I am unable to see the photos which i have taken with iphone on my ipad ( photostream features is not working). i have checked the settings of both devises and photostream of both is working.
Are you talking about older pictures you took before turning photo stream on? If so, they don't sync via photo stream. You have to sync them to a computer's itunes then sync to other device.

First close the Photos app, then remove it from the multi-tasking bar: double tap the Home button, tap & hold the Photos app until it starts to wiggle, tap the red minus sign. Tap Home button when finished.
Then, reset your phone:
Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release. -
I have just updated to Pages 5.1 and now the templares which I have saved do not displat the header and footer which they were saved with in the previous version. How can I have the header and footer included when I open a template?
That is becuase Pages 5.1 has numerous unnounced surprises for the unwary user. Among the surprises:
- it strips out images from headers and footers without warning
- it strips out bookmarks without wanring (yes, all those bookamrks you laboriously put into a document: poof! Gone.)
- it strips out alternating left/right margins, without warning.
There are many more suprises, as you'll see from glancing through these discussions. They fall into two main categories: things that are present in version 4.3 but that are missing in 5.1, things like
-mail merge
-meaningful Applescript/Services support
-non-contiguous text selection
-ability to set defaul zoom
-ability to see comments while editing
-ability to print comments
-ability to read RTF files
-ability to drag in hyperlinked ted from a browser
These about about 90 other features are gone.
Then there are the bugs. Hyperlinks do not reliably export to a PDF file any longer. There have been multiple problems with printing report. Some fonts place stray characters in the headers. Many reports of the program crashing, courrupting files, etc.
Fortunately for you, the previous version of Pages is still on your system. Export any documents you may have created or edited with Pages 5.1 (another great surprise: files created with version 5.1 cannot be read by any previous version of Pages: not just 4.3 but even 5.01!). Then trash 5.1 and use 4.3 until (unless?) it is stable and has a reasonably robust feature set. -
My 3G unlocked iPhone is not syncing mail or contacts from my mac book pro, using Lion. I am able to get a calendars and music, only. I get the message that I need to reset the password which I have done 3x's on the phone and on the Apple server.
Good to know that, but what can I do to get the mail and contacts downloaded from Icloud onto my Iphone? I am told that the password needs to be reset and I have erased and reset it 3x's already? Should I Restore All Settings or Restore Network Settings or will that result in a situation where I have to have it re-unlocked again? GRACIAS!

Importing photos not taken with iPhone on the Mac
Hello everyone,
I would like to import my photos from iPhone - but those not taken WITH iPhone.
I'll explain: I have photos on my PC. I can sync them to the iPhone. I now would like to import these into iPhoto. Under Windows, I can import as soon as I plug in the phone or access its disk. How can I do the same in my Mac?

Beto.You cannot import photos from the iPhone that were transferred to the iPhone from a computer via the iTunes sync process with a PC or a Mac. Photos transferred from a computer via the iTunes sync process is a one way transfer process only - from the computer to the iPhone. Photos transferred from a computer are optimized for viewing on the iPhone as part of the iTunes sync/transfer process - the original resolution of these photos is reduced on the iPhone, which is why the transfer of these photos in the opposite direction is not supported.
There are a number of other ways to transfer the full resolution photos from one computer to another. -

Photo stream can do this, but iCloud Photostream is not permanent storage. It's only good for 30 days. After that, they are removed from the iCloud Photostream.
You should import your photos to your computer [Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support] or use another third-party service or app. -

Re-sync your device to iTunes and uncheck Sync under Photos.

When I place an Aperture photo on the cloud to share with friends, the idenfifcation information I have entered for the photo does not transfer to the cloud and thus my friends get only the photo. Is there a setting I am missing that would allow the text to go along with the photograph?
The photo stream will transfer the EXIF information set by the camera and the filname/version name. Try to get any information you want to transfer into the filename by batch changing the filename with "write to master" enabled. Aloso, you can set a comment, when sharing the image to the Photo Stream.

I delivered mine MacBook Pro to a store to format it. Unfortunally they did not take full backup before they started and I lost al lot of pictures and videos. Most of it were taken with a ordinary camera and not with the iPhone and I transferred/synced it to iPhone using iTunes. I need to transfer this back to iTunes/iPhoto/iMovie. How can I do that?
You can e-mail them to yourself. You can not transfer them using iPhoto/iMovie/iTunes. The phones had to come from your computer in the first place to sync them from the phone, so they are not part any backup and no allowance is made to extract them from the phone. The photos on the phone are NOT stored at their full resolution, they were optimized for the smaller screen during the sync process that put them on the phone to begin with.
You may be able to find 3rd party software that will allow you to extract them, but I wouldn't waste the money when you have e-mail at your disposal.
You could also upload them to dropbox, box.net, skydrive, or any of the other numerous free cloud service, then download them to your computer. -

I don't know if you have already set up your ipad but you could try this. Backup your iphone then do a restore to your ipad. I think all the data will transfer over. I am not a game type person so I do not know if this will work with games but it did transfer all my datas from other apps. It might transfer the data from your games too. But if you already set up your ipad and loaded some apps on it, you will have to re-download everything again and you will lose any data on your ipad if you do a restore from your iphone. -

Will I lose all of the pictures that I have taken if I sync my iPhone to a new computer?
I was out visiting my Aunt in MI and she had bought me an iPhone 4s. So while I was there, my cousin had synced my iPhone to his computer and added some music. I also took some pictures with the camera.
Now that I am back home, I was wondering if I would lose all of the pictures that I have taken with my iPhone if I sync it to my computer back home... This is kind of important, because it has all of the pictures from when I was in MI...

I am unable to delete my photos which are synced through computer..i have upgraded to ios 7 and im using iphone 5...i tried doing it by using itunes but i cant see any photos at all...help requested
If you didn't already do so, try uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components (not just iTunes and AMDS), then reinstall iTunes, as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925. Follow the article and uninstall them in the order indicated.

you can only delete the photos you take on the phone itself as in from camera roll
sync mean syncronize as in make the 2 side the same if you could delete the photos syncronized to your iphone then the nature of what syncronize mean result in the logic step being deleting the photo on your computer too
you get rid of the photo by sync with another dir/ sourse or by moving the photo out of the dir of the computer and then resync
