I am taking courses online and the newer version of firefox 4.0 isn't compatible with the java, which I use on my web page. And I need to go back to the older version of 3.614. How do I reverse to what I had before?

I need to get another version of firefox other than 4.0. due to the version not compatible or is unknown to the java I'm using on my web for online classes.

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side.

Did you install the latest driver set for the device? there is a new release on motu.com for mavericks.

I believe this to be a browser issue, not a google search results issue, and here is why:
having updated Firefox only yesterday, I visited google images searching for pancakes.... interestingly, I have the NEW image results (yuck) on Firefox 3.6.8, I have the OLD image results on IE8 and Opera 10.53.
When I use the 'switch to basic version' in Firefox 3.6.8, indeed it DOES revert to the new format next time I image search (in Firefox).
For those of us who prefer the OLD image results page, I guess we will just have to switch browsers for google image search.
Now I'm off to research how to get rid of the UGLY FFox sidebar.

My Kaspersky Password manager and a whole list of things I use daily have been disabled. I want to go back to my older version of Mozilla. How do I do that.

The new version does not support alot of the programs that I used daily, like my Kaspersky Password Manager (which is essential), I can't remember all of my usernames and passwords. If I can't use this feature, then I don't want the new version. How do I go back to the older version? Otherwise, I'll be forced to use Internet Explorer.

Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended. Firefox 3.6.18 would be the safer choice.
Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older

You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.

You got it backwards, add-ons need to be compatible with Firefox, not the other way around. When Firefox is updated, the add-on needs to be updated.
The Firefox version of that toolbar, available from here - http://www.linkedin.com/static?key=browser_toolbar_download - and here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/linkedin-companion-for-firefox/- hasn't been updated for Firefox 5.0 yet.
You can force "compatibility" with this extension, but if that extension isn't coded correctly for Firefox 5.0, it ain't gonna fix it. <br />

You'll have to see how well that add-on works in Firefox 5.0.

The new update for Firefox 6.0 is not allowing me to add it, without adding two toolbars specifically IMVU and Norton, that I don't want to add and the update will not allow me to remove them

How can I get Java to fill out form on web page and submit?

I need to write a Java program that will submit a HTML form. I tried using POST already, but the only response I got back was the source code for the page itself. Looking more closely, I realized that there is a PHP script that will actually take the data from the forms and use it. How can I get Java to enter the data on the forms automatically and then run this PHP script? I don't need code, just a pointer in the right direction should do.

If you are writing a program to submit a form,how come the PHP script come out of nowhere ? At this momemnt you are just writing some Java program,isn;t it ?
My feeling is you are trying to edit some pre-written code.

I had this same problem when my school's email page refused to work in Firefox 5. I solved it by installing the User Agent RG extension, then changing my user agent to IE7 before accessing my school email. Once you install the extension, you'll have to show your menu bar when you want to use it, then you'll find the User Agent submenu under the Tools menu. Hope this works for you, too.
