I am unsure on how to re-upgrade my account. I was previously using the student discount until I recently realized that I was charged $9.99. I emailed Spotify to inquire about how I could still be granted the student discount. I was then told by them that I simply need to re-upgrade my premium subscription to the student discount at anytime. I am not sure how to do this because I receive the message, "It appears that you are not eligible for the discounted product that you are trying to purchase. If you'd like you can still upgrade your account to premium at any time." I was hoping someone could give me simple step by step directions as to how I re-upgrade my account to receive the student discount. Thank you!

Payment plans are contracts. Contracts require personal information. The only way for your SSN (most people have one assigned by parents before age 1) to NOT appear on the contract is if your name does not appear on the contract and you have no legal responsibility.

I have done everything suggested in Apple support with no success. I still get the error everytime (about 5 minutes into backing up iPhone data). How can I upgrade to iOS5 without losing all the data on my iPhone (the error message says that if I continue I will lose all data on the phone)? If I have already synced the phone before upgrading the OS, would I be able to restore my data after installing the new OS by syncing after the OS upgrade is complete? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.

The latest version of iPhoto - 9.5.1 - requires MacOS X 10.9.x. Is it possible to upgrade your Mac to Mavericks? Then you can buy the latest iPhoto from the AppStore.
If your Mac does not support Mavericks, you could upgrade to iPhoto 9.4.3, see: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1650 , but this version is no longer availbale from the AppStore. Buy a boxed retail version of iPhoto '11 from Amazon or eBay, and then update it from the support page http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1650 .

Are you trying to transfer the GarageBand projects or the rendered audio files? What version of GarageBand do you have on your iPhone?
I do not think you can share your GarageBand projects from your iPhone to GarageBand on your Mac, unless you have iCloud, afaik, only the audio files.
How did you transfer the song?

You need a unique AppleID for each iCloud account. So grab some free gmail, hotmail, aol, yahoo or whatever email addresses to make five new AppleIDs. Now, everybody make an iCloud account for themselves, and keep the existing shared AppleID and password just for use in the iTunes and App Stores. You can also each use your own unique AppleIDs to make iMessage accounts and keep those separate as well.

You cannot merge Apple ID accounts, that has never been supported.
You can contact the Apple ID Security folks per the listing in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 and they can help reset security questions and get the account working.

We are not Apple, just end-usrs like you so cannot speak with authrity about Apple policies. However this Apple site covers educational purchases. Links therein will show terms and conditions:

That is from the US store. If that does not answer the question for a UK user, open the UK Apple Store and enter "educational" in the search window. One hit should be "Educational discounts."
