I can't open .jar file, nothing happens when I click on the .jar file.
I have MAC OS 10.6.8
The thing it, I have desktop application that I'm building on Netbeans and when I compile and deploy it... it runs from Netbeans folder where I have all the files but copying the .jar on the desktop. It says "The Java JAR file "blablabla.jar" could not be launched check the Console for possible error messages"
Any idea or solution will be appreciated.

These are Java files. http://www.java.com/en/ is where you can get the latest Java for your operating system. If your Java files need an older version of Java, there are instructions on the web to downgrade Mac Java, but it is difficult, and poses security issues.

Cant open pdf files, nothing happen when i click in the document

i have adobe cs6 install in my mac computer , and recently is not been working properly. it seens that when i try to open a document with the pdf extension ,it only open the software but not the portable document file.

What version of Acrobat do you have? Does Acrobat X (which was included with CS6) open when you double-click a PDF, or does Adobe Reader open?
What happens when you open Acrobat/Reader and then try to open your PDF files?

Nothing happens when I click to select pdf file

...And I've already followed the instructions at the troubleshooting page. I'm using Chrome. Already uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player and everything else suggested except using Mozilla because IE won't work.

Could you try the steps outlined here to see if you can get IE to work: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1831 ?

Thunderbird, nothing happens when i click on the download button for addons or "full" theme. In firefox i don't have any probleme with this probleme

i have resolved the probleme by using the second way for downloading add ons for thunderbird (before i could do it in through thunderbird itself))
- go in firefox/google/add ons for thunderbird
- download the add on but do not open
- go in thunderbird/extra/add ons
- left of the searchbar "extra tools for add ons"/install add on through file
- find the file "downloads"/ choose the add on + install

Just for the record, I was having this problem with older versons of Firefox also. It just happened recently and, with the help of this forum (thanks cor-el) suggesting to open Firefox in safe mode and checking add ons, I found the problem. It was the recent update of Mcafee Site Advisor. If you have Mcafee Site Advisor as an add on, disable it and see if that helps. It worked for me.
To disable this add on,
Go to:
Tools/Add ons/Extensions and click: "disable" for this add on and restart Firefox. Hope it works for you too.
P.S. To uninstall Site Advisor altogether, you must do that through Windows Add/Remove Programs.

"program access and defaults" is not the place to remove programs in Windows. You need to go to the control panel and click on Add and Remove programs. For instructions on how to uninstall Firefox, see [[Uninstalling Firefox]]

Trying to synch my ipod and getting message that a file is corrupt and can't communicate. Trying to restore ipod but nothing happens when I click on restore. What now?

After following all of the instructions in the help site I get the ipod to the Disc Mode but nothing happens when I click on restore. Help, my wife thinks I'm sabotaging her ipod.

When you have a compatible Numbers file in icloud (from Numbers on a mac), then when you invoke Numbers on a device, that file immediately shows up in the main window that lists all documents in Numbers. (Same thing for Pages.)
I haven't used Numbers, only Pages, so I just made a test. Created a Numbers file on the mac and "move to" iCloud. On my iPhone, the file didn't show up - hmm. Then I remembered I had turned off wifi and in settings have 3G data for documents turned off. When I turned on wifi and went back to Numbers, the file appeared.
I suspect you need to import the Excel file into Numbers and then save it as a Numbers file to iCloud, using "move to".
Using Mountain Lion and latest iOS and Numbers/Pages.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

(1)    Adobe Type Manager (ATM) is not compatible with any version of Windows beyond Windows XP (32-bit, only). Attempting to install ATM on any newer version of Windows may actually disable Window's capability of rendering Type 1 and OpenType CFF fonts, requiring a reinstallation of Windows.
(2)    There is no need to use ATM to install any fonts under Windows.
(3)    The file name ._DIN-bold is indicative of a MacOS font. These fonts cannot be installed on Windows systems.

Nothing happens when I click on any app in the iTunes Store

I launched my iTunes and clicked on iTunes Store link on the left. The iTunes Store home page loaded as usual. However when I tried clicking on various apps to view their details, nothing happened. Occasionally the "Accessing iTunes Store" message appears in the status window for a split second but even after it went away I am still on the iTunes home page.
I can still download apps, but only if they have a price or free button next to their titles. Also, I am able to search for apps. But likewise, nothing happens when I click on the search results to view the apps' details.

When done, it may open automatically, but the file will be in your apps folder

Yu are trying to impoort photos taken by or saved to the iPod, right? If the photos were synced to the iPod then iPhot does not work.
