I can no longer get the editor to open.

Everything was working great but now the editor will not open. It acts like it going to then just shuts down right away. How do i fix this?

Did you try resetting preferences?
Close Elements.
Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.

Try opening directly from your desktop, by passing the welcome screen.
Go to Windows Explorer>C drive>Program Files (x86)>Adobe>Photoshop elements 11. Right click, then Send to>Desktop
Double click on the shortcut and see it will open.

I can no longer get my email to open

My email has stopped working on my IPAD. It has worked for months but stopped. I have deleted and re-entered my email address....I have syned again....still doesn't open email. Any help would be appreciated.

From what you are saying - It is not clear as to whether the mail app will not open or if the app opens but you can't get your email. In any event, try the basic troubleshooting steps if you haven't tried them already.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit the mail app and restart the iPad. In order to quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button. The task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. If you are using multitasking gestures in iOS 5 - you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the task bar. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Turn the email account off and then turn it on again. Go to Settings>Mail>AOL Account>Mail>Off. Launch the mail app. Then quit the app as described above. No need to restart. Go back to Settings>Mail>AOL Account>Mail>On. Go back to your email account and see if it works.

Why can I not get the Safari to open?

I just installed iOS8. When I tap the Safari icon I receive an answer that the server is not enabled. How come?

Force close an app
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode.

I just noticed that I can no longer get the shuffle feature on my iTunes 10.4.0.80 to work. I've turned it off and on, but it still just goes in order of the playlist. I too have been getting an error msg at computer startup.

I'm not sure how long it's been like this, but I just noticed that my songs no longer shuffle when playing from iTunes (running 10.4.0.80). No matter if "shuffle songs" is off or on, they still just play on down the playlist in order. Could this be related to other problems I'm seeing listed that seem associated with the latest update? I also get an error msg when my computer is starting up that I think is associated with this latest update (something about not being able to read a line from "Apple sync helper" (hope I haven't butchered that too much, haven't had a chance to copy the error msg)). After looking at other people's posts, I think it's official: there is a bug. Itunes support said I should not have lost the drag/drop tool and I haven't on the laptop that is running itunes 10.4 and operating system 10.6.8. I chatted with someboby who lost both his drag/drop and side scroll and what we have in common is a wacom tablet for a mouse. My laptop is a wireless mouse. I reinstalled whatever updated driver that wacom has out there, shut the system down for night, hoping for magic, but alas none to be had. So if I want to change song order, I network the laptop and desktop, share the screen on the laptop, drag and drop to my heart's content and curse Apple for making me work this hard to find the tool that was once at my fingertips. Apple also let me know that if I want to share songs in household that the hundreds on songs that were purchased for .99 need to be repurchased for another .30. Maybe Apple is holding my drag/drop tool captive til I pay up the money or Maybe the next update will fix the problem, I for one give up for now.

Can no longer get the plug in to charge

The port on Ipad must have gotten damaged some how because I'm very careful when plugging it in, but now I can't get a plug in the device to charge it.

I use a web site called ACRIS- up until yesterday I could access all parts of the site, including calling up images of deeds. Now I can no longer get the images via firefox, but can them via windows explorer. Why? How do I fix this?

Then without any apparent reason I could access all parts of the site, but could not access the deed images. First I thought it was a problem on their end, which sometimes happens, but after waiting 24 hours I was still having the problem. Then I tried windows explorer and it worked without any problem. How do I fix this?

First question I would ask is what has changed recently? Did you add any new extensions or add-ons?
I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting-extensions-themes Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide ] and the [[Troubleshooting plugins]] article as well.

I can no longer get the Fox news page on your browser. I have been trying all afternoon, and it is my home page. I opened Safari and it came right up. Went back to Firefox, and still kept getting error.

Downloadhelper just stopped working and I can no longer get the icon to load into the tool bar.

I downloaded the add on Downloadhelper and it worked for many video captures and then stopped. I reinstalled it but the icon will not load into the toolbar or the tools under View -> Toolbars -> Customize. I have gone through the troubleshooting guides and everything seems to be enabled properly. At the same time Firefox stopped allowing me to open more than one Firefox screen.

Contact the carrier and ask them what is going on.
