If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Are the pictures transferred to another device? Note the following quotation from http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4486
The photos you upload to My Photo Stream are stored in iCloud for 30 days to give your devices plenty of time to connect and download them.
If you are wanting a cloud storage option for photos you may want to investigate something like Flickr.

That's probably the ambient light sensor. It's on the black iPhone too, it's just not as visible.

Cant hear sound though the input is showng signal

im having trouble with FLME 3.2 for mac i want to live stream from a Sony z1 though the encoder to my wowzer 2 server i have video but no audio even though the master volume input bar is showing signal in how can i fix this

The only versions you update to are 3.6.28 (which will be dropped from support in a few weeks) or Firefox 11. I'd recommend either 11, or at least start planning for it. Is there a specific reason you don't want to upgrade to 11, I can try to help.

HT1296 My Iphone 5, IOS 7.0.4 won't sync calendars to my Macbook Pro IOS 10.9.1. I can sync calendars from the MB to the phone but not from the phone to the Mac. There is no tab for the calendar in Itunes now so I don't know how else to do this.

I have a Macbook Pro running Mavericks 10.9.1 and an Iphone 5S on IOS 7.0.4 and I can't sync my calendar from the phone to the Macbook.
It works the other way, Macbook to Iphone.
There used to be a tab under Itunes that allowed you to select to sync things like calendar, notes etc. but this is no longer there, can anyone help?

This was removed in 10.9. You may have better luck getting assistance in the relevant Mac forum.

Certain podcasts I can download on the phone but not from the desktop

This is might sound weird so I apologize if I confuse people.
Tekzilla has separate RSS feeds for different versions of their podcast. Small quicktime, large quicktime, HD quicktime. Obviously with iTunes you can sync the iPhone with podcasts or you can download the podcast themselves over wifi on the iPhone itself. I have been able to sync the small and large quicktime versions with no trouble at all.
It's the HD quicktime version that is giving me trouble.
If I signup for the HD quicktime version of the podcast in iTunes it downloads like it is supposed to but that version of the podcast can not sync up with my iPhone ever and I get the message about how it can not be played on iPhone. Now the weird thing is I can download the HD quicktime version directly on the iPhone itself using wifi and the iTunes app on the iPhone itself and it plays with no problem at all.
My question is how is it possible that I can't sync the HD quicktime version of a podcast from iTunes yet I can download that same version over wifi and it plays perfectly?
I know there really is no point in watching the HD quicktime version on the iPhone's small screen but my point is why is it possible to download it on the iPhone and not being able to get it from the desktop version of iTunes? It sounds like there is some kind of error in the desktop iTunes app.

Pleqase help if you can! I was told that the internet thing inside my phone was broken, so i tried some methods like heating the back of the phone and then letting it cool down in the freezer for 5 mins but it didn't work.

HT201209 loaded an itunes card on my phone. It shows on my phone but not in the itunes store from the computer even after syncing

We purchased an itunes card last night and my daughter loaded it right on her phone. Her phone shows the proper credit. All our devices our hooked to the same account. When we look at the itunes store on my computer and my son's ipod it the credit does not show. We tried syncing and still it does not show. Does anyone have any ideas?

TS1702 I updated to iOS6 and the Passbook shows as an icon on the phone, but not in the list of applications. Is this a useless app at this point? And, the maps - not nearly as nice as Google. (Sheesh, did I just say that?)

I updated from iOS 5.1 to iOS 6. The Passbook App appears as an app, but not in the list that appears to the left. It won't open, and it won't let me access iTunes Store from this App. Suggestions?
The maps are AWFUL. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I prefer GOOGLE maps.
