http://www.muratec.com/new/support/drivers.asp does not appear to support that model at all on the Mac.
Some open source drivers* may exist to support it.

Use the Setup (wrench icon) button on the front of the printer to look through the settings menu to set the printer time and date.

what do i do when a audio book i purchased is not in purchased menu for re downloading for my account, or why cant i re download the book from iTunes store with out paying for it after support they told me i could.
i tried to re download a purchased audio book after i contacted apple support team for iTunes they said it would be ready for re download or they said id have to re download it from iTunes store i cant remember, so i tried both couldn't re download it from purchased menu and the book id have to re download from iTunes store costs money as if i have never purchased what do i do? I have bought 1 MacbookPor 17, 1 Macbook air, 1 MacbookPro 15 , 2 ipads, 3 iphones, and this iMac27 and 2 of iMAC24 or 20 not sure but I do not recall ever doing what you are telling me in your reply. When you get a extended car warranty, you don't sign up for it.. it is just there and is included in the sale. You don't buy this warranty to use it.. You buy it, in case something happens. Here a perfect iMAC with minimum 100 hour useage has a dead drive. That is not normal and I should not have to even be requesting anything since most MFG offer a 3-5 year warranty on their disc drives and I believe that is probably passed on to Apple regardless if an extended warranty is purchased or not. Customer service dictates a more flexible approach to make sure the lifetime value of a customer is not lost due to some misunderstanding.
I was in the MacStore that I purchased the unit..and they found and pulled the invoice and confirmed
the purchase of it in front of me. I had paid with credit card and fortunately it was there in their system. I do not also recall recieving any box or paper although most everything I ever get remains sealed.. I am not in the habit of opening anything since I have never encountered any serious issues before.
I have used my Macbookpro warranty 1 time and that is all throughout the years I have been investing in Apple equipment.
I just recieved a letter from the store asking me to get the paper to them so they can register it... I don't recall getting any paper actually. But I do have several boxes sealed here.. On this iMAC27, it was a hurry up and get it done thing and I don't remember taking anything extra with it. Regardless, my request does not seem unreasonable.

Just for my own privacy i would like to set up a password or pin number on my messgae app is there anything out there that will help me do this please comment if there is a possible solution out there. I know alot may say what you have to hide but ive got nothing to hide i just want one on there so my privacy is not broken by friends and family if they fancy playing on my phone and having a snoop round my phone.
If you visit these forums often, you will read about the 2 year old child who accidentally wiped out the parents phone, the kid who set a passcode and didn't remember what it was, etc etc etc

I once built an e-commerce site for a friend. He paid me $100
a month, plus
7% profit from the site for over two years to pay for it, so
I made around
$2,500 on it, just not all at once. Plus I had maintenance to
do on the
site. Since I got an e-mail every time he sold something, I
saw that in one
year the site generated about $28,000 for him, and all he was
selling was
little teacup nightlights. He'd buy teacups, cut them in
half, and put
little light fixtures in them. I no longer make anything off
of it, though.
As for doing it nowadays, I don't know. *I* don't like the
idea of running
a business, then spending a bunch of time on a website only
to have the
client tell me that they've changed their mind and don't need
the site after
I've already built it. Then I'd be forced to either take the
loss of time,
or go into a legal battle to get paid. I'd have to draw up
contracts, hire
a lawyer, etc..., and it's just a bunch of crap I don't want
to deal with.
Now if I had some kind of partner who gets off on running the
business side
so I can stay in the back room and just fill orders for
websites to be
built, that would be fine.
I once even thought of starting just a service for personal
web pages for
maybe older people who are easy to please and who just might
want a small
page with a few updates every now and then to add
photographs. To run this
business, I'd get an account with one of those webspace
resellers so I can
sell, say, a 5-megabyte account for $6.95 a month with one
minor page update
per month, and $5.00 for each additional update. Page setup
would be $20
for one page. I'd create, in advance, a set of graphics for a
bunch of
different styles. I dunno. I'd need a LOT of accounts to be
able to make
any decent money off prices being so low, but since none of
the sites would
be anything that big, any updates that are needed I could
take care of in
probably 10-15 minutes, at most. I'd just need some kind of
billing
software that allows me to add items and prices, then just
drag the item
into the user's account so their credit card is billed
automatically each
month for the right amount, or I could mail out paper bills
and run into
possibly dealing with bad checks.

