In this context, the 8003 suggests the files are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

I have bought complete albums in the past... Now that I am trying to download them from the cloud, some songs no longer appear in My Purchases... How can/do I retrieve them?
Do those tracks still show on the album in the store ? If not then the rights-holder must have removed them, in which case you won't be able to redownload them, you will have to copy them back from your backup of your downloads/library. If you are having issues downloading and installing iTunes, or if your computer for some reason thinks you have already installed iTunes when you have not, you may want to try manually removing all of the associated iTunes files and reinstalling the application entirely from scratch. It's happen to me and maaaaaannnny others. You can either Create. New account and delete the old one. If that don't help uninstalling and reinstlling iTunes may help.

Installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.2 Client Combo will hopefully fix this problem for you.
It's ok to install the combo even though you are already running v10.7.2
Make sure and restart your Mac after the combo is installed then try to download apps.
