I am trying to download FireFox for Vista and it gets to the RUN screen, I click on it and it seems to download but never actually gets loaded????
I tried to download Firefox for Vista. It gets to the run screen, I hit run, it seems to download but then the window dissappears and I still don't have Firefox installed. I have tried this several times.
Don't use '''Run''', save the Firefox setup file and do the installation separately from the download.

I downloaded Firefox 4 onto my PowerPC G4, 1.67GHz running Mac OSX 10.5.6. I can't search for apps by pulling down on the home screen. Today view in Notification Center is turned off, but today view comes up when I pull down, not Spotlight Search.
Pull down starting in the middle of the home page, not at the top.

I'm trying to download on windows vista. I've restarted my computer, totally shut down and tried downloading at least 7 different times. I even tried downloading in safari instead of internet explorer.

I have books from three accounts, I am authorized on all of them but I can't get them all to download onto my iPod. This is not a lack of memory, I am getting a message about authorization.
The books play on the computer, so they are downloaded into iTunes, I just can't get them all on to the iPod - hope someone can help.To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them. -
Can't get past the activation screen for iphone 3Gs
I am trying to activate the iphone 3Gs after switching from blackberry. When I turn the phone on, I get to the "welcome"screen, I choose my country and then given the option to activate through WiFi or iTunes. When I activate through WiFi, I get a message saying that the activation server is unavailable and to try again in a few minutes ( tried it again and was unsuccessful). I then attempt to activate through iTunes and receive a message saying that there is no SIM card in the phone (when there is). I am stuck here with a phone that is not working! I do not know what to do. I took it into Apple for them to check it out and they can't find the problem. Maybe someone has come across this issue and had it resolved? Please share!

MCHS0000You are asking in a thread that is 18 months old. Whatever.
Here are possible causes for that message:
1. Your antivirus is blocking access to gs.apple.com.
2. Your phone is jailbroken.
3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
For 1. try disabling your antivirus.
For 2. & 3. you need to go somewhere other than an apple forum for help. Although you can try deleting lines containing gs.apple.com from your "hosts" file on your computer.
Windows: c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Mac: /etc/hosts -

I'm trying to download firefox for my laptop...but when I start to download when it says who the file is coming from it does not say Mozilla or Firefox or anything familiar so I want to make sure I am on the right page and downloading the right thing so I don't invite a virus onto the laptop
If apps are popping up that need an update and it is the "friend's" Apple ID, those are apps that he downloaded to your iPad.
Anyway...Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID>Tap the ID and sign out. Sign in with your ID. -

Some sites work but home page is only streaks of color no text in the body of page. Address is ledgible and a few other items like icons.

Could you please specify your problem? Are you trying to get to the "awesome screen" (firefox home on android) If so, you just close your current tab or open a new tab. To do this, tap the top left of your screen in Firefox. This is to the left of the back button. Now you either slide down a tab to close it, or tap the "+" sign at the top left while at your tab area. And also, there is no exact home button while in Firefox for android, only in desktop Firefox (at least there used to be). Hope this helps in some way! -

Download Firefox for Mac fails - no file downloaded.
I try to download Firefox for mac (OSX 10.7.5), and it looks like it is being downloaded (on Safari) but there is no file in the download folder, and no invitation to drag the icon to the applications window. Checked desktop, applications, and documents folder. It just isn't there.

Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:

Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update, and then search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.