Hi there! Yesterday, I installed Mavericks on my Macbook. Since then, it doesn't recognize my external hard disk drive anymore (at least not on the desktop. In Germany they call it "it doens't mount it". I don't know if it's the same expression in english?)
I just used it a week ago, before I did the update and it worked perfectly fine.
Is there anyone out there who knows a solution for this problem? I've been googleing for hours now and can't find any answer.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
all of sudden comcast and facebook pages do not load when i try to access them on my mac. all other websites are fine. any one out there having the same issue?
That's just not right - I mean, it really wrong to have to use a Windows machine to access your Facebook account. Can you pull up Comcast on IE as well?
Something's going on and I'm surprised that deleting your cache and cookies for those sites didn't work.

All four cartridges have have over 40% ink levels as per Self Test Diagnostic page.Printhead diagnostic says the print heads are "GOOD". Scanner works fine. Self Test Diagnostic Page prints in PINK color.Print quality TEST does not have black print on page.Printing and phot copying all come out blank.HELP.

I just received a new macbook pro. I am looking for a usb3 external storage 500 GB drive. Some manufacturers of drives aren't for sure their drive will work with the new system. Does anybody have any suggestions for drives that will workw
There seems to be a problem, just now, with the USB 3 ports on the new MBP's supporting eternal USB 3 drives. Some people have no luck at all - can't even recognize the drive - and some are reporting USB 2 speeds (those who drives are recognized). I'd call a dealer such as LaCie or OWC to see if they have USB 3 drives that actually work with MBP's with USB 3 ports. You may have to wait for a software/firmware update.

I have over 16,000 custom selected songs in my library. It's the most important thing on my computer by far. Before I purchase Match, I would like to know if other users really like it.

You need do nothing with it. You can keep it on your hard drive to access locally.

I have reason to believe my job is syping on me and i would like to know if there are viruses out there that can infect your Mac without you knowing anything. I believe there is one called "Finfisher".
FinFisher is an extremely high-priced spyware tool marketed to governments and law enforcement agencies. It's very unlikely that your employer would be able to obtain a copy.
Further, at this time, there is no known malware capable of infecting an up-to-date Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or newer. Of course, physical access changes the rules. If your employer has had unsupervised physical access to your machine, they could have done anything.
If they have had that access, and you truly believe that they have done that, there's only one way to clean your Mac up: erase everything and start over from scratch. See:

I am getting desperate trying to cancel by telephone a subscription to the NY Times since it expired on 01-15-13, and I tried to call to cancel and I even called the NY Times and spoke to an agent there that indeed located my subscription but could not help me cancel since I had bought it from iTunes.
He did give me a tel. number for iTunes but he did not vouch that it would help me since it ended up being a technicl support number and the lady I spoke with told me that she could not even tell me where to go to cancel and she of course could not cancel it so back to square 1.
I 'm concerned because my credit card did not have the funds to cover tha $34.99 charge, and escond, I have bought many apps. so far from your partners but now I am told that I will not be able to updare any of them as they offer updatings due to the payment problem on the NY Times although I did not even wish to buy it again from iTunes at all.
I have had an Apple I-phone as you can tell, for many years now and have the 3rd one right now and getting ready for May to come to upgrade to
the latest model, but with this service, I'm inclined to "fuhgetetabout-it" and go to Galaxy, etc., that are begining to sound very atractive as of today.

I tried to set up two libaries so my two ipods could sync different kinds of music. This wiped out my original Itunes - I have been trying to get it back to the way it was. I have is backed up on Simple Save but do not want to plug that aback in since I am afraid it will then take up the new situation instead of allowing me to put the data on simple save back to the computer for Itunes. I want to show my 908 songs that I have purchased and I cannot seem to do this... It shows in purchased= as 0-8 - but I cannot get them to list. What am I doing wrong. I know I should have left it alone and never attempted something I know nothing about~ Thanks

Need to know where I can find updated drivers for my OfficeJet 4500 G510n-z printer. I am using Windows 8.1 operating system.
I have tried using the link at HP, but at the point that it supposedly gets to the install window, it asks me to insert the disc that came with the printer. When I do that, I still get an error message saying something like "the link cannot be found." I also get another message at some pont indicating that the full version needs to be uploaded. Then, the same process starts all over again. I should add that the printer disc says that it is compatible with XP, Windows 7 and other earlier versions, but not 8 or 8.1
I have tried this 6 or 7 times with the same result. Dell (the company from which I bought the laptop) was useless and suggested I contact HP.
I can no longer scan, either, because the computer isn't recognzing that the printer has a scan function, so when I go to use PaperPort 12 to scan stuff, it doesn't recognize that a printer is attached.
Any help resolving these problems would be greatly appreciated.

I have up-dated LR to the latest version and like to use the plug-in for the import from the Aperture library. I follow the steps suggested by an article, have saved all picture into separate folders (folder = project name) and still, after the analysis of the library, the "import" button disappears and I am stuck and can't import.
Any ideas what can be done/must be done to get this working?
