Maps navigation has been deleted, how can I get it back?

If you mean the built-in Maps app, you can't delete it.  Search all your screens and inside all your folders.  You can also use Spotlight search on your phone to locate it and if it's inside a folder, the name of the folder will show to the right of the Maps icon.  If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.  This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions, Paul.
You can use Pacifist to extract and install just that application from your install disks.

  • Somehow my itunes has been deleted how can i undo it an get my phone back in order

my account w/itunes has been deleted an i was wondering how to get it back cause i really need all my apps an ifo that was on my phone? thx Cory

As Ocean20 say, your only shot at recovering the photos and data is to restore from a backup (with iTunes if you took the backup with iTunes, through iCloud if you took the backup through iCloud).
The erasure is to prevent your data from falling into the hands of somebody who takes your phone and eventually guesses your password. If you feel that the inconvenience caused by this feature and your friend outweighs the trouble that somebody could cause if they got possession of your contacts and other data, you can change this behaviour.
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Erase Data > OFF

  • My Apple ID email has been deleted, how can I change the email?

    I can't remember my security questions :/

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

    Hey there byambar,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re describing two issues, the first issue is related to the Zoom accessibility feature and the second issue is related to the device being disabled.
Take a look at the article linked below to learn more about Zoom and the other accessibility features on your iPhone 5.

  • After downloading the new Os X Yosemite my computer has been lagging, how can I fix this?

After downloading the new OS X Yosemite my computer has been lagging, how can I fix this?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

  • My Apple ID has been disabled, how can I fix it so it is enabled?

My Apple ID has been disabled, how can I fix it so it is enabled?

You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your iPhone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • CS6 Photoshop reads this when attempting to "Could not initialize Photoshop because the preferences file was invalid (it has been deleted). HELP!

Finally got a call this morning from an Adobe Rep and he explained to me the issue. He explained that I needed to uninstall the adobe product, in this case Photoshop CS6 and download it again and reinstall it! So, I did that and get the same message when attempting to open the newly downloaded software: "Could not initialize Photoshop because the preferences file was invalid (it has been deleted). Please, if someone could help me as soon as possible! I am very anxious to remedy this situation. Thank you!

This seems to have cropped up a lot recently. What has seemed to work so far is intentionally resetting your preferences:
    Reset Preferences
    1) Close the program and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Win)/Cmd+Option+Shift (Mac) during startup (not reversible)
    or
    2) Move the Folder. See:

After a forced computer shutdown, OS X 10.9.5, I have received this message, PS could not initialize Photoshop because the preference file was invalid (it has been deleted).

One idea is to hold down the cmd-opt-shift keys and start Photoshop. It will ask you if you want to delete the settings file. Answer "Yes" and it will create a new Preferences files. Photoshop should continue  to load.

Check the papers that came with your PC or the web site of the vendor. OEM versions are either on the recovery discs they provide or can be downloaded from their site.
