Is ILIFE 06 Compatable with my new mac OS 10.9.4 New i movie is not good
iMovie 6 is compatible, but not the other applications.

before downloading the latest version of I-Tunes, I used to be able to view the ALBUM ARTWORK at bottom left when clicking on a song.
I am now unable to see the artwork.
Is it no longer possible with the updated software ??Correct, Apple have removed that feature. However, you can still see the artwork of the song that's playing; it's shown in the Now Playing indicator at the top of the iTunes window. It is small, but if you click on it, a larger version pops up.

Unable to see my library to sync my iPhone and iPad on my new iMac.
I've just replaced my iMac and cannot see my library on the sync window.
I have entered the library location into preferences but it will not see the library at all.
Hence I am unable to sync music to my iPhone and ipadHi ..
Syncing your music can be done via iTunes connecting your devices via USB to the iMac.
This process is not done via preferences.
You may need to authorize the new iMac.
Launch iTunes.
From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Authorize This Computer
Then sync your music > Sync your iPhone, iPad and iPod with iTunes using USB - Apple Support -

I looked at system.log in the system profiler today and see lots of activity at 2 a.m. when I was fast asleep, should I worry? It seems to reset hostname and mentions frequent transitions for interface, looks weird to me (I'm not a teckie!)

You don't need any kind of security software.
Just surf the web carefully, pay attention to where you're going and don't install anything that you don't recognize. If you are asked to enter an admin user name and password, DON'T. Unless you know for sure that you initiated the installation from a known and reliable source (like Apple).
Mac malware relies on social engineering. No amount of security/anti-virus, blah, blah, blah software is going to help. -
I just got a new Mac yesterday and I am trying to connect my Logitech headset for work but can't! I plug it into the USB but nothing pops up and I can't find where I go to look to see if it's connected. HELP!

when I'm looking at my recent text messages on my phone, and I'm on the screen where I see a list of people I have texted. I click on a name to open up the conversation, however it is blank and doesn't show the conversation even though we've been texting back and forth the day before. So my question is how can I see the conversation?
Try the following procedure:
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss) -
I am looking to see if anyone has figured out, from their iPad in Numbers how to calculate percentages or sums totalling other columns or rows?
The issue is I bought the G4 from my buddy a few months ago... the machine has been abused to say the least, both inside and out. It is almost falling apart and has a BUNCH of programs loaded on it. I have always used a PC and am still familiarizing myself with Macs, I need to clean out the machine and dump all the excess applications and files that are causing problems.
I think this is why I am having some trouble. Sometimes it works just fine, but I am only working with a few simultaneous tracks at a time. I am using the virtual instruments at this time but will be running guitars and bass through an external sound card soon. Similar to what you are doing it sounds like.
Anyway, wanted to give you some more insight. Last night it seemed to work alright, I am not going to rush into buying anything until I absolutely have to but want to get some direction as far as what I should be looking at.

I pre-ordered an album and i did not get it! i payed 14 some dollars for it and never received it i checked to see if i bought it and it said i did. i looked to see if i could re download the album but i dont know how please help!
If you are in a country where music can be redownloaded then it should show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone, and the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If it doesn't show there then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes find it ?

i just uploaded the new os7 software. i like it. however my podcasts seem to be hidden and for the life of me, i can't find them. i was looking in the music icon. please help me feel less stupid:)
Got to settings/general/spotlight search and tick podcasts. Then when on the home screen if you swipe down from the middle of the screen the spotlight search window appears and you can search for podcasts

Where Do I Look to See What Version of iTunes I'm Running?
OK, probably a simple, simple answer (and perhaps a dopey question!) -- but where do I look to see what version of iTunes I'm running? I've looked in obvious places (on every tab in my itunes library, right clicked on itunes tab on desktop and checked properties). I actually have no clue as to what version I'm running.
Also, I'm debating about updating (uh, NO not to 7.7. or 7.7.1) but to an older version. Does anyone know what older version worked w/out all the 'bugs'? I've seen 7.6.something listed many times and folks saying that version worked great until they updated to 7.7. Did this version work ok? Any way to conjur up this box? When I plug in my ipod, it just brings up the registration page. I click 'register later', and the page stays. I click 'never register' and the page stays. I click 'continue' and fill out information and click 'submit' and that last page just stays. It won't even let me cancel out of the page and just bring up my summary page. I'd gladly never see this message again but how do I do that?

Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage. Select your device. Each app should have an on/off switch, so you can choose which apps' data will be included in the next backup.
