  • Unable to see the main menu of crimson skies.

    Hi! I have a small problem with my latest purchase, crimson skies. I have tried it before and I know that it is a great game. It installs fine and starts up nicely, no problems there, but after it reaches "main menu", i cannot see it, only the backround shows (moving pirate flag). I tried software rendering and i can see the menu just fine but it aint really candy for eyes to use software rendering.    I read about this problem on other support forums and they said that it is because of "power 2?" texture rendering (no idea what it is) and they also said that it is a problem with "new" graphic cards (my system runs on MSI GF 4600 Ti). Last time i played it with an TNT 2 card and it worked fine.
    I was wondering would anyone know an way to get it to work (other than using software rendering or swaping tnt 2 back) or will the tnt 2 even work with it anymore because of detonator drivers?
    Thank you for any answers you can provide and sorry for incorrect english!

    yeah but they are not helping  , i could try to swap to my tnt 2... but even IF it works, it lowers overall performance BADLY

  • HT4098 I am unable to find the main account page so that I can manage my subscriptions. Can somebody help me?

    I'm trying to manage my subscriptions but can't seem to navigate my way around and find the page on my iPhone. Somebody please help?

    Do the instructions on this page not help : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098 ?
    If you have any auto-renewing subscriptions then you should be able to see them by going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone, tapping your id and selecting View Apple ID on the popup - if you don't have any auto-renewing subscriptions then it won't appear on your account page.

  • The dreaded "could not find the Main Class, Program will exit", how?

    Hello all,
    I am trying to run my .jar file and I get this error message.
    I want to mention I googled and searched for it, without success: There is so many different explanations!
    I tried this:
    Adding some lines in a manifest.fm file...
    Manifest-Version: 1.0
    Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.7.0
    Created-By: 10.0-b19 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
    X-COMMENT: Main-Class will be added automatically by build
    I have Netbeans 5.5.
    Also I noticed my "build.xml" file is empty" and my "manifest.fm" nearly empty. I have also added "project, main class" in the options...
    Here is my "build":
    {code}<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!-- You may freely edit this file. See commented blocks below for -->
    <!-- some examples of how to customize the build. -->
    <!-- (If you delete it and reopen the project it will be recreated.) -->
    <project name="BetaCourseworkJava3d_Final" default="default" basedir=".">
    <description>Builds, tests, and runs the project BetaCourseworkJava3d_Final.</description>
    <import file="nbproject/build-impl.xml"/>
    <!--
    There exist several targets which are by default empty and which can be
    used for execution of your tasks. These targets are usually executed
    before and after some main targets. They are:
    -pre-init: called before initialization of project properties
    -post-init: called after initialization of project properties
    -pre-compile: called before javac compilation
    -post-compile: called after javac compilation
    -pre-compile-single: called before javac compilation of single file
    -post-compile-single: called after javac compilation of single file
    -pre-compile-test: called before javac compilation of JUnit tests
    -post-compile-test: called after javac compilation of JUnit tests
    -pre-compile-test-single: called before javac compilation of single JUnit test
    -post-compile-test-single: called after javac compilation of single JUunit test
    -pre-jar: called before JAR building
    -post-jar: called after JAR building
    -post-clean: called after cleaning build products
    (Targets beginning with '-' are not intended to be called on their own.)
    Example of inserting an obfuscator after compilation could look like this:
    <target name="-post-compile">
    <obfuscate>
    <fileset dir="${build.classes.dir}"/>
    </obfuscate>
    </target>
    For list of available properties check the imported
    nbproject/build-impl.xml file.
    Another way to customize the build is by overriding existing main targets.
    The targets of interest are:
    -init-macrodef-javac: defines macro for javac compilation
    -init-macrodef-junit: defines macro for junit execution
    -init-macrodef-debug: defines macro for class debugging
    -init-macrodef-java: defines macro for class execution
    -do-jar-with-manifest: JAR building (if you are using a manifest)
    -do-jar-without-manifest: JAR building (if you are not using a manifest)
    run: execution of project
    -javadoc-build: Javadoc generation
    test-report: JUnit report generation
    An example of overriding the target for project execution could look like this:
    <target name="run" depends="BetaCourseworkJava3d_TestsBACKUPSUNDAY05April-impl.jar">
    <exec dir="bin" executable="launcher.exe">
    <arg file="${dist.jar}"/>
    </exec>
    </target>
    Notice that the overridden target depends on the jar target and not only on
    the compile target as the regular run target does. Again, for a list of available
    properties which you can use, check the target you are overriding in the
    nbproject/build-impl.xml file.

