I am very happy with the Dynex Brand :)
Ever since I got my Dynex 16" LED TV awhile back to replace a failing 27" CRT I have been extremely happy with it. I never adjust the color or the sound settings, it just looked awesome picture wise when I have taken it out of the box. I am happy to say that it has substantially saved on our electric bill when it comes in at the end of the month. I like to keep my TV on overnight and no problems.
Don't know how Best Buy does it but I trust the Dynex brand not only for high quality but for high reliability standards too.

I'm VERY happy with the results (fast!). However, the really strange thing is this - there is now a thin yellow line, way over on the right side of the screen, which goes from top to bottom, and stays there no matter where I go or what I do. I've never seen anything like this! It was not there before I did the upgrades. Anyone out there ever heard of such a preposterous thing ~ or have any ideas on how to get rid of it?

I have heard that some people have lost information or are not happy with the new version - I am only a casual user and happy with the way it is now and would like to keep it the same - can I do that??
Firefox menu > Options. In Options, click Advanced tab. UNDER Advanced Tab, click the Update tab. Under "Automatically check for updates to", un-check Firefox. Under "When updates to Firefox are found", select Ask me what I want to do.
This will make sure neither Firefox updates automatically nor does it prompt to update.
But one thing Firefox 5 is unsupported. That means you would not get any security fixes for any vulnerabilities in Firefox 5. -
I was having probs with my Zen Mirco, RMA'd it and a new one came very fast. Very pleased with the service. Thanks Creative, this new Zen is working perfectly.
i have some small issues like bugs problem and if you look in the forum here some users has got few little problems with the n8 as well that i belive are not many and i belive soon will be fix.

i have installed about 150 applications mainly from the s60 5th edition as are not much for the s3 yet

antivirus, many tv links,radios,win archive,folder lockers, slideIt etc including SKYFIRE, yes skyfire 1,5 with amazing flash support.all the flash videos are clear on my n8 3,5 screen
even the N8 it costed me lot of money on sim free, i have make my N8 expirement device on that
sometime will upload a video at utube about it
some apps which failed to install or intalled and did not work HAS NOT affect my N8
easy unistalled
the phone with about 150 apps is still runs smooth
i had 13 pages multitasking and was still the phone was working fast
(i think it pause the programs the multi task but at least very fast can switch bettewn them )
more apps will come now after symbian will let it open source platform and i dont know if the phone is made for so many apps but i will still install more in future
seen how strong is the n8 i can imagine the upcoming N9 and waiting for it ........................ -

I'm waiting for my new iMac 20" Core 2 Duo with 2 GB of RAM. (I was stupid, got too excited, and didn't look at the RAM slot specs. I thought there was 4 slots and I'd just add another 2 GB RAM when I got the computer.) GarageBand has always been processor intensive. Do you know if 2 GB RAM will be enough to record about 4 real instruments/vocals?

Very happy with the new You View Box
I have just upgraded from a black BT Vision Box to the new BT You View box and I have to say I am very impressed so far. Not only is the new box very small and neat, but the picture and functionality that I have tested to date has been faultless. I am connection to Broadband using Power Adapters and they seem absolutly fine. I live in a small village where on a good day with the wind in the right direction I get 2.4 Mbs. It dropped below 2 Mbs last night but BBC i lPlayer apart from 2 short buffers during an hours playing was fine. I know BT don't promote the use of Power Adapters with You View, as without doubt they are slower than a direct ethernet connection, but I have had no problem at all using them.
In short, well done to Humax/BT for providing what for me so far is an excellent product.I have to agree with you. We got the G4 last week and to date (touch wood) there were no problems with our packages, switching over or any other problems. It was really smooth and the G4 box is fast quick and works really well. A good bit of kit that the family really like.

I am very frustrated. I decided to cancel the restoring process and I can't still access my music because is loading iTunes Match.... this has been going on now for weeks, where i ahve turned off the data mobile and stick to wifi.... Nothing seems to work. Any help mroe than appreciate it.

All you have to do is safely pack and ship your iPhone from the Philppines to your California-based relative.

I have an older version of Adobe Digital Editions (around 3 years old) and was very happy with it.
Then I had problems with my Kobo Reader and asked a friend who works in IT to assist. She could not fix the Kobo but she messed up my Addobe. She downloaded version three and I have an account and a password - was not able to transfer my books from my reader to version three (and I don't like the lay-out - I would prefer to stay with the old version as I also loose all my download date info..)
But all the books I have bought over the last three years are in the old Adobe Digital and I cannot access them any more. When I use it I get the message "that the document is licensed to a different account. I can't even open the books on my computer.
When I go to my Kobo library, I cannot also not open my books and get the message "this doc is protected by adobe digital rights management and is not currently authorized for use with your adobe. please sign in with your authorized adobe id and try again"
I believe the problem is that I do not seem to have a digital id for my old adobe or that the Kobo is not in sync with it anymore.
can you please help me - going on vacation in three days and cannot go without books.Please authorize ADE 3 with same credentials that you used with older version of ADE

I’ve got a new MacBookair11 2weeks ago and I am very happy with it. Today I’ve tried to synchronize it via icloud with my ipad and I have lost the camera.
Looking through help in internet I found out that I had to reset the SMC. I did exactly as per instructions given but with no luck.
Is there any other solutions that will fix my camera for facetime and iphoto?

