I bought this Logic studio 8 from craigs list, the guy who sold it to me said he never registered the program but I asume he installed it in his mac which he also said that it crashed and that was the reason to get rid of logic since he is using a pc now.
He gave me the box with the serial numbers and prod ID as well as the manuals and dvds which I took and installed in my mac laptop so my question is, can I register this software to my name and how does this works?
I know you can only install it in a desktop and a laptop belonging to only one owner.

iCloud storage is not allocated by device. iCloud storage is allocated to your iCloud AppleID. You get 5GB of iCloud storage.

Sorry, but if you did not set up Find My iPhone, then unless your iPhone is set up with a company Microsoft Exchange server or other mobile device management system, there is no way to wipe the iPhone of its data, though if you had a screen lock in it, the thieves/finder will probably restore it and wipe the data anyway. There is no way to lock the iPhone permanently to prevent someone from using your iPhone, though you can report the loss to your cell carrier and they may be able to blacklist it from connecting to their network.

Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window.
Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. You should see your hard drive in the left hand column along with your other drives. Click on the drive and select the Erase tab. Set the format value to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and click the Erase button. After that has finished select the Partition tab. Type in a Name for your hard drive and select how many partitions you want from the Volume Scheme. The usual setting is one partition. Click on the Options button after you've selected a partition to make sure it's set for GUID. Then click the Apply button and after the Partitioning is done quit Disk Utility.
You can now follow the instructions on the install screen

If your carrier agrees to unlock your iPhone, it will be done by restoring the iPhone in iTunes (the carrier sends an unlock command through Apple). Sending the iPhone to Canada will not be necessary.

It makes life easier to install the airport utility for windows.. which has a couple of different apps in it.. if you airport is new type then the utility is too old.. but is still valuable for Bonjour which provides network information for shared devices in the apple world to windows.. and a disk access agent..
It will also help the Apple computer access shared directory in the windows computer.. nowadays this is pretty easy.

How can i get a free digital download for the Logic express 9 DVD version

I recently bought an new Imac. There is no dvd player. What gets me frustrated is that i own almost all Apple products, but i can't seem to get my DVD version of Logic Express on my new imac. I tried to share the dvd drive of my macbook pro, but that doesnot work with copy protected software. So i can't install from that external dvd drive.
So now i have a:
Iphone
Ipad mini
Macbook pro
Imac
and ik can't use my officially purchased version of Logic. Microsoft offers a free digital download for registered version of Office for Mac. Is er there also a free digital download for Logic Express? Anybody?
If there is not, i feel ripped off.

Your previous purchases are saved on iCloud even if you bought them on another computer. If you can't find them on your current computer, you might need to unhide them. Go to iTunes preferences, and click on Store Preferences. Then click the box for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Then click on OK, and everything you've ever bought from iTunes on that Apple ID will show up in your library. You will need to download them from iCloud first before you can synch them to your iPod Classic. To do this, click on the little cloud with the arrow in it next to your song, and it will download to your computer. When you have the music that you want downloaded, plug in your iPod and synch away. Hope this helps!

I just checked to see if the update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 solved any of the issues outlined in my previous post, and to my dismay, nothing has changed -- all of the previous problems persist.
My iMac (8) -- it's renamed itself eight times since the recent troubleshoot with the Apple tech rep -- shows up as a shared device in Finder on my MacBook Pro, but when I click on it, I cannot establish a connection using "Connect As". So I've attempted to connect using the menu "Go/Connect to Server...", using both (alternately) the iMac's name and IP address, to no avail. I get a message which reads: "There was a problem connecting to the server 'Peter's iMac (8)'. This server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."
Here's what I know:
The server -- Peter's iMac (8) does exist;
The server -- Peter's iMac (8) is available at this time;
The server name -- Peter's iMac (8) -- is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
The server IP address is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
The network connection is active when I attempt to connect.
I'm convinced the problems stem directly from the OS X Yosemite update. None of this was ever remotely an issue in the previous OS X's -- any of them. This is maddening! What can be done? Apple?? Anyone???

I have done something similar but not the exact. My requirement was to send Customers and moreover I didn't make use of the BADI, instead I used events and change pointers.
What you can do is:
1. put the following code (or something similar) inside your BADI (make sure the BADI is fired only for XK02 and not for t.codes XK01, XK03,...)
This program RBDSECRE is same as T.code BD14. The variable w_vendor_number should match with your BADI parametes.
          SUBMIT RBDSECRE WITH SELLIFNR EQ w_vendor_number
                                          WITH MESTYP    EQ 'CREMAS'
                                          WITH LOGSYS    EQ w_logsys_name
                                          WITH nomsg        EQ 'X'
                                          AND RETURN.
2. create a distribution model for the logical systems and the idoc message type in BD64.

Sorry, but that opportunity has long passed. Your options now are:
Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Hmm, I tried a few ways and it's working here. First, it works if I have the artwork panel open below all the libraries and I can then Control-click (or right click if you have a two button mouse) in there, get a pop up menu, and select "copy". Or, second, if I pull up the "Get Info", click on the artwork tab, click on the album art (at which point it's highlighted), and then press command-C to copy it. Or, third, double click on the pictClipping file on my desktop and press command-C (or select "Edit" - "Copy" from there). If I use any of those techniques to get the artwork in my clipboard, then the "File" - "New from clipboard" option in "Preview" works for me.
It doesn't work if I pop up the artwork in it's own window (e.g. by clicking on the artwork in the optional artwork panel below the libraries), or if I neglect to click on the artwork in "Get Info" before pressing command-C.
Finally, if none of these is working, I think that "GraphicsConverter" app is shareware, so you might be able to try it for free if you want. I also picked up a free Automator workflow that does the job for free, but it's really a little clumsy and wouldn't suggest unless you're really technically oriented.
