I am unable to get common.jar

I have the following path but my basis consultant is on leave for a week
common.jar (c:\usr\sap\<version>\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\bin\ext\com.sap.portal.common)
Is there any other path from which I can get the common.jar file.
May be from the portal is it possible to download this file .
If yes please specify the path.
10 to one who sends me the .jar at [email protected]

Hi,
you will find the same in google. Its not related to sap. Its related to java. Most of the applications servers need this file.
In MQ Server also you will find this jar.
Thanks,

    Hello Sanjay,
This should work without any problems. Can you provide your manifest.mf file?
Meanwhile, refer to the following link for more documentation about WebLogic classloading
and how to specify a manifest.mf file to do what you're trying to achieve:

  • IFS-20010 Unable to get service configuration

    Hi,
I'm trying to connect to iFS from a Java application. Basically it's a remote server which we'll connect to using RMI for some integration work. It will run on the same server as CM SDK.
Anyway, I try and connect to the service using:
    LibraryService.startService(name, schemaPassword, serviceConfig, domainName)
and it comes back with this error:
oracle.ifs.common.IfsException: IFS-20102: Unable to start service (IfsDefault)
oracle.ifs.common.IfsException: IFS-20010: Unable to get service configuration properties (SmallServiceConfiguration)
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at oracle.gss.util.NLSLocale.getNLSLanguage(NLSLocale.java:675)
I'm running it from the command line, I have a batch file to set the classpath. Interestingly, if I run an Agent (i.e., a java class that extends oracle.ifs.management.domain.IfsServer) standalone, it works fine.
This makes me think there's some element of the classpath that I'm missing, but I'm not entirely sure what!
Could anyone shed any light on this? Metalink doesn't seem to have anything!
    Cheers,
    Phill
P.S. -- my CLASSPATH is as follows:
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%ORACLE_HOME%\ifs\cmsdk\lib\cmsdk.jar;%ORACLE_HOME%\lib;
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%ORACLE_HOME%\jdbc\lib\classes12.zip;%ORACLE_HOME%\j2ee\home\lib;
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%ORACLE_HOME%\j2ee\home\jazn.jar
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%ORACLE_HOME%\jdbc\lib\nls_charset12.jar
    set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%ORACLE_HOME%\ifs\cmsdk\settings\

Just FYI, the solution to this was that the java security policy was denying access. I changed the java.policy to
    grant {
         permission java.security.AllPermission;
    And this solved the problem.

  • IFS-20010 : Unable to get service configuration properties

    Hi all,
I am trying to connect to IFS using JDeveloper. I have coded a JSP which makes a call to my java class to connect.
I know that I can connect from my machine because I can run a simple application from the command line to create
    a file in IFS.
Anyway, I set up my classpath under Project Settings as follows (same as my classpath on command line):
    C:\oracle\JDeveloper\9ifs\settings;.;C:\DOCUMENT\jars\adk.jar;C:\DOCUMENT\jars\email.jar;
    C:\DOCUMENT\jars\repos.jar;C:\DOCUMENT\jars\utils.jar;C:\DOCUMENT\jars\xmlparserv2.jar;
    C:\oracle\ora90\jdbc\lib\classes12.zip
When I run the jsp under JDeveloper I get the following output on my developer console.
Should the classpath value be what I have entered for my classpath under Project Settings?
    Any help is appreciated,

  • Unable to run admin.jar

I am new to Oracle AppServer. I installed it using the win2K installer.
I am unable to run admin.jar from command prompt. As given in the doc "oc4j_so_usersguide_r2.pdf" I tried giving the following command
java -jar admin.jar ormi://cindy l23791 admin admin -restart
    I get this message
Error: javax.naming.NamingException: Lookup error: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
I changed the admin details in principals.xml to password="admin" deactivated="false". But no luck.
    Can anyone help me out?
    Thanks
    Cindy

Hi Cindy -- the 9iAS environment doesn't support the redeployment of EAR files by dropping/overwriting it in the applications directory. The reason for this is that OEM allows you to manage and deploy applications to distributed sites, so it needs to manage the redeployment of applications.
If you are still doing development with re-deployment being a common activity, then I'd be using the OC4J standalone distribution. Once you have the app pretty well baked, then it's time to move to the production style environment. With OC4J being the same (practically) in both environments, your app code should just run without any form of porting/changes.
If you don't want to go through OEM then you can use the dcm command line utility which provides management and deployment operations.
Also, there is way to do deployment to a 9iAS instance directly from JDeveloper (using a servlet to front end the Java SPI of DCM). This routes the EAR file through the management service so it then is aware of the new app archive and will perform the relevant activities.
    cheers

    Hussein,
One thing which I noticed now is in the apps Tier the
    tnsnames.ora under $TNS_ADMIN
    shows entry like this:
    PROD=
            (DESCRIPTION=
                    (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=<appsServerName>)(PORT=1521))
                    (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=<dbServer>)(PORT=1521))
                (CONNECT_DATA=
                    (SID=PROD)
)Actually *(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=<appsIPaddress>)(PORT=1521))* this line in the tnsnames.ora is not correct. In fact the appsServerName should be replaced with dbServerName
I deleted the tnsnames.ora and reran autoconfig but it is again recreating the same entry.
Any clue how this can be fixed?
    Thanks

