I am in my iTunes application and when I press the link to connect to the iTunes Store, it starts churning, and churning, but never connects. It has churned for hours and when I finally click the "X" to close it, I get error code 11222.
I'd try the following document:

(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

What is the exact text of the message you get. Take a screen shot (command/shift/4 and post it. Also, what do you see regarding iTunes if you go to App Store/Updates?

Youll get that message when you change the iTunes account you are logged into, you can't keep changing it.

2) When I upgraded my iPhone 3gs, to the latest version 5.0.1 (9A405), is when I noticed that i couldn’t update my applications. There are two names/accounts on the phone and prior to the update there was just the one. I have tried entering every conceivable password that I have ever used and get the incorrect password error every time. The apps on the iPhone are apparently associated with several/different accounts. I just want to get everything back to the way it was. One id and one password with purchases associated with just one account that can be updated on my computer as well as my iPhone.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. Ummm I'm not really sure to be honest here,But let me give you some backround of what happened. Basically my sister took my iPod touch (3rd generation I believe it is) and restored and updated the condition of it and made it up to date. When I tried to plug it in my PowerBook the iTunes thing came up and it said "the iPod cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.6.3 or later" and yeah that's all I got for you.

You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.

I installed the new version because itunes had not recognised my ipod nano 5G, and told me to reinstall. Itunes selected which version to install, so I don't understand what is going on. To add insult to injury it installed a pile of malware which I am still trying to get rid off.

Go through the below link to Remove iTunes and all its components from your computer first and then Re-install fresh copy of iTunes on your computer.

OK, I have fixed it here. Here's what I did:
quit iTunes
trashed ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
started iTunes, and authorised my account
Worked straight away after that !

I can open my iTunes and play my purchased music, but I cannot get into the iTunes store. btw, I just downloaded the new version of iTunes
