What can i do to solve this problem?
Thanks,

It seems you are out of swap space. Server startup process, among other things, has to fork and exec in order to start related MQ broker process. This failed due to insufficient amount of memory needed to temporarily hold both the original process and its fork image.
You could try cleaning up /tmp partition or rebooting the system. Also, you might review what other applications are running on the system at the same time and shut some of them down temporarily until server starts up.
Hope this helps.

  • Can policy agent protect multiple instances of app server

I created multiple instances of Sun ONE App server 7.0, and one web-app in each instance. But When I am installing Policy Agent 1.1 for the second instance of App server, it told me that I HAVE had it installed.
How can I protect multiple instances of App server?

  • How can i check the office web app server(wac client) is calling custom WOPI host?

I am getting an error when I testing my wopi host(which is the same as
example) with Office Web app server "Sorry, there was a problem and we can't open this document.  If this happens again, try opening the document in Microsoft Word."
1-how can find the log files of this error?
2-how can i check the office web app server(wac client) is calling my WOPI host?
I am not sure about cumunication between owa to wopi host. I actually dont know how to implement checkfile and getfile functions to wopi host for waiting for call back from owa client.
Note:I am sure that office web app server is configured true. Because i test it with sharepoint 2013 and editing and viewing is working well.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that
CheckFileInfo is how the WOPI application gets information about the file and the permissions a user has on the file. It should have a URL that looks like this:
While CheckFileInfo provides information about a file, GetFile returns the file itself. It should have a URL that looks like this:
There is a great article for your reference.

  • Cant able to create new instance on app.server ?

The configuration files for this Oracle Application Server instance are inconsistent with the
configuration stored in the repository. In order to protect the repository,
    Hi ,
we are having oracle-app.server version :10.1.2.0.2
since this evening when we are trying to create the instance it throws the below error.
i tried dcmctl update confg also but there also this same error. need ur help.
no further configuration or deployment operations are allowed until the problem with the configuration on the filesystem is resolved. This condition arises when a prior operation was unsuccessful. The exception associated with this failed operation is:
    {0}
. Please also check the logs located at
ORACLE_HOME/dcm/logs to determine why DCM was unsuccessful in updating
the configuration files on disk. Some possible causes are:
    * permissions on files
    * file contention issues on Windows NT
    * internal Oracle error
After resolving the problem that prevented DCM from updating the configuration
files, you may use the dcmctl resyncInstance command to resolve the problem.
Alternatively, you can stop and then restart the active dcmctl or EMD
process and resyncInstance will automatically be performed.
    Thanks..

    Go to

This problem is caused by Windows not recognizing the Ubuntu partitions.  Windows is not designed to work with foreign partitions so this problem is caused by Ubuntu.

  • Can I organize task running on App Server?

    Hello.
I beg your parddon for my bad english.
Is it possible to make something like tasks on Application Server?
I need java class to execute and work with database in the, say, 10 o'clock in the morning.
Of cause, I can write a task of operation system, that does the same, but I want configure that task with Application server admin web-console, and I also want that task to start with the server and stop with it. And I want to have oppotunity to stop and start the task separately from Application Server.
Lifecycle modules can only know when App Server starts or stops.
    Thank you, in advance.

I am in the same situation. Consuming a web service is easy with APEX. But publishing one needs a web server that is more complex than the one that comes with APEX for free.
I am exploring the possibility of building the web service in Jdeveloper as you have. Then I will make a WAR file that I will publish to an apache tomcat J2EE server that another department runs. I believe it will work since all the components required should be in the WAR file.
I am new at this. I will let you know how it works out.
The other possibility is to upgrade the appserver to the full Oracle Fusion server (maybe). This may be expensive and be too much for just a simple web service. But then the publish to application server from jdeveloper is super easy.

  • Can we download the data to App. server after extracting

    Hello All,
Is it possible to download the data to application server after  extracting . Please let me know where we have to specify the path to download.
    Thanks in Advance for help
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi,
You can do this by using infospoke or you can directly take the dump to application server.
For taking the dump directly from cube u have to follow the below steps.
Create a file name in Application server take the path.
Go to the manage of the Cube click on contents. remove maximum hits... below u will find the option as store into app server and specify the path there. click on execute in background.

  • Can you have more than one App server on same linux box?

On a Linux box I want to set up a dev app server and a seperate test app server (on the same linux box).
Is this possible or do I need 2 linux boxes (1 for dev and 1 for test)?
    Thanks in advance...

Yes it is possible. I did it on a Sun SPARC
server. Make sure to install into 2 separate Oracle Home directories and change the port settings. I used a single O/S owner.

  • Urgent: can not startup the database in unix server

hi...i am facing a treamendous problem...
to shutdown the database(unix environmment), I have connected through putty and from there in the sysdba login, I have given the command "SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE"
but after that suddenly the power failure occurred and my local machine from which i was accessing the unix server, got shutdown..
after the restart, when I am again accessing the putty and connected to the oracle11g server and from sysdba login, given the "STARTUP OPEN" command, then it is showing the error...

    please help...its very urgent..

