i am trying to set up an eprint account and to do so i need to give an email address, having done so i am being told my email address is already being used. i cannot add another address as i do not have one. help

I hope you are having a great day and sorry to learn that you are having this issue.
Let's try this -
To help you better I will need to know the following; What printer do you have? Please include complete printel model.
It may help later if you let me know what (OS) Operating system you are using.

Before you try any troubleshooting steps do the following;
- Erase all cookies and browsing history.
- Do not include signatures in your email.
- Restart the computer.
I will also take the following general steps to ensure that this is not creating an issue.
- Set an Static IP address to the printer. Depending on your printer model will be the procedure to do this.
- Use Google public DNS servers which are 8.8.8.8 and alternate Server is 8.8.4.4 the way you set this is
Also this is what I heard from other members of the forum.
I heard here (other members of the community) that there is an issue that engineer are working on diligently that may be affecting this particular process. At the same time I know that other members have some success using this steps aforementioned.

Are you trying to call yourself to test FaceTime? If so, you must have a second E-Mail address registered with your Apple ID. In other words, there must be a different E-Mail address on each unit.

In trying to add my most used email address to connect to facetime on my iphone I receive an error message saying I cannot use that address as it is already being used.
FaceTime works over the internet. You place a FT call to an iPhone using the iPhone's phone number, no matter the device; iPhone, iTouch, iPad or Mac, making the call. FT calls all go through Apple's server farms and the iPhones are registered by their phone number in the FT data base.
Using FaceTime
Once configured and enabled on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Mac, FaceTime will automatically receive incoming calls from other FaceTime users as long as your iOS device is connected to a Wi-Fi network, or your Mac is connected to the Internet—the latter in any way.
Outgoing FaceTime calls must be initiated by selecting a contact in your address book—there is no means to manually dial a FaceTime phone number or e-mail address. This means that anybody you wish to contact via FaceTime must be in your address book.
To place calls to a FaceTime user on an iPhone, you must use their cellular phone number. An iPhone cannot register for FaceTime with an e-mail address. To place calls to a FaceTime user on an iPod touch or a Mac you must use one of their registered FaceTime e-mail addresses that is configured on that particular device.
This may be a little out of date, as you can now register an email address for an iPhone I believe, but the address should be unique to the iPhone. -

No, "My Number" was not listed in my Phone menu, I had to manually type it it. Is there a way for that number to automatically be listed in that "My Number" spot? Would that maybe have something to do with my phone number not being listed as an option in the "Send and Receive" spot under messaging???

It is my valid email address at gmail. Why is it rejected and preventing me from setting up sync? I use Windows8 and Linux Mint.

Firefox > Set up sync > create an account - this screen tells me my username/email is already in use. i have reset the password but now need my recovery key. I have no idea what this is as i do not remember setting up an account in the past.
hello aaronmcl4, go to ''firefox > sync > setup sync > i have an account > i don't have the device with me'', fill in your account name and password and click on "i have lost my other device" in order to initiate a reset of the recovery key.

IF I want and need a backup email address, why can't I use my sons, I know he made a gamecenter account and apple I'd wand stuff, but I should still be able to use his email to backup my account. It's the only other email we access and its the best and safest one to have. Pls help

If the problem persists after you reboot as suggested by Ralph:
Trouble connecting usually means interference, or another WiFi on the same channel.
If you have any cordless phones, keyboards, or cameras, check what frequency they use.
From a MAC or Windows machine you can see what channel each of the available networks are using. Make sure your network is on a channel nobody else nearby is also using. -
