I am trying to access my jsp pages through mod_ose

When I enter the url to my context in my web browser it returns the error message:
'Service Temporarily Unavailable'
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
I have increased my processes, java pool size and shared pool size but I still get this message.
Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

This happens very frequently during development, I just do ctrl+F5 in IE to keep refreshing till I finally get a response back from the jsp or servlet... usually it takes about 2-4 refreshes to get the jsp to respond and after that its smooth till you change the jsp or restart Apache. Also this problem, in my experience, is associated with Apache forwarding requests to OSE via mod_ose and I dont see this problem if I access the jsp directly using the database listener http endpoint.
Hope this helps.

  • Daniel or anyone else, Help on why I can't access certain jsp pages

    I have installed the Web Service Portlet Wizard to build my portlets. In particular,
    I have created a URL porlet jsp which receives its content from a URL.
    This URL that I retrive is an application that I have running on my Weblogic 6.1
    Server. I can access the login page, and can logon and do a few things but for
    some reason I Can't access certain pages. The pages I can't access are also jsp
    pages on the wlserver6.1 server(exactly the same as other ones I can access and
    interact with).
    The error I receive on the Portal Front end is attached in a word doc. I have
    also included in there, a snapshot of the access log for those pages, but I can't
    really make out what it is telling me (if anything!).
    For one of the pages, that I can't successfully access I get java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
    This only happens with 1 of the pages. But trying to access the same page withouth
    going thru the portal I get NO errors what so ever.
    Please if anyone can give me any information on why I can't access certain pages
    via my portal It would be very helpful.
    Finally I have included the code of my Portlet which accesses the URL. This is
    also included in the word doc.
    Thanks
    Ramy
    [Portal.doc]

    Ramy,
    I don't know the Web Service Portlet Wizard too well, but I notice that
    login.htm never seems to be found (404 in logs). I would think that the two
    warnings below your JSP call (cookies, and portlet state) are your most
    likely culprits. If the Web Service Portlet Wizard does not handle cookies
    then the portal server will have to continiously reauthenticate. I will
    forward your email however and see if I can dig up a better diagnosis. Also,
    could you post the stack trace for the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException you
    are seeing.
    Sincerely,
    Daniel Selman

  • HT5622 valid apple id but not icloud account.  I tried downloading on a different computer and logging in and it did not work.  I have restarted my computer several times.  I have changed my password several times.  I have tried to access the icloud page.

    repeating error message reads: "valid apple id but not icloud account." when trying to start my icloud account.  I tried downloading on a different computer and logging in and it did not work.  I have restarted my computer several times.  I have changed my password several times.  I have tried to access the icloud page.  Nothing has worked.  Now I have this stupid app and some of my music is still not being shared on both of my computers.

    I have the same problem signing in...but, I finally got a screen saying you have to set up a account on a device..like an ipad to get a iCloud sign in ...my apple id is [email protected]   and this screen reset to [email protected]
    If you don't have an apple device you may be out of luck.  I don't know.  I'm still waiting for help just as you are...good luck to both of us though.

    When using OS X yosemite 10.10.2 and trying to access a web site I get the message server error 403 only with one site (loan application)

    Web server error 403 = Forbidden - It's nothing to do with Yosemite nor Safari.  The web server may be having a problem.  Usually it's a permissions issue on the server side.  But one thing that can happen is that you have a bookmark that is pointing somewhere that is not allowed.  Try navigating to the page from the root of the server.  You might have to start at an earlier authentication page then navigate to the "loan application" page.  It's possible you bookmarked a page that requires authentication and the web server loan application software was not written in a friendly manner to redirect you back to a login page.  Also try clearing your cache and cookies.  Safari menu -> Clear History and Website Data.  You might have an old cookie that needs to be deleted.

    jdev_home/jdev/redist folder . It will overwrite an existing uix2_install.zip file.
    Close and open the Jdeveloper IDE. It will prompt you for upgradation of projects. Press OK button in response.
    Now you should be able to run the JSP pages.

  • StackOverflowError - when trying to run a JSP Page in JDeveloper

    Hello all,
    I am experiencing an error when I try to run a .jspx page in JDeveloper (10.1.3.3). Below is the error I am getting. Any idea where I need to look to resolve this memory issue?