  • Unable to get the composite instance for the invocation. This could be because instance has not yet been created or because the audit level for the SOA infra has been set to Off

I am on Oracle 11.1.1.7 BPM suite on W8 64 bit. I can't launch the flow trace and get the error "Unable to get the composite instance for the invocation. This could be because instance has not yet been created or because the audit level for the SOA infra has been set to Off".  I have set the audit level to development at the soa-infra>SOA Administration> Common Properties > Audit level set to development and Capture Composite Instance State is Checked.
    Can somebody advice.
    Thanks

Can you please confirm me the following steps...
Log in to the EM console, Expand soa-infra (soa_server1) , go to the partition where your composite is been deployed, Click on your composite, On the right, click on the dropdown Settings and choose Composite Audit Level. you can choose to set the Audit Level for this composite. If you choose Inherit, it will take the settings to what the server is being set to. Otherwise, we can override it by choosing Off, Production, or Development.
Make sure your setting for that composite is not Off, keep inherit or production or development.
    Thanks,

  • Please I can not get a .jar file to run on XP SP3 start/run/cmd/

I can not get a .jar file to run on XP SP3 start/run/cmd/
Please help if can figure this out. I'm convinced it is a Windows XP SP3 problem from searching on google and seeing other ppl on XP SP3 with same problem (but no working solution for myself). I'll try to be complete-listing all I've done.
I had installed: Java SE Runtime Environment v6u14 for Windows Multi-language
I had checked here it was working properly: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
I'm trying to run this jar file (soht-client-0.6.2.jar):
    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/telnetoverhttp/soht-java-client-0.6.2.zip?download
http://www.ericdaugherty.com/dev/soht/javaclient.html < this is the information for the program.
(yes the file can be executed and should open the program's window
I wanted to post screenshot of it but friend that it's working for isn't here)
_(Please find log of all cmds I did in this post here: http://pastebin.com/f792983df )_
_I have extracted +'all' the files to: C:\062\+_ (I have tried using other directories, same problem)
    ++I then start/open/run/cmd+
    then I: cd C:\062\+
then I try various commands - all+ of these do absolutely nothing- meaning no errors, no reply, no window opens, nothing except enters that directoy again:
    java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar
    java -jar -client soht-client-0.6.2.jar
    java -client -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar
    java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar soht.properties
    soht-client-0.6.2.jar
So I try this cmd: java soht-client-0.6.2.jar
    Reply:
    C:\062>java soht-client-0.6.2.jar

    SOHT Java Client
The SOHT Java Client requires a properties file. Either start
the application in the same directory as the soht.properties
file, or specify the file name on the command line:
    java -jar soht-cleint-<version>.jar c:\soht.properties
So then I do these cmds which produce the exact same error/reply just above; Unable to load..:
    j_ava -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar -client soht.properties_
    java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar -client C:\062\soht.properties
So then I copy soht.properties to C root and do:
java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar -client C:\soht.properties <same error as above
Then from other information I have read I right click on the .jar file, select open with Always open with:
    _"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe"_
    Try again.. same problem.
    Then I do cmd:
    _"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -jar "C:\062\soht-client-0.6.2.jar"_
does nothing, retry the other commands same thing (either nothing or those same replies)
Then I read (http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5384879) someone had the same problem as I and they solved it by uninstalling all Java/reboot/ then install JDK 6 Update 14 with NetBeans 6.5.1 start NetBeans and then it worked for them.
So I unistalled all Java, rebooted and gave the cmd another try (before re-installing), now a new error, of course:
    C:\062>java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Then I install  Java SE and NetBeans Cobundle (JDK 6u14 and NB 6.5.1) Final Release/ reboot/ open Netbeans/
go to test java page; all is good, run cmds again -and still nothing..
    C:\062>java -version
    java version "1.6.0_14"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_14-b08)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode, sharing)
    I reassociate program with: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.007\bin\javaw.exe_
    same thing.. nothing
Thank you very much for your time :D_
PS. My computer has been newly reformatted so needing another reformat I'm sure is not the solution.

Thank you very much for your replies Taggert_77 & swmtgoet_x :D
Taggert77_: I have never used NetBeans. I only installed it in the bundle as I had read on another post that somehow installing the bundle magically helped another user with the same problem (he didn't know why it worked after that either).
Before XP SP3 I was able to execute .jar file through cmd prompt. Now I am not.
This file is executable, grab it and you will see. Here is a screen shot (program in front is FlashFXP, behind is the cmd prompt and what should happen):http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/53273b4ddf.jpg
swmtgoetx_: I only did the other cmd's to try to make it spit out something, anything lol :D
The proper cmd is simply: java -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar
I did give your cmd a try, and it produced nothing :( (just like the other correct cmds)
    java -client -jar soht-client-0.6.2.jar soht.properties
    Thank you again...the mystery remains
PS. If you do a search for this you'll find an amazing amount of XP SP3 users with the same problem and no solution posted that I could find except one chap that did the unistall install order that I did above).