    my Manifest:

    I cant believe this little comment has been so helpful!
    But yes it is:
    I explain, despite my efforts to find, googled it, forums, faqs, etc...
    no where it mentionned the manifest.fm file is... INSIDE the .jar!
    Your comment "a zip" made me attempt to open it with winrar, and I found a manifest.fm file inside!
    So far I was editing the one at the "source" of my project and rebuilding it with netbeans.
    I am going to try that now.
    Actually.... :( no its mentionning my main class!

    Oh and I felt on your comment "dont ask us" as if I was suppose to know... i'm a beginner, I did not know that! And I tried to give you so many infos so you dont lose your time if you want to help, especially as after my own research I found many, many results for this "main class" and I tried a few solutions!

  • Unable to find the calculation manager option in menu

    Hi All,
    I configured calculation manager in my machine [version: 11.1.2]. I am unable to find the calulation manager option in the menu[Navigate->Administer->calculation manager].
    calculation manager is up and running . Kindly guide me to overcome it.
    Thanks and Regards

    If calc manager was installed after the web configuration, re-run the web comfiguration step. You may also need to cycle the OHS service on foundation afterwards.

  • When clicking on the Finder icon in the dock the Main Menu grays out ... what's wrong ... how do I fix?

    Product: iMac, OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)
    Processor: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory: 32 GB 160 MHz DDr3
    Storage: 3.12 TB Fusion Drive
    PROBLEMS:
    1. When clicking on the Finder icon in the dock, the main menu grays out and the window with documents, applications etc., does not pop up.
    2. iMac is not showing up in iCloud.com and, not syncing with my MacBook Pro, iPad Mini and iPhone.
    This situation seemed to appear after doing updates on my iMac.
    TROUBLESHOOTING I'VE TRIED:
    1. rebooted,
    2. repaired permissions,
    3. booted in safe-mode and let the basic tests run then rebooted to normal mode. Afterwards, the problem seemed to be corrected, however, it re-appeared shortly thereafter and still exists.

    Go to the Finder's General preference pane and reset the New Finder windows show: option.  Try changing it to some other folder, try it and then back again.
    If that doesn't jump start it try moving the com.apple.finder.plist file from your Home/Library/Preferences folder to the Desktop, reboot and then reset the Finder preferences.
    For Mavericks and Yosemite go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

  • I have just connected my new apple tv, in the main menu I see only two icons; "computers" and "settings".  Where do I find the icons for internet, movies etc. We do not live in the US..

    I have just connected my new apple TV and in the main menu see only two icons: computers and settings.  How do I access the rest of the icons (internet, movies etc...)  We do not live in the US.  The unit has full WiFi access with no problems, I can access ITunes on my laptop via home sharing no problem.

    Glad that this solved your problem but if you searh past threads there are a LOT of people with identical problems.
    Reading through the threads my take is
    There seems to be something awry with wifi chipset. Typical symptoms are initially being able to connect to connect to a Wifi network then the connection is dropped. Then you see just the 'computers' and 'settings' icons on screen
    Power off, reset and factory restore doesnt seem to solve it
    Occasionally its nearby antenna cables etc causing interference
    One report with convincing evidence it was the HDMI cable, swapping to anotehr cable fixed the problem
    Plugging in ethernet works, this is purely a wifi issue
    Sometimes plugging in ethernet temporararily wakes up the wifi
    Many people seem to have exchanged their units only for the same thing to happen to the new unit a few weeks later. Just wondering if its a fomponent fail or heat issue.