    I don't see any errors or warnings in the Structure. I am going through the Veeva Vacations example from the WebCenter Demos and Samples page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/owcs_10132_demos.html). There is nothing complex about the page it just contains an ADF Read-only table based on a Database table. I was able to run it successfully and then another time I ran it I got that error. It seems to me as though it is a memory issue as opposed to a page error. I am just not sure where to look to allocate more memory.

  • Forwarding JSP page through requestdispatcher problem in submiting form

    Hello everyone,
    I am very much new to servlet.
    My problem is somewhat this....
    when i am forwarding one JSP page by requestdispather , there is no problem.But after that when i am trying to submit one html form written inside the jsp page , the request is not submiting the jsp page rather it resides in the servlet.
    The code in servlet is
    RequestDispatcher rd =getServletContext().getRequestDispatcher("/applyConfirm.jsp");
    rd.forward(request,response);
    Now in (applyConfirm.jsp )jsp page one button is there , so when i will click that button the page has to be submitted.But its not submitting rather the request resides in the servlet.
    Dose someone will have any idea.
    Thanks in advance

    First check what sort of button you are using. It should be of "submit" type.
    Check the URL to witch URL it is submitting i.e. Action property in <FORM> tag.
    Make sure for the URLs in the client i.e HTML ex: href, action, and so on use the thumb rule of prefixing "<%=request.getContextPath()%>/" in your JSP or in servlet add it in the java code.
    This should solve the relative URL reference problem.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers.

  • Problems opening JSP pages through netbeans

    I recently upgraded from netbeans 5.5RC1 to netbeans 5.5 and am no longer able to open JSP pages. I am still able to edit java pages and I am still able to compile/build packages, however I get the following error when attempting to open the JSP pages. Any input/help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

    This happens very frequently during development, I just do ctrl+F5 in IE to keep refreshing till I finally get a response back from the jsp or servlet... usually it takes about 2-4 refreshes to get the jsp to respond and after that its smooth till you change the jsp or restart Apache. Also this problem, in my experience, is associated with Apache forwarding requests to OSE via mod_ose and I dont see this problem if I access the jsp directly using the database listener http endpoint.
    Hope this helps.

  • Tags not recognized when compiling the jsp pages through appc

    Hi:
    I am trying to convert a web application from weblogic 9.1 to weblogic 10.3. However, when I try to build the ear file the page compilation fails with the error:
    weblogic.utils.compiler.ToolFailureException: jspc failed with errors :weblogic.servlet.jsp.CompilationException: projectFinancials.jsp:10:2: The tag handler class was not found "jsp_servlet._tags.__projectJobCostingLayout_tag
    However, the tag file is there.
    The tags are referenced through this declaration:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <web-app version="2.4" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/web-app_2_4.xsd">
    <taglib>
    <taglib-uri>http://name/app/tagfiles</taglib-uri>
    <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/tags</taglib-location>
    </taglib>
    </web-app>
    All the declarations in the jsp pages are fine. In weblogic 9.1 I don't have any problem. I also set the <backward-compatible>true</backward-compatible> in weblogic.xml.
    Any idea?
    Thanks!

    There is no need to use tld files with tag files when it comes to running the ear file through appc. When I do development I use a tld file that contains references to all the tag files, however my build process replaces that with the tag files directory:
    So, during development I have:
    web.xml:
    <taglib>
    <taglib-uri>http://name/cps/tagfiles</taglib-uri>
    <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/tld/mytags.tld</taglib-location>
    </taglib>
    mytags.tld:
    <taglib xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee
    http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/web-jsptaglibrary_2_0.xsd"
    version="2.0">
    <tlib-version>1.0</tlib-version>
    <short-name>mytags</short-name>
    <uri>mytaglib</uri>
    <tag-file>
    <name>agreementDetailsLayout</name>
    <path>/WEB-INF/tags/agreementDetailsLayout.tag</path>
    </tag-file>
    During the build I have:
    web.xml:
    <taglib>
    <taglib-uri>http://name/app/tagfiles</taglib-uri>
    <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/tags</taglib-location>
    </taglib>
    If I don't do this appc will have a fit of even bigger proportions (more error messages etc.)
