I followed the instructions as best I could an"No Musis" I've been at this for 5 hours, HELP
Have you used itunes maybe??? I think thats prety easy, put music in itunes (from hard drive or rip from cd), connect ipod and drag music from your library to your device...

I am transfering songs from one computer to another using home share. Both machines are authorized in home sharing. The songs import from (my) windows computer to the other (my wifes) authorized MacBook Pro, computer just fine. Once the songs are in the library and i try to sync her Iphone (4s) to her computer the songs ar greyed out and i can't play them nor see them under iPhone after sync is complete. What the heck is going on? BTW, the songs that i have imported are either songs i burned from a CD or songs i have purchased from the iTunes store, so they should sync no problem!? Help please.

Can't get songs to show up on ipod
Just recently I had deleted my usual songlist on the ipod and now I can't get any songs to transfer onto the ipod. I tried the restore, reinstall,...from the ipod support but no luck. I am using Musicmatch but it worked on many other occasions. Any advice?

Also I tried to transfer a photo and a small video; no luck with either file which I did as a simple drag and drop. The music, photo and video all showed up on windows explorer though. Please help! -
I get the following message when I sync my iPod Touch to my macbook in an attempt to copy songs to the iPod:
Some of the items in the iTunes library, including “----------”, were not copied to the iPod “------------------- iPod” because you are not authorized for then on this computer. To authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store, choose Store > Authorize This Computer

Can you play those tracks, the tracks that you’re unable to sync to the iPod, in iTunes? Make sure that you’ve authorized the computer to play purchases from each Apple ID that you've used with the iTunes Store, as shown in the article linked below.

Authorize using the correct account name
The items you're trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:
Select a purchased song in your library and choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab. Note the Account Name that appears in the list. This is the account name (Apple ID) you'll need to use when authorizing your computer to play this purchase.
Note: The account name that appears is the one you used when purchasing the item and does not change if the account name (Apple ID) changes.
If you've authorized the Apple ID that is shown in the Summary tab, you can check the purchase history for that Apple ID from Store > View My Account. If your purchase history does not reflect the purchase of the items in your iTunes library, consider any other Apple ID you may have created, and authorize the computer for your additional Apple ID.
If you forgot the password to one of your accounts, you can recover it using Apple's password-recovery website.
The article provides additional troubleshooting suggestions that may resolve the issue, If that doesn’t take care of it.

i had an ipod classic and used it for a few years until i got an iphone.
Now I want to return to use it to fit all my songs on, however i now use a different itunes on a different computer.
It let me transfer all my purchases, but won't let me put the songs on that i downloaded from albums, and it won't let me put songs onto it that are on my iphone.
do i have to redownload all the songs again, or is there a simple method to solve this?See the How To Sections Here

Cannot open iphoto library, getting a message staing I have to upgrade to see my library which I have done four times with no results. I just had iphoto opened an hour before without a problem and have been using it for weeks before today. Any ideas as to what is going on?
Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
iPhoto 8 (09) and earlier- run the options indicated
iPhoto 9 (11) and later- run Option #4 to rebuild the database
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager (iPhoto 8 or earlier or IPhoto 11 and later) and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the
File ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 8 or earlier)
or
Library ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 9 or later)
menu option to rebuild the library.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

About a week ago, I had no problem clicking on pictures to open them to bigger size.....As of about 4 days ago - If I try to open a picture on Facebook, it shows the comments but no picture..I don't know what is going on!!! The problem is that the rep that you spoke with wasn't being as thorough as they could have been to ensure that you got complete equipment, is was a processing error from the first representative. Most of the information for exchanging a phone is auto completed by the computers as well so when the rep processes the exchange they don't have any say so as to what is actually in the shipping box so being that you didn't activate the droid 3 on your account when you called in about the missing battery and complained the computer only recognized the droid x because that probably what you had activated on your account, so that's why the second replacement was droid x equipment and not droid 3

First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod: File>Transfer Purchases -

I am assuming you have tried all the obvious ones, delete key, right-click -> delete, Edit -> Delete, etc. Are you getting an error message when you try to delete? Are you just trying to delete from the library or delete the file as well?

I just moved all my itunes content to a windows 7 computer. I can only get "songs" in list view. Genre and Artist show as Album views. The box in preferences is checked so that all lists should show as list. How can I get a list view for Artists and Genre also?
Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??
Basically , i can clear the history in Firefox , and then for a example , go to Craigslist , using IE7 (launching it from a complete different Icon , in other words at that time i never open Firefox) , then after closing out , or even leaving open as it does not seem to matter , i go into Firefox , and hit History , and there is every place i visited in IE7 , on my History in Firefox