  • Unable to get a connection for pool - ResourceUnavailableException

    Hi
I have a BPEL process which starts a child instance of another asynchronous BPEL process for each message in an XML file. The child BPEL process makes a call to the Oracle Apps JCA Adapter to push the data into E-Business Suite.
All works perfectly except when the number of messages exceeds a certain limit (15 or so). The error received is as follows:
"Exception occured when binding was invoked.
Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'SyncPersonRecord' failed due to:
JCA Binding Component connection issue. JCA Binding Component is unable to create an outbound JCA (CCI) connection.
    ebsPeoplesoftEmployees:SyncPersonRecord [ SyncPersonRecord_ptt::SyncPersonRecord(InputParameters,OutputParameters) ] :
The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue:
    javax.resource.spi.ApplicationServerInternalException:
Unable to get a connection for pool = 'eis/Apps/Apps',
    weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceUnavailableException:
No resources currently available in pool eis/Apps/Apps to allocate to applications.
Either specify a time period to wait for resources to become available, or increase the size of the pool and retry.. Please make sure that the JCA connection factory and any dependent connection factories have been configured with a sufficient limit for max connections.
Please also make sure that the physical connection to the backend EIS is available and the backend itself is accepting connections. ".
The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception.
Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution."
Obviously what is happening is the connection pool maximum is reached (currently 15) and this is throwing the error.
What I need to do is to implement the suggestion of "specifying a time period to wait" and I was hoping someone could tell me how I do this?
I have tried setting the 'Connection Creation Retry Frequency' parameter to 30 seconds which made no difference and also have checked the documentation on "Configuring and Managing JDBC Data Sources for Oracle WebLogic Server".
Does anyone know if this is something that is implemented directly in the BPEL process/composite or in the connection source itself.
    Many thanks

Open the jndi : eis/Apps/Apps in /console - config tab - increase the initial and max conn capacity and save it. Retry the scenario

  • Unable to get following example working

    http://java.sun.com/products/jlf/ed2/samcode/textme1.html
i am unable to get this example of file menus working.
i have created a new project in JBuilder called TextMenu.jpx
i have altered the project properties to look for TextMenu as the main method but it gives me a compilation error:
    "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: TextMenu
    Exception in thread "main" "
can anyone else get this example working???

    Hi there,
OK So its been two years since the last reply to this thread, but just incase anyone else out there is having problems with getting this example working in JBuilder here is how we did it.
First off remove the "package samples;" line from the top of the .java file
    then locate the following line
    resources = ResourceBundle.getBundle( "samples.resources.bundles.TextMenuResources", locale);
and change the part in the quotes to just "TextMenuResources".
Finally open the samples.jar file and extract the file "TextMenuResources.properties" to the class folder of the project you are working on (for example if your project was called "TextMenu" then locate the "\TextMenu\class" folder and extract the file to there).
Then compile the .java file in jbuilder and it runs, hopefully.
I'm guessing there are easier ways to achieve a working state, but i had to get this working on a college computer with a variety of security precautions in place (including no command prompt, and no control panel which makes altering the classpath environment variable hard unfortunately).
    Hope that this helps someone.

    Hi,
I guess, during installation, you have provided as 127.0.0.1. Do you have entry in host file like (127.0.0.1 localhost).
Try by giving host name or IP address for HttpServerAddress in configuration file.

How do you resolve an issue when creating groups on a Mac Mini Server when this error message appears.
"Unable to get Users & Groups State, The Open Directory master was created, but a problem was encountered trying to refresh the state of the server. Check log files for more info."

Most likely, the Server was not configured correctly - DNS is a common issue, If DNS is not configured properly, OD will not be happy. You can run
    sudo changeip -checkhostname
in Terminal to see of DNS is up and running.

    Hello golferky,
CUPS stands for Common Unix Printing System and is just one of the many background processes that is running on your system and is of no harm. What you are seeing in your message console is your Mac attempting to talk to a printer you have may have had or still have it connected to.
Here is more information if you want to look into it.

  • Unable to find ejb-jar with uri X.jar in ear at c:/Y/split_src

Stack trace is below, but the ejb does exist at the location that the FileNotFoundException states. I've checked that application.xml, org.eclipse.wst.common.component both have the correct name for this dependency.
java.lang.Exception: Exception received from deployment driver. See Error Log view for more detail.

    Hi Ten,
FYI, just by placing the ejb jar inside EAR project it will not be picked up for deployment. The EJB module has to be defined on EAR Module Assembly, and the steps are:
    > EAR Project | Properties, Deployment Assembly - Add EJB module
NOTE: To verify the dependency you could try to export the EAR project to an .ear file. If the exported .ear file bundles ejb jar then deployment should work fine.
As far as the deployment mode, OEPE supports WebLogic Split-source (default) and Exploded archive. In the default split-source mode, the .beabuild.txt contains the mapping to the actual files whereas in exploded archive the files are copied over to deployment staging location.
    Steps to modify deployment mode:
    > In the server view, right click on server configuration | Properties, select WebLogic | Publishing
Please make sure the ejb module is defined appropriately and let me know if this resolves the issue.
    Thanks,
    Ram
