Depending on why it's been disabled, you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com

Thanks for responding. It seems my download speed is too slow and iTunes sensed this so didn't bother downloading. I finally got a friend with a fast connection to download the installer packet, put it on a USB stick, and then I transferred it to my iMac. Also thanks for correcting my hyphens.

I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
4. Reboot iPad
5. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

I have the exact same issue. I can print one document and then I get the error mentionned above ("adobe creation cannot continue because acrobat is not activated"). Then I need to reboot in order to be able to print a new document.
I have suite and went to Photoshop as suggested, but this program is already activated. I tried to launch Acrobat Pro but it won't.
I'm using the Design and Web Premium CS6 Suite on Windows Vista.

Can a PC user download my photos from iCloud without an Apple ID?

I've browsed through several threads in this forum, but I have not yet found answers to my specific questions. I need to send about 50 photos from iPhoto on my MacBook Pro to a person who needs to download them onto his Windows PC. I prefer not to resort to the old-fashioned ways. That is, I don't want to burn the photos to a CD-R; nor do I want to email them four at a time. To my knowledge, my contact does not have an Apple ID. Therefore, I decided to share the photos as a public photo stream in iCloud. I don't need to secure the package with a password.
My questions:
Will my contact be able to download the photos from my photo stream onto his Windows PC without an Apple ID?
Will the photos download onto his PC at the same full resolution as on my MacBook Pro?

Add the photos to a shared stream using the public website option. This will give them a private url to access and download them from the internet using their computer browser. (See http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm1bdd9cae49.) I believe they will download to to another computer at full resolution. Photo stream photos are only "device optimized" when streamed to an iOS device.
