That link is no longer available. Use "Migration Assistant" to copy your Applications from your old mac to the new Mac, then immediately run software update. Aperture Version 3.2 will not run on your new mac with Mavericks, you will have to Upgrade to version 3.4.5 at least - you can download this update from the Support page: Aperture 3.4.5
Then launch Aperture and enter your registration key and try now too update from version 3.4.5 to 3.5 from the AppStore. The AppStore will change your Aperture registration to an AppStore version, so you will able to reinstall by downloading from the AppSTore in future.
If you want transfer only Aperture and no other applications, do it manually: You will have to copy not only the application but folders from the libraries as well:
/Applications/Aperture.app
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit.

Possible to get the color space and resolution from the .eps file

We have using the InDesign CS3 5.0.4, windows, javascript. We need to get the color space and resolution of the graphics (.eps) file using scripting.
The properties of the image like (actualPpi and effectivePpi will return the value only for the .tiff. and .jpg etc) but it will not return the .eps file resolution values.
Kindly give me the suggesting for the decrepancies.

A single EPS may contain any number of embedded bitmaps, with any horizontal and vertical resolution, and in any color space. You can use only a few of these with Illustrator -- and even only one at a time with Photoshop --, but other programs allow just about every possible combination.
Not to mention procedurally generated bitmaps, also possible with PostScript.

Remember, if you ever want to find an app quickly, you can slide all the way to the left (iOS 6 and lower) or pull down (iOS 7 and later) to get to an app.
If you know for certain that you have deleated the app, please try restarting your phone. There are many ways to do this, but the safest way would be to hold down the power button and then slide to power down.
Once powered down, restart and try to find the icon on your screen. If you still can't find it, go into the App Store and then find the app you were trying to access. It should have an iCloud download symbol since you've purchased it before, rather than saying "install."

How can I stop the color wheel of death from letting me key?

I am using Lion Mac OS X version 10.7 on an iMac. Since installing Lion, I get the color wheel every few minutes. This is diving me crazy! I try to key anything and it just stops me cold. I waait it out and then start over , I key 2 -3 words and the color wheel is back. HELP!

First, check to see that Spotlight is not indexing. Click on your Spotlight icon upper right toolbar and see if there is a progress bar. If that's the case, you need to let it finish indexing before you'll get better performance.
If not, next boot from the Lion recovery partition by booting up holding the "c" key and run Repair Disk.

Can't get the color to line up with what I picked for fill

I am attempting to get bright green color to fill the square. If you notice my color picker is (0,255,0) bright as it gets. But the actual fill color is a different shade of green.
I need the (0,255,0) shade of green. What am I doing wrong? I have an "out of gamut" warning. I don't know what that means.

I figured it out. I had to change the document color mode to RGB. Maybe this will help someone.

Your document is in CMYK mode. The color picker isn't and it can't even simulate it. So you get that warning that your color can't be printed and you see the color managed version of your color on the artboard.

In PSE 10 (Windows 7), When I edit photos in the Editor and get them the way I want them, they appear considerably different when I send them back to the Organizer, both in color and contrast. Since I print from the Organizer, they appear in print as they are in the Oganizer, and it's not what I had in the Editor. I set the color the same in both Editor and Organizer from the Edit menu, but I still have the problem. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can't get the color "black" for my text? What gives?

I'm creating a simple text to appear at the bottom of the screen. I selected "Basic Text" from the generators menu and Inserted my Text. I go to "Face" to change the color of the font, and I'm aiming the eye dropper all the way to BLACK on the bottom right hand corner, the box shows "Black" as my selected color but the FONT is PURPLE??? It works correctly with Red, Blue and every other color, just not Black? I made sure my opacity was 100% as well. What am I doing wrong? Attached is a screenshot of my issue.
Also, isn't there a faster way to select basic colors like in FCP7 where I can click on a color pallete instead of using the color wheel?

TThe separate section at the bottom with the grayscale bar is not color. That's that alpha channel control and adjusts the transparency of the clip. Use the color swatch to access the Apple color picker.

I am trying to sync my iPod with my iTunes library and I recently added more music to my library than there is space on my iPod. Normally, I know iTunes is supposed to give you the option of creating an iPod selection playlist, so you can choose which songs you want to put from your library onto your iPod. However, iTunes won't currently give me that option. It simply gives me an error message saying there is not enough free space to sync my iPod. How can I get it to create the iPod selection playlist?