My advice is, as your request is 'urgent', you submit a Service Request at level 1 at My Oracle Support.

  • Can I run two instances of TN3270 server on 7204?

I have a 7204vxr router with two CPA cards. Each one connects to a different mainframe, and I would like to run the TN3270 server on each of my CPA's. Is this allowed? I have an active PU in VTAM on both systems, but cannot open a session on the second instance of the TN3270 server.

    Thanks for the reply Dan...
LU's are hard coded, can ping the gateway/PU no problem... I get a "socket message not tapped - 28360 " error with my TN3270E client (Hummingbird) when trying to establish a session. No bind errors in VTAM or anything like that, and no error's in the router log with al the channel debug on. I have not had the time to look at this in as much detail as I would like to, but I'll get there.. Again, thanks for your input and I'll update this as soon as I have some more info...

    Thanks for your answer,
    1. In site:http://becomeappsdba.blogspot.jp/2006/08/startup-shutdown-apps-services.html
It said,"+Order of StartUp of Services Should be First DB Listener, Database & then Application Tier Services+"
I just follow that..so what should be first, DB Server or DB listener? a little confused.
    2. remotely,used SQLTools to connect instance,it told me:"*ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed*"
Could you please suggest next action plan.
    Thanks

  • Script to Shutdwon and startup Oracle instance

    Hi
Can any one tell how to create a batch file to shutdwon or startup Oracle instance in NT server ?
    Yasir

Assume you are using ora8i and the script file is called start.bat and shutdown.bat. Their contents are as follows:
    cd %ORAHOME%
    set oracle_sid=%SID%
    %ORAHOME%\bin\svrmgrl
    connect internal/password
    startup pfile=%init_file_path%
    exit
    cd %ORAHOME%
    set oracle_sid=%SID%
    %ORAHOME%\bin\svrmgrl
    connect internal/password
    shutdown immediate
    exit
Please replace %ORAHOME% and %SID% with related string.

  • Can JSC support Sun App Server 9?

Does anyone know if JSC can support sun app server 9?
Last I heard was that 8.2 is the max version.
Along the same line, is there any word of another update to JSC
that will work with app server 9 and jdk 6???

    Hi!
Actually You can deploy your application to Sun App Server 9.0, but probably not all features will work. But now You can download NetBeans 5.5 and Visual Web Pack for it (it's a next step of Creator's evolution) and this IDE supports GlassFish (opensourced Sun App Server 9.0).
    Thanks,
    Roman.

  • Best practice when using Tangosol with an app server

    Hi,
I'm wondering what is the best practice when using Tangosol with an app server (Websphere 6.1 in this case). I've been able to set it up using the resource adapter, tried using distributed transactions and it appears to work as expected - I've also been able to see cache data from another app server instance.
However, it appears that cache data vanishes after a while. I've not yet been able to put my finger on when, but garbage collection is a possibility I've come to suspect.
Data in the cache survives the removal of the EJB, but somewhere later down the line it appear to vanish. I'm not aware of any expiry settings for the cache that would explain this (to the best of my understanding the default is "no expiry"), so GC came to mind. Would this be the explanation?
If that would be the explanation, what would be a better way to keep the cache from being subject to GC - to have a "startup class" in the app server that holds on to the cache object, or would there be other ways? Currently the EJB calls getCacheAdapter, so I guess Bad Things may happen when the EJB is removed...
    Best regards,

    Hi Gene,
I found the configuration file embedded in coherence.jar. Am I supposed to replace it and re-package coherence.jar?
If I put it elsewhere (in the "classpath") - is there a way I can be sure that it has been found by Coherence (like a message in the standard output stream)? My experience with Websphere is that "classpath" is a rather ...vague concept, we use the J2CA adapter which most probably has a different class loader than the EAR that contains the EJB, and I would rather avoid to do a lot of trial/error corrections to a file just to find that it's not actually been used.
Anyway, at this stage my tests are still focused on distributed transactions/2PC/commit/rollback/recovery, and we're nowhere near 10,000 objects. As a matter of fact, we haven't had more than 1024 objects in these app servers. In the typical scenario where I've seen objects "fade away", there has been only one or two objects in the test data. And they both disappear...
    Still confused,

I tried to validate opmn.xml file, shows following error
    C:\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_1\opmn\bin>opmnctl validate opmn.xml
    LPX-00202: could not open "opmn.xml" (error 200)
    XML parse failed: error 202.
    opmnctl: opmn validation failed!
we have Oracle App Server on Windows server 2003, new installation.
plz help me with this problem.

Not sure why you exeucute opmnctl validate, but
    C:\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_1\opmn\bin>opmnctl validate opmn.xml
    LPX-00202: could not open "opmn.xml" (error 200)opmn.xml isn't in $OH/opmn/bin directory. It's in $OH/opmn/conf.
This is quite difficult to debug from this forum. Check the logs in $OH/opmn/logs and see if that helps. Also try to shut everything down (and check that all processes are gone) and then try to restart.
    Regards,
    Martin