    I am not able to see blackberry app world in the main menu after the update. I have tried all the options as mentioned in the forum. I am using Bold 3 9780 blackberry verion 6.0
    Please provide a solution as I am not able to download anything.

    I don't know what you've tried at this point.
    You could try loading from http://rroyy.com/ota/ using the blackberry browser or
    try to install it using the desktop manager:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Fn1T5D_Vw0
    It should be listed, but can't verify this.
    An extreme fix is to reload the OS.

    I have downloaded pics to my Ipod Nano and successfully viewed them in the past.
    Accessing the Photo Option from the Main Menu, the only option I see is for Slideshow Settings. The option for actually playing a Slideshow seems to have disappeared.

    I was able to resolve this issue by performing following.
    1. Go to the location where sqldeveloperW.exe is being executed from.
    2. You will find a file sqldeveloper.conf in that location. Edit this file and change the value of IncludeConfFile to point to actual place. For me following were old and new values.
    OLD (Wrong) : IncludeConfFile ../../jdev/bin/ide.conf
    NEW (Correct) : IncludeConfFile ../../ide/bin/ide.conf
    After making above change in the sqldeveloper.conf file. Save and close it. Restart SQLDeveloper. You will not get the error anymore.
    Thanks

    Lars,
    Â Have you read the CRnet_deployment.doc if not it may help fix your problem (It didnt mine but hey you may be lucky) See http://support.businessobjects.com/communitycs/technicalpapers/crnet_deployment.pdf
    I have a similar issue but in 2003.net using the bundled CR package. I'm trying to use CR in a Web Service called from a Compact Framework device. I've confirmed I'm using the correct Merge Modules & my Build Actions are all set as stated in the CR Application Deployment document but it still spits out Unable to find the report in the manifest resources
    I've looked extensively on the net and while others have had this problem the only advice I've seen revolves around embedded build actions and using the correct merge modules. There must be something else causing this problem and some one who has found a way round it?!?
    If your that someone please take 5 minutes out and help a couple of guys in distress?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ian

  • Could not find the main class : HelloWorldApp program will exit

    please help me
    i downloaded and installed jdk-6u13-windows-i586-p(1) from sun.java.com
    in my computer --> Advanced --> environment variables --> i had set
    user variable :
    variable value
    java_home C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_13\bin
    System variable:
    path : C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_13\bin
    after that i wrote a program
    * The HelloWorldApp class implements an application that
    * simply prints "Hello World!" to standard output.
    class HelloWorldApp {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    System.out.println("Hello World!"); // Display the string.
    i saved in c:\ mywork
    i compiled it with
    javac HelloWorldApp.java and then
    java HelloWorldApp
    output / result also came
    but iam unable to create jar file . when it is created it is showing
    could not find the main class : HelloWorldApp program will exit
    i created jar file by following way
    i created
    manifest.txt
    Min-Class : HelloWorldApp and then

    You have to specify the manifest with a special option (I think its was -M)
    Otherwise the jar will create one (even if you provide it)No, the text file passed as a parameter will be incorporated in the manifest file generated by the JAR tool.
    @OP: This will work:
    JarTest.java
    public class JarTest {
      public static void main(String[] args) {
        System.out.println("JarTest works!");
    }manifest.txt
    Main-Class: JarTest+(note there is an extra new line in the manifest.txt!)+
    Now execute these commands:
    javac JarTest.java
    jar cfm MyJar.jar manifest.txt JarTest.class
    java -jar MyJar.jar And on my machine, the string "JarTest works!" is displayed on the screen.
    And if you look in the MANIFEST.MF file inside your jar file (you can use almost any zip-utility for this), you will see the following:
    Manifest-Version: 1.0
    Created-By: 1.6.0_0 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
    Main-Class: JarTestOr something similar.