Why does Firefox, like others, feel it's so important that their updated browser have a "brand new look"? I don't want a "brand new look." I'm happy with the look as it is. So I will NEVER go to Firefox4.

Not very happy with warranty replacement
I am not trying to get something for nothing when I make the statement that I am not happy with the replacement touch that apple sent me for my almost out of warranty touch that completely stopped working. I am happy with the customer service, the easy return and very quick replacement. I am not completely happy with the touch that was sent to me. I can't say that is broken, it is just doggish and seems to have a really short battery life. It really seems slower then my previous touch and has seems to do odd things often, like I open a simple app (like the calendar)and it opens for a second and closes immediately or the response to touch is very slow at times. There is nothing really wrong with it but this is the 3rd own I have owned and it is by far slowest and least responsive. Does anyone have any opinion on if I have any recourse?
Also, When I put in the serial # of this replacement, which I received on the 1st of this month, Apple website tells me that the warranty has expired. I know this to be wrong because of the paperwork enclosed with the replacement said thae warranty is 90 days or remaing period, whichever longer.Send it (or take it to an Apple store with all the relevant paperwork) and get another one.
I bought 3 Touches in the middle of January for my kids and the youngest one's was similar; slow, bad battery life, wierd backlight glitch, apps crashing. Took it to the local retail store and they replaced it with no hassle. I didn't even have my receipt. It was a 4th gen so obviously was less than a year old.

I am 70 Years old and worked very happy with my iMac (21,5“ mid 2010, 3,2 GHz Intel Core 3)
until I updated him from SnowLeopard 10.6.8 to Mavericks 10.9.2.
2 Days all was OK. Next Morning-Start he needs (until now) 3 minutes to show me a SCREEN only milky white. After that he starts like ever with all ICONS in about 1 minute. (together 4 min.)
..But I must notice, that I cannot make anything, because the „BLUETOOTH APPLE WIRELESS KEYBOARD and the APPLE MAGIC MOUSE“ doesn't work anything like before.
I could nothing do, I must drop my APPLE only out.

I have been a Windows user(not by choice) for the last, well, ever since I can remember. But after buying the iphone 3g am a mac fan. I have also seen the demo of the new unibody 2.0 macbook and have been hooked on to that. So after reading all issues reported on this forum, just wanted to ask owners as to what their experience has been and are they happy with the $1299 macbook? MY usage is mainly for internet, songs, videos and probably have to install XP to run a few of my oracle applications. But mainly want to use the mac OS. I am not into gaming so thats not really a concern. Also, any major disadvantages or problems that you have. I dont need firewire so thats not an issue.

Oh, and Ziatron there always posts on these threads about the firewire. He is correct that the Aluminum Macbook lacks firewire. The plastic has it, and so does the Macbook pro. So if that's an issue for you, then you need to think on that. However, the lack of firewire on the Macbook is Ziatron's particular hobby horse. A lot of us, myself included, have found it to be a non-issue. I've had this MacBook since the day they brought the new ones out and have not yet needed to plug in one thing that required firewire. I don't even know it's missing. -
I have a 3 year old MacBook Pro with MAC OSX 10.6.8, iPhoto ’09 version 8.1.2 and have downloaded two software programs: one is Aperture 3.2 and the other is Photoshop Elements 9 (which I got from a friend who didn’t need it).
I am totally happy with the way iPhoto organizes my photos and how I can work with iMovie to create slide shows with music from iTunes, etc.
I have been shooting mostly high resolution jpegs and I continue to learn more and more about photography, post processing etc. I realize that the small adjustments I can make in iPhoto are good, and are adequate most of the time. However, a have started to experiment with shooting RAW images and would like to go the next step, ie. post processing.I am totally technically challenged and need SIMPLE, INTUITIVE programs and am certainly NOT anywhere ready for Photoshop CS whatever!
After having these programs sit on my computer, I decided to try to see if I could figure them out. When I opened Aperture, this is what first comes up.

I have heard horror stories about moving your entire library to Aperture, ending up with 2 libraries, etc. etc. hence my previous reluctance in attempting Aperture. In addition, many of my photography friends are saying: Go with Lightroom 3.....you’ll love it!
So here is my dilemma. I don’t want to mess around with my iPhoto library. All I want to be able to do, is to isolate a few photos, export them to Aperture, Elements, and work on them there, then bring them back into iPhoto.
Can I do this? Should I forget about Aperture and Elements and look at purchasing yet another program like Lightroom?Export those few photos via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu option with Kind = Original to the Desktop. Then import them into the Aperture library. That would keep one copy in your iPhoto library and another in your Aperture library to edit, etc.
You can use Photoshop Elements 9 from within iPhoto as your editor of choice. However, if you edit a raw file in iPhoto with PSE9 the resulting edited version must be saved outside the iPhoto Library and imported back in as a new file. For editing jpegs just do a Save (not a Save As) and it all will be kept within iPhoto.
Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:
Note: to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.
