I bought Photo elements 7 many years ago. Having to rebuild my PC, if I give you the photo element 7 serial number, can you send me a new CD or provide instructions to download the software?

I tried to do as suggested in your link, but I can’t open the programs anymore, so I can’t get to the possibility of deactivate!
I did get the updates, but that’s all…
Any other way of getting there?

How to delete events on iCal that were created many years ago with a MobileMe account?

I have never ending recurring events on iCal that I created years and years ago with my MobileMe account. I don't have access to that email anymore, unfortunately. Is there any way to get rid of these silly things?

What Calendars are listed in your sources pane?
Where are they located?
Are you using iCloud?
Backup that specific calendar using Calendar>File>Export>Export..., and save the copy to your Desktop.
What happens if you attempt to delete that specific calendar?

Hi Thomas,
Did you purchase it as a standalone application or as part of a subscription?
If standalone you have to remove from your laptop and then install on your desktop, it will work fine, if part of a subscription your are permitted to install on 2 devices as long as only 1 is in use at any one time.

Many years ago synced iCal with Microsoft program. Since installing Lion whenever I try to create an event in iCal it flashes up message "Unable to open Microsoft sync services Power PC applications no longer supported." How do I get rid of message?

Lion no longer supports PowerPC apps. If this is Microsoft Office 2008 (Entourage 2008) then you should disable the syncing services. (I don't have Office 2008 installed anymore so I don't know exactly what it's called anymore.) If you have Microsoft Office 2004 or earlier, then it can't be run on Lion at all since Lion removed Rosetta, which is what allowed a PPC app to run on an Intel based Mac.
Also, I believe Microsoft removed sync services from the current Outlook 2011 (which replaces Entourage) so even upgrading to a newer version of Microsoft Office will not get you back that calendar sync feature. Supposedly Microsoft is working on a new syncing system, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Not without erasing what is currently on the iPod first, since an iPod can only be synced with one computer/iTunes library at a time.
A better way to go about it, is to copy everything currently on the iPod to your new iTunes library first. Then connect it to iTunes and either choose the Erase and Sync option or restore the device to allow it to start syncing with the new library.

Who can help me use Time Machine to find some photos from a year ago?

I need to know how to retrieve some photos from a year ago that should be stored on my ext. drive. I have Time Machine....Mac OSX 10.9.1. I have tried to do it and Time Machine tells me there is not enough room to download my old Picture Library. I don't want to download the whole liibrary. I just want to locate one event or album that contains the pictures I am seeking. Isn't there a way to open the Picture library from a year ago and select just the pictures that I want to bring back to my current IPhoto Library? I need some hlep with this. I have never tried it before.

The best solution to your problem is to restore the old library to a volume on an external drive, then open it in iPhoto and export the images you want.
Enter Time Machine and select the item you want to retrieve in a snapshot. From the action menu (gear icon) in the toolbar select Restore ... to... and choose the destination you want. Then click the Restore button in the lower right corner of the display.
