all icons & fonts on my laptop went huge! I was able to mostly restore the size of the icons & fonts on my desktop after I unplugged the projector, but I can't get the font size in my toolbars back to the normal, standard size. I've tried to reset to default settings, but it makes no difference.

Although the guide is a little dated, a lot of the information there is really great and helps you track down a lot of files that are just taking up way too much space on your hard drive.
    http://pondini.org/OSX/DiskSpace.html
I just did this the other day on my Air running 10.9 and recovered around 50GB of disk space, so there is potentially a lot you can do. I suggest following the steps on this guide (to the T, don't want to mess anything up) and go from there. Don't delete ANYTHING that you are not aware of the function, and remember that searching for names of files is a great way to determine whether or not you need it. Some files that SEEM like junk and take up a considerable amount of space are system files that will either be replaced the next time you boot up or render you computer useless entirely.
For example, there is a file that saves the state of your computer just before it goes to sleep so that it can return quickly when you start up again, and that file is normally the size of the amount of RAM you have (I have 4GB of RAM, so the file was 4GB). After doing some research, this file will either be recreated if deleted, or your sleep mode will not be able to function properly if the file is deleted. So again, just tread lightly.
Also, there is an application I used to get rid of a bunch of duplicate files that I had on my drive called Gemini (http://macpaw.com/gemini), which I recommend using to clean up documents. Again, be careful, you don't want to go deleting files that you are using that the application mistook for a duplicate.
    Hope this helps!

  • The bounding box is too big

I have a bounding box that is 6in wide x  4 in height. the image that i have on that box  is 4in wide by 4 in height. I have tried with the transform tool but it also
scales down the picture. I just want my picture to be 4in width by 4 in height

Might this image object be masked or grouped with other objects?
If push come to shove, just create a box at the right size, as a helper guide, then center your misbehaving image object on top of it and transform it, keep it centered as you do. Trial and error until done.
