I can see photos but can't download them because the original is "unavailable". What does that mean ?

I was downloading back some photos from Revel after having lost the originals from the hard drive they were stored on (along with that drive).
I was using the MacOS app and things were going fine, but strangely one library doesn't let me do that. So I tried to download a single file and I got an error message saying that the original file wasn't available. Which seems strange as I can see the picture. And in good definition, too. Exporting at current resolution didn't help, either, BTW.
And indeed looking at the web version of Revel the download button that usually sits under the pictures is missing in that library.
Seeing as I can see the pictures, how come I can't just download at least the file it's showing me ?

Hi again Aurelien
While I reach out to our server team for help, you could also try to troubleshoot this.
Before I go on, please ensure you have a separate backup of all your photos outside of Revel, example: on an external USB drive.
Now, if you originally uploaded the images using Revel iOS, and the images/videos are still on your device camera roll, then please sign back into your account in Revel iOS -- Revel will resume uploading the originals automatically.  Once sync from iOS is complete, you should then be able to export on the desktop, or find the photos in your Adobe Revel Library on Mac if you have Keep Originals enabled in the Revel Mac app settings.  I just confirmed this works.
Unfortunately, easily resuming original image uploads like this is not yet supported on Revel Mac or on www.adoberevel.com, but I will ensure that this enhancement is tracked by Product Management for the future.
